Meredith Hagner Out at As The World Turns

Wow! This is upsetting! I was looking forward to see how the would develop her character now that Brad is gone. Meredith is a fantastic actor so I'm sad to see her go.  I really enjoyed what her and Mick brough to the table, so it will be weird not seeing them interact!

Hopefully..she'll come back at some point.

Maybe now they will cut that kid's hair...his Farah Fawcett/Shaggy dog thing isn't cutting it for me

I hope the don't recast her.  I like meredith but I don't see the need to recast Liberty quite frankly.  If anything they should soras Faith if they need a female in that age range.

ETA:  Actually I don't even see the need to soras Faith, they can just focus on her Faith and Parker's friendship and connection.

 What they need to do is SORAS Sage! Carly's daughter needs to become the teenage spitfire of Oakdale pronto! Why not SORAS Emily's son Daniel while they're at it?

Lily has fifty children they can SORAS too.

i saw her on royal pains before i even knew she was on atwt, and i love her on that! i'm sure whatever she decides to do she'll be great at. sorry for her fans on that show, though. hopefully her exit story will be good. any word on a recast?

well this sucks. she's the best younger actor on that show and it's a big blow to atwt. i'm just happy they've got alexandra chando back cause we need a least one younger female lead on that show. they need to bust out the old soras on all the little kids running around. hopefully they get Sage cause a little Carly running around would be fire.

Not a surprise here.  I never thought Meredith would be around for very long on World Turns she's got  movie star appeal.  Actually she reminds me a bit of Meg Ryan....so best of luck to Meredith!  My question now is are the Liberty cancer rumors true?  If so what does that mean for Julie Pinson?  Okay okay getting ahead of myself but Oakdale has been such a revolving door lately. 

Good luck to MH. I can't say Liberty is a fave for me--but MH is a good actress and it will be fun to see what happens with her career. I don't want to see a cancer s/l. Too much after Brad and her miscarriage. Send her off to school.

In that same item, Nelson mentioned that Marie W (Meg) may be leaving as well. This made my year. I think she is one of the weakest actors on the show which has a really strong cast.

Now, I have read on another site that she is staying. Do you all know if this is so?

A Who Killed Meg Murder Mystery could have some fantastic fallout and bring in higher ratings if done right. I can't understand why they would keep this character. TPTB's obsession with her has clearly hurt this show and the ratings prove it. I dont' care if she is suddenly a bitch--I can't stand her.

If they need more Snyder women--why not bring back Ellie or Iva?. Or, perhaps Ellie, Iva or Seth has a daughter that could show up on Emma's door. A little hellion who could bring some story for Emma and Parker. They wouldn't be related--by blood anyway--LOL

I hope that they don't kill her off and we have to sit through a storyline where Janet makes it all about her.

This sucks! What is Parker going to do now? I wonder if they will recast the role?

She should just go off to college, but you know GL writers that came over love killing people off especially young ones.
