soapjunkie, IA.  AMC was hoorible in 09 and Days should have the nom.  But I hope that OLTL wins because it is the best soap on air, next to days and Y&R and AMC are horrible in the writing department.

AMC.. how interesting... It should have gone to Days instead.  Crossing my fingers for OLTL... that show has been kicking up some serious good writing.

Oh whatever, I'm glad for AMC, it's the only one I watch out of those nominees. Those who say the show has been utterly and completely dreadful ALL YEAR obviously don't watch AMC that much. There have been some very well written episodes in 2009, more than one.

JMO, Go All My Children.

damn, i thought i was the drunk one. i didn't think there was anything that strong to make amc watchable. you should meet my friend One Life to Live if you're looking for a good time.

OLTL is the best out of the bunch and deserves to win it.

Honestly, These 4 Shows are the BEST WRITTEN DAY TO DAY WRITTEN SHOWS on DAYTIME... currently

Honestly people watch and react based on Favortism..

The guild im sure has their favorite shows but in the end they vote on who honestly wrote the best material.. that was submitted...

AMC
ATWT
OLTL
Y&R

to be perfectly honest ... I AGREE 100%

I stopped reading when I saw AMC in the first line.

"All my Children " and Writing Awards is like saying "Chicago Cubs" and "World Series Winners" in the same sentence.  It just doesn't happen. (but in the Cubs case, doesn't mean it should NOT happen)

As a Young and the Restless fan- Soap fan in general, not to mention a human being with a functioning brain, I am offended.

I just wanted to comment on that.

I wouldn't wipe the crack of my behind with not one of All My Children's scripts from this past season for fear I would get a rash of stupidity.

The nominees should be OLTL, Y&R, and Days.
What the hell is AMC doing in that list? ATWT doesn't belong there either.

Why aren't Maria and Hogan in the Y&R list?
Is that a typo? Aren't they the head-writers?! WTF??!!

Its NOT a typo... They went Fi-Core during the strike so certain membership benefits and perks aren't given to you.

saying amc deserves a writing nomination is like saying Charity Rahmer (ex Belle Black, Days) deserves an Oscar. Some things should just never happen...

O lord Chels let it go, that poor actress ,I feel so bad for her. You do realize that she is a human being and not a punchline??
