Happy Birthday and Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday. It is a chance to pause amid our busy everyday lives and take a look back and appreciate the blessings we’ve received. It is a time to remember the tribulations we’ve overcome and eat so much Turkey we go into a post Thanksgiving dinner coma, waking up just in time to watch some good old college football.
November is also an important month for Daytime Confidential. This month the Daytime Confidential Podcast celebrates its third anniversary–and almost 500 episodes–while DaytimeConfidential.com turns two. So much has happened in the wonderful world of soaps during that time, it’s almost hard to believe we're at the end of the year. I can't express how much fun the readers and listeners have made it for me and the Daytime Confidential team everyday. You keep us on our toes, debate with us about the latest news and storylines (both here on the blog and on Twitter) and help bring humor during the more depressing periods (i.e. Chuck Pratt’s reign of terror). For this, I am oh so thankful. Without you, the reader and listener, Daytime Confidential would not be possible.
In celebrating Daytime Confidential’s birthday, I am pleased to “officially” announce the launch of our new Daytime Confidential Forums. The new Daytime Confidential Forums are fully integrated into the Daytime Confidential, TV Fan Online, and Movie Junkie Online system.This should make it easy and fun to drop by and hang out, discuss and debate your favorite soaps, stars, characters, primetime TV series, or the latest movies with the friends and frenemies you’ve made in the comments on the blog. I hope you’ll enjoy this new feature and that it will add to your Daytime Confidential experience.
Last, but certainly not least, I am thankful for Daytime Confidential’s amazing team of contributors. Whether their contribution be large or small, on the podcast or off, each has helped Daytime Confidential’s explosive growth in 2009 and made it what it is in some way. To them, for this, I say thank you.

Happy Birthday DC podcast and DC! Thank you Luke for all the time and effort you put in to the website and podcast! And all the contributors to the site and podcast, you guys are wonderful! I enjoy the podcasts and articles so much that I'm not afraid to admit that DC is the first thing I check when I get on the internet. You all have taught me so much about daytime as a whole, and made me a better fan of the genre. Good Job to the whole DC gang, and keep it up, I'd be lost without you.

Happy Birthday to DC!!! I love this soap site. The news you all deliver is top notch and I like all of your various opinions.
The Victoria Rowell Interview is what brought me to this site and I haven't left since! LOL...thanks for the podcasts! That's my favorite part of the site.
It's nice to have a forum to discuss our love and sometimes hate for Daytime TV! It's fun and I truly enjoy it!

DC has quickly become my MUST SEE place for soap gossip. If it ain't here, I don't believe it. And amazingly enough, it hasn't been crushed by all of the fanbase garbage that has damaged so many other soap sites.

I don't post on the boards all that often, but I've been listening to the DC podcast since back in the day when it was just Luke & Lisa (who I still miss terribly). There have been lots of changes over the years, but I love listening to all the podcast that Luke & company put out, including Movie Junkie & Primetime Pulse. Congratulations Luke and everyone else involved in Daytime Confidential and the entire TV Fan Online family, both past and present. I look forward to laughing and being entertained by you for years to come!!!
