 This one was hard. I had to go with Rebecca Budig tho! Where is Heather Tom??? She would have been my first choice, followed by Rebecca, and then Sharon Case!

Why not Tom in place of Khalil for Y&R? Why not Tom in place of Jones for B&B? She is one of the best supporting actresses of the decade.  I don't understand why she isn't among the choices. Liz Hendrickson should've made this list as well.

I so wanted to pick Eden Riegel but I have to go with my Kathy Brier. I fell in love with that character, and actress, the moment she appeared on OLTL. I’m not much of a crier but that woman can pull some tears from me. Eden is a very, very close second though. I was so glad that over-awarded child from B&B, Jennifer whatever, finally left daytime so Eden could finally get her long overdue Emmy. I can understand why Genie was listed as Supporting but GH needs to come correct and put her back in her rightful place as a leading character. Genie, Susan Lucci, and Erika Slezak, should be to ABC Daytime what Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are to DC Comics – THE TRINITY.

 My pick is Sharon Case aka Sharon Newman Abbott from Y and R . Her character has been through a lot this decade. Sharon Case gave one of the best performances on the show. When it comes to great acting Sharon Case, brought it day in and day out. So that's why I chose her.

I'm not sure if I would call ER supporting. She was one of leads of AMC for quite a while.

Eden Riegel without a doubt. She can pull my heart strings like no one else. I still remember when Bianca finally told Maggie she was raped, it was like... 8 minutes of the camera on Bianca and it was so hard to watch because it was so intense and raw. Amazing, amazing actress.

Rebecca Herbst over actresses like Jane Elliot and Jess Walton? Jesus take the wheel.

I wanted to vote Bobbie Eakes, but she isn't listed for AMC, she does a better Krystal then Macy.

I see the Jizzers are rigging the voting for that awful Rebecca Herbst. No way does she win over people like Jane Elliott, Jess Walton, or Sharon Case.   She needs to be at the bottom of the list.

I wouldn't say Becky is the best actress but I wouldn't put her anywhere near the worst.  She certainly knows how to bring on the emotion when she is given good material to work with.  I haven't watched every actress on this list.  I love Genie and find it a shame that she is on a supporting list. 

She's no where close to most of the actresses on here.  Putting the likes of her and jess Walton on the same list is insulting as far as I'm concerned. Sharon Case is 10 times better also,

I knew Reecca Herbst was popular, but I wasn't expecting her to crush the competition. Anyways, I had to vote for Eden because I will forever love her and Bianca Montgomery. Just so everyone knows, I can still love Bianca because in my head she never had Zach's child. See how that works!

I'm a little confused. Wasn't Kelly Monaco nominated for a Lead actress emmy in 2006? I'm not tryna start a fight, just wondering why she's on the 'supporting actresses' list.
Anyhoo...since I haven't watched all the soaps, I'm just gonna go with my GH list and say, Kelly Monaco, but Jane Elliot and KS get honorable mentions, Maxie went from loving Jesse Beaudry, to Coop, to the lucky affair, losing Georgie, seducing Logan and almost, Johnny (which I'm still hoping for) getting spinelli, and then Franco ONS, whether u love her or hate her, she basically knocked every material she was given outta the park and I give her major kudos. Don't even get me started on KeMo.

No contest, Eden Riegel all the way. I've never had a soap character move me the way Bianca has over the years. I give all the credit to Eden, and her acting skills. The character of Bianca Montgomery was, and still is one of the best characters in Pine Valley. A lot of Zendall fans don't like her because of her supposed "betrayal" of Kendall, but I couldn't care less.  They need to realize that Kendall has done a lot worse over the years.

Eden is the best. I love her, and Binks as well!!!

As soon as you can explain to me how Becky Herbst  has more votes than anyone. Insulting.

The only reason I didn't vote for Rebecca is because I say she had enough votes so I felt ok to vote for Gina Tognoni.

I for one would have voted for RH because for those that have watched GH over the years know she is a good actress when given the right material, shoot she even works with the crap she has been given lately.

Maybe some voters don't watch the other soaps, and the only ones they know are from GH.

Now I wish I would have voted for RH just to piss off more people.

These lists are about as shocking as last night's Dexter.

Season - Do you think Dexter is worth renting the seasons?  I have thought about it but am afraid to get hooked on another hour of television.

Thanks - I will have to add the first season to my Netflix.  I already have the first season of Lost that I have not had a chance to watch and someone gave me Puching Daisies.  I haven't opened that.  I will get to all of them eventually.

People need to keep in mind when looking at the poll results that not everyone watches all the soaps. Even in some of the shows that they do watch they may not have watched during a time when an actress was on, or had a juicy story that they did a great job on.
As great as Jane Elliot is she has not been given the respect she deserves by the writers and has not had a great storyline of her own to show some of the voters her talent, ergo people will vote for other people that have had the opportunity to shine more than she has even if she is a better actress.
Although I do think that Rebecca Herbst is getting a lot of grief  considering she is talented, has been consistently good, and has had lots of chemistry with the cast. This latest storyline proves that she can still kick ass even when the writing is horrible.
She may not be the best on the list but she is still pretty damn good.

Hell yes.  rather you like her character or not, the girl has done awesome with the material she has been given.

Supporting actress for the last DECADE.  I flove JE, but she hasnt had any real story in the last decade.  The crime isnt that she isnt winning this poll, its that she isnt treated with the respect she deserves by TPTB.

So since Jane hasn't been as front and center and hasn't been given that much to do as Rebecca that is the reason she has less votes than Rebecca. If that's true then how is Christel Khalil beating Jess Walton? I think Rebecca is a good actress but she's no powerhouse. Jane can do more with ten minutes of screen time a month than Rebecca can do with ten minutes of screen time a day.

Season I sort of see that as two differnt questions - I didnt vote for Rebecca and I would agree with your assessment.  I dont watch CBS so I cant compare CK and JW to each other or anyone else.  I voted for Kelly because of the ABC actresses, I thought she did amazing work when her character lost her baby late term and for her work opposite Alexis.  The other person I considered was Cathrine Hickland, esp. for her work when her characters daughter died and the post murdering Truman storyline most notably in her scenes opposite Kathy Brier.

Without question, AMC's Rebecca Budig. Truly a naturally talented actress, who is often underrated and over-looked. But nobody made as big an impact as she did, along with fellow co-star Josh Duhamel, playing one half of the extremely popular couple "Leo and Greenlee" on AMC. They are still popular several years after Josh left AMC. (And fans still wish for their magic to be seen on screeen again!) But who could forget Rebecca's amazing work after Josh left the soap when she portrayed a widowed and grieving "Greenlee" with such depth and emotion that you could feel your heart aching right along with her?! She was brilliant then and still is now.
