As the World Turns Spoilers

Tradition dictates that sports usurp soaps and this year will be no different. It doesn't mean, however there are no spoilers to report so let's get to it!

The best news is that Helen Wagner will return as Nancy Hughes. Katie is having a more difficult time than she is letting on, so she gets sleeping pills in order to get some rest. Brad, who has been trying in vain to get Katie's attention, finally makes contact with her and knocks the pills out of her hand. Katie overdoes it and passes out. Brad enlists Henry's help and he stays with her tending to Jacob. Katie and Nancy have one of their friendly chats about Brad. Katie eventually sees Brad.

Luke struggles with being left by Noah. He feels alone, hurt and detached. Lily takes matters into her own hands and reaches out to Noah by inviting him to stay at the house. Noah, who feels the same as Luke, agrees but keeps his distance from Luke. Unable to do anything else, Luke decides that he will finish the film that Noah started.

The Snyders spend Thanksgiving together, but they wouldn't be a soap family without some drama. This week, Lily fumes when Holden invites Molly to stay at the farm. To make matters worse (for Lily, not us), Molly accepts Kim's job offer to work at WOAK. Holden is quick to point out to Lily that what he does is none of her business any longer. Meanwhile, Meg tightens the noose around Damian's neck by bringing Officer Grady back to town. Meg tries to convince Damian that everything she knows could be the end of him, but he sticks to his guns. Meg is none too thrilled that he also decides to spend Thanksgiving with Lily.

Simon isn't happy to oblige Jack when he reveals that he wants Simon to accompany him to Oakdale to help Katie. Simon eventually goes to see Katie, probably when Jack isn't looking! Jack on the other hand, finds solace in the bottle and Carly can't stop him. Carly tries to convince Jack to forgive himself, but can't make it happen. She gets him to a motel to sober him up and both pass out in bed.

Janet takes action and enlists Dusty's help to find Jack. Three guesses what she finds! Yes, our superhero and ex-wife in bed! Jack decides it's time to head back to Oakdale when he sees a young girl who reminds him of Sage.

Rosanna and Craig decide to get married, but no one is happy for them, or the least bit supportive.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I can't wait for Nancey's return; just isn't ATWT without Nancey, I always said that Nancey had Katie had nice scenes together; I miss Lisa hasn't had a storyline in years, but she still pops in every once in awhile, loved when her and Lucinda fought always called her Lucy; I'm okay with the modern story-lines but it good that ATWT doesn't for get their past. I sure miss the old days of ATWT. I do wish they stop doing that damm jerky one camera crap, that was GL down fall.

ATWT is not the only soap that films that way, all soaps film that way now. It doesn't bother me. It is nothing like Guiding Light's production model. None of the soaps that are left film light Guiding Light atleast they still have their sets unlike Guiding Light's sets.
