Star Jones Says Cheater Barbara Walters a "Good Choice" for Tiger Woods Interview

Oprah may be trying to score a hole-in-one by landing the first Tiger Woods interview, but Star Jones believes Barbara Walters would be a "very good choice." The Huffington Post reports The Insider contributor, had this to say about her former boss on The View,

"My former boss might be a good choice," Jones said on "The Insider." "She wrote an entire book where she detailed her own affair and got paid a lot of money. She would be a very good choice. That would be like the pot calling the kettle black. I'm not sure she would be sympathetic, but she can't be as judgmental."

Star is right: Barbara was the other woman when she had an affair with a married man.

Payback hurts..

Star Jones, classy as usual.  She is right, but leave it to Star to piggyback on this sorry story to get her name back in the news.  Go away, Starlet.

Not sure how this counts as any form of payback...

Barbara's book was about her life but her affair was not the subject of the entire thing. Her's was a best seller, I guess Star's wasn't.
Poor Star, still drinking that hater-ade, let it go girl...

Actually Star hasn't written an autobiography like her former employer Barbara Walters but Ms. Jones is a best selling author as well.  Look her up...you might be surprised.

I have been loving Star Jones on The Insider.  It makes me miss her on The View.  She is giving that show a bounce in my opinion. I love her honesty and candor.

I would prefer Oprah get the Tiger interview...Barbara is just annoying.

Star has written books, but not nearly as truthful as Barbara's.  Say what you want about Barbara, at least she was honest.  Star's coy bit about how she lost all her weight is what turned "View"ers against her (along with her pimping out her wedding to sponsors).

I didn't even realize she was on The Insider.  It's the perfect place for her.  Those scummy pseudo-entertainment shows are where pseudo-celebrities belong.

Go Smitty!
I will always believe Star and Rosie were both screwed by Barbara and her 'why are they not standing up' cohosts (Meredith not included!). I LOVE ROSIE.

I don't believe that she's written about it, but Oprah has certainly spoken about her experiences having an affair with a married man.  How is that really any different than Barbara's?

people actually listen to what star jones says? at least with barbara we get the whole truth & it isn't sugar coated. with star we were supposed to believe she lost all that weight the old fashion way. she just wants to get back into headlines but nobody really cares what she has to say. barbara is much more respected & influential than her & star is just jealous.

Star is trying to put in her 2 cents to show that she is still relevant. While it is kind of a "who asked you?" moment, she is speaking the truth.
