I don’t remember Nikolas telling Robin about the affair, so I was a little surprised when she admitted to Elizabeth that she knew. I was expecting it to be one of Liz’ weird dream sequences where Lucky comes in, guns blazing or throwing money again. Part of me was happy that Elizabeth has someone to confide in. Female friendships are rare on this show. However, the other part of me was annoyed by the whole thing. Robin seemed way too forgiving of an affair and betrayal of Lucky. Elizabeth spent too much time explaining away her behaviour. One does not accidentally start playing tonsil hockey with one’s brother in law. And stop saying you love Lucky, when it’s clear by your behaviour that you don’t.
As for Liz and Nikolas, I still don’t see passion, chemistry or desire between them. With Jason, Liz seemed almost desperate for him. With Nikolas, I see anger and annoyance more than lust. And on his side, he still seems a little bored by the whole thing, like it’s just about the conquest and what he can’t have.
Stupid line of the day:
Nik to Liz: “He deserves to hear the truth. From you.”
Yeah, because you’re too much of an asshat to tell him yourself. I’m glad she called him on that.
I hate Lisa and do not want her moving to Port Charles. Ironic that a position opened up that’s right up her alley (sort of like when Olivia moved to town) Plus, she came to town as a consult on a case, but now she’s operating on someone? Is that allowed?
Interesting to see Maxie go to Lucky with her problem. It seemed as though they were being chemistry tested for a possible second Laxie go around. Not sure how I feel about that yet.
I hate that Jax is still all over Dante about busting Sonny and then being all, “don’t let my secret out” to both Dante and Olivia, like somehow, the fact that Sonny is a criminal, who likes to brag about his many crimes and may get busted for it, will somehow be all Jax’ fault.
I’m starting to hate Olivia and the fact that she just doesn’t see Sonny for the murdering thug that he is. He just “lost” his wife and she’s fine with flirting and kissing him. Whatever.

Robin indulging Liz in her cheating and lying was not a pretty sight after she rightfully busted Nik. Robin and Liz aren't real friends. They are plot contrivance friends. They usually have no use for each other if a major story isn't happening.
Lisa is everywhere that Patrick is. I am already annoyed. Robin should start packing Patrick's clothes to chuck him out. It is Leyla part deux. Why can't Robin have some hot guy come chasing after her? Brad from Rochester or Jagger comes back to town. Steve should fall in love with Robin and woo here while Patrick is playing dumb with Lisa.
I like Maxie and Lucky going a second round without drugs involved.
I have got no problem with Jax hounding Dante to lock up Sonny. It is about someone decided to make sure that Sonny pays for his crime. It isn't like Sonny and Jason are ever going to et the punishment that they deserve.
Sam has become Jason's appendage again. I liked her better when she was not glued to his behind.

Perkie, I so agree with everything you said about Liz and Nik. And even Robin's lack of morals in her advice surprised me a little.
As I said earlier, I didn't like the scene with Lisa, Patrick and Matt today. She's just not enjoyable to watch. I hope this storyline dies a quick death. But I do wish Epiphany had more of a storyline.
Seems that Dante is getting even closer to Sonny and finding more things that they have in common. I think when the truth comes out it is going to be really good. DZ is proving himself to be an excellent actor who can really hold is own.
Loved Sam and Jason visiting the gallery and the look on Jason's face when the gallery associate recognized him.
I thought it was interesting that Maxie went to Lucky for help with Franco. Seems a large part of the cast is going to be pulled into the Franco storyline which I still find intriguing.
And I just read an announcement that Genie Francis is bringing Laura back in December! Yeah!

I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) that Nik told Robin a couple months ago about the kiss he shared with Liz at Jake's. I don't think she knew that they were having an affair, though.
Even though I like Robin, I would like to see Liz confide in Sam, haha. I think that would be really, really interesting to watch, IMO.

Here is the clip of Robin and Nik talking about it.
Nik just came out and kept asking Robin questions about where Elizabeth went. Robin wanted to know why and Nik just told her what was going on. Nik wasn't tell Robin the whole storyline so she told him to cut the crap. Robin also read the letter Liz wrote to Nik. Robin saw that Liz was trying to stay away from Nik. And Robin already knew the story.
So when Liz talked to her about it, Robin already understood the situation. She knew Liz was trying to stay away from Nik. I love that Liz finally said that Nik brings out a passion in her. Combine that with her feelings she already had for him as friends, and she started getting some new feelings that she's scared of.
Robin was asking Liz all the right questions. Like does she love Nik? What about Lucky, etc. What is she going to do. Robin did tell her Lucky had a right to know. Robin and Liz has always been supportive of each other. When Robin was going though her stuff with Patrick then the post partum, Liz didn't judge her but just supported her. Robin did the same for Liz.
Hate Olivia. Just hate her, peroid. They are testing Lucky and maxie with Jj as Lucky. You can tell. She could ask PI sam to find Franco.

A great post I read........
I think Liz knows, but is horrified to admit what she truly, honestly wants. The woman has two kids that she never intended, born out of one night stands.
She's suffocating in a domestic life that she never dreamed of.
She's barely doing art anymore.
The love of her life, over the years, became the kind of upstanding, "normal" citizen that they once swore they'd never become.
I think she really hates her life, hates what it's become. She loves her kids, but this isn't the life she, in her heart of hearts, dreamed of.
And I honestly think that's what they have in common. One of the reasons Lucky really is trying so hard to keep it together, is because he has to work overtime, lest he too has to peak into his heart and truly examine if his life is what he really, really wants.
Lucky and Liz are soulmates, but along the way both have willingly destroyed their lives, and their relationship. Why? That's the question I want answered. Because on some level these two people want the love, but not the life they've attached to it.

There does need to be more female friendships on the show. I like that Lulu and Maxie have each other even though they drive each other crazy and I liked the Carly/Olivia friendship before that went all down hill. For kicks they should try Sam and Liz, that would be soapy awkward goodness
This Lisa chick needs to go! She hasn't even applied for the job and she is already operating???? Scrubs is my happy place on GH, I would really prefer they be left alone, but this is a soap.
The Liz/Nik thing grosses me out and needs to be over. I don't feel the chemistry either, it's as if they are bored and have nothing else to do.
I used to like Olivia, but now I spend most of her scenes rolling my eyes. Ditto for Lulu, I liked her after Johnny and before finding out Dominic is an undercover cop.

Lucky and Liz are soulmates as in people who don't really love each other, only the memories of a youngful love and keep going back to each other out of habit. I am so sick of these soap couples who treat each other like crap and then reunite, claiming to love each other. Liz and Lucky need to be over and like now. It isn't love that they have, it is ugly destruction that soap fans like to romanticize.

OR somebody could just tell me that I misheard. It's hard to be a Dante lover & Sonny hater these days, with the increasing number of scenes they share, LOL.

Maybe Robin was so non-commital because of her "close call / flirting" with whats his name during the PPP, PSP, ??? story.
But now if Lisa is hanging around and interrupting her life with Patrick then it might be a different story how she feels about women or men that mess around with married / engaged / attached males / females. At that time maybe she will say more about this subject to Liz if it isn't too late that is. I don't know but just thinking if it might be forshadowing for this Lisa/Matt/Robin/Patrick thing.
I so agree with this. I am a SamFF and this is why I am not fully on the JaSam bandwagon this time around. I hate how they write Sam when she is with this moron. I thought at first they would be different and they were but it looks like they are slipping right back into the same dreary jasongawdness worship. I want Sam out doing her job and being with her family.
I dislike Olivia as I see her as sacrificing her son and her secret for her jollies. Her and Liz are on the same wavelength to me. It is all about me-me-me-me-me-me-me-me-me

I don't remember Robin and Nikolas discussing Nik's affair with Liz. I thought the Liz and Robin scene was going to be another dream sequence and was surprised when it wasn't. I didn't expect Robin to be judgemental. That isn't Robin. It would have been way out of character. She wasn't approving. She was listening. She and Liz have been friends. They are also neighbors so they must spend time together when Jason and Sonny are hogging up the screen.
Is it me or have the writers decided to only give Sam dialog that rephrases what Jason has just said? The rhythm of their conversation was super staccato today and more than a bit repetitive. How many different ways can the two of them say that Franco is a reclusive artist who waves? Yawn!

YAY! Someone else remembers BRAD from Rochester from Robin's abyssmal PPD storyline. At the time, I thought that Brad (who bore more than a passing resemblance to Tom Pelphrey whom tptb were trying to woo for the role of Dante) and perhaps the other characters Robin met were being set up to follow Robin back to Port Charles and then find reasons to put down roots there. Brad was a nice guy and HOT. Exactly what PC could use. New blood in the style of how Lois was brought in back in the day.
I wouldn't mind having JAGGER back onscreen again either. Antonio Sabato Jr has enough cache as an actor to demand to be written as competent law enforcement (which is what I think the case is with Jonathan Jackson as Lucky).
LUCKY/MAXIE - Does anyone else remember young Maxie saying that she was going to marry Lucky when she grew up?
GENIE FRANCIS returning to GH: That jibes with the persistent RUMOR that the Spencers are being written out with a flourish: Jackson's return as Lucky is short term to facilitate...Geary is ready to retire from acting... LuLu will be absorbed into the mob orbit and be the last Spencer left behind.

Liz, although I hate this story, is playing it right. Her brain loves lucky, there is no question about it, but her heart, and other areas feel love/lust for Nik. That is why the passion seems like anger for her. As for Nik being bored, that seems to be status quo for TC, unless he is in a cassidine rage, he is as bad as Amelia Heinle's Victoria Newman on Y&R.
The new girl, needed to be brought in differently. She should have come in as a doctor doing a consult, and Shawn D (I don't know his GH Character's name) asked her out. He tells Patrick about his date and they made it a double date, and then the awkwardness ensues in a nice restaurant. Instead of apparently dropping in on their family thanksgiving.
Dante/Dominick has some balls! First telling Sonny no, then accusing him of trying to off Johnny. I love the conflict that this guy can show about sonny's actions. It is amazing, and I hope that he gets the credit he deserves and gets an emmy. (I know, doubtful since he is new, but I can hope.)
Jax is such a douchenozzle! I hate him sooo much. I hope it all blows up in his face. Just when Carly forgives him, the truth comes out about his role in Sonny's arrest. I hope that will open Morgan's eyes too. If Morgan hates him, he is toasted!
I liked Maxie and Lucky together, but I think if they break up Spixie it will be a great story (because Frons loves them). However, I don't think that is where they are going with this. I think that he is going to go in a different direction. Maybe a new character, or another returning favorite from the past. What about Sarah Webber? They are bringing the family back.

I immediately thought 'potential love interest' when I saw Maxie and Lucky together. I really don't get the whole Spixie thing. Trying to get Maxie in a mature relationship, even with Lucky, would be a logical next step for Maxie. Especially when her whole Franco mess up is over.
I can understand Tony Geary leaving, but not the entire Spencer clan. GH got JJ back on the show, they are not going to lose him now. I can't imagine they wouldn't fight for him to stay.

I liked Maxie and Lucky together. Jonathan and Kirsten seem to have chemistry from what I could see. I would like a second round without the drugs and everything.
And it was good that she was telling him about her problem - parts of it. So yeah ... have no problem there.
Nik and Liz are gross! Sorry, but this has to stop. Like Perkie said, she says she loves Lucky but openly keeps lying to him and is still cheating on him!?!?!? Wouldn't call that love. Not at all.
Was annoyed by Olivia and Sonny. And even more annoyed by Jax.
And that Lisa girl has to go! Matt can find someone else ... but most definitely not her!

Thats the thing. TPTB have reportedly tried to get Jonathan Jackson back before and been unsuccessful. The rumor suggests that THIS time around the difference was that there is a definite timetable and that this is just a limited engagement to bring closure to the Spencers and the character that he originated.

Is Liz's constant, whiny self-flagellation supposed to make me feel sorry for her? Because it's really making me hate her more. Never has the old adage "talk is cheap" ever been more relevant than in her case. She may talk a good game, but her actions belie any kind of remorse that she spouts.
And sorry BigDede, but I don't accept that Liz's life didn't turn out the way she planned as an excuse for what she's doing. That's true of most people, but they just make the most of what they have. She needs to grow a backbone and own up to the decisions she's made.

ahanshew: I thought I heard that JJ only signed on for a short period of time, which made no sense to me, but then a lot of backstage stuff on this show makes no sense to me!!
ghlover: Jax is no saint, I'll give you that. But he's wanted Dante to do his job and get Sonny for months, long before the Claudia stuff happened. The Claudia stuff is really just icing on the cake.
I'm not saying I like Jax' actions. In fact, I wish he'd shut up and let Dante do his job. But he's nowhere in the same league as SaSon, who kill poeple who get in their way.
Sonny (and by extension, Jason) wants money, power and people to fear him. He loves it over and above everything and everyone else, inclduing his children. He won't leave the business despite his children being in danger, because he loves it more than he loves them.
Jax, is motivated by trying to protect his family, Carly, the boys, the baby from the violence that surrounds Sonny. It may not be the smartest way to go about it (moving to Australia would work better), but that's the way it is.
