Jamey, OLTL is the ugly stepchild that is not going to get the buzz and publicity because Frons want it gone.  I agree that it is the best soap on air and should get the publicity just like AMC and GH get.  But I hope that the buzz will translanted into ratings gold.

GH is still same old same old, but franco and Jason are hot together and they should just kiss, LOL.  Dante and Lulu are great together and lucky and Dante are great as friends and partners.

OLTL is great.  Ron is doing the damn thing and I can't wait for the next episode.

I am also frustrated at the lack of ratings and attention that OLTL has been getting. 

The latest incarnation of Mitch is the best yet.  He is tormenting everyone and you can tell Roscoe is loving being back at One Life.  While I agree with Belinda about "coming back from the dead" stories, this is one time I will have to make an exception.  I love the fact that Mitch is lashing out and threatening everyone on canvas, if only this had been the story that Andrea Evans returned for. 

Nat and John are actually watchable, and Melissa Archer must have gotten Jamie's memo and has toned down her scenery chewing.  Ditto Bree and Farah.  

ABC is pushing the envelope with Kish plus Nick, and that is not even getting mainstream attention.  I do not know what it is going to take to get One Life the respect and attention it deserves.  

If this show does end, I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a soap this much.  I never thought I would see a soap where everyone is represented.  I have been watching daytime since 1977, and OLTL has won my heart these past two years.  I stopped watching ABC soaps after GH went down the tubes, but I tuned back in to OLTL after all the positve comments on DC. 

Ron and Frank deserve medals, for bring back the soapy goodness I loved when I was a teenager.  Nothing else comes close to touching One Life.

Jamey, I was a Rylee fan 'till the end, not anymore though, I don't really want to see this Erica/Ryan/Greenlee triangle play out unles ssomebody *good can write it.

Balance can happen with JaSam together. its about having OTHER nonmob storylines and showing Sam with her family, JaSam interacting with the Qs, her looking for her father etc.

Now that I'm done throwing up, I can write that this was a good podcast. I still don't understand how Luke could compare Jason/Franco to The Dark Night. That's just crazy insane to me. No way. Jason is no Batman, are you on drugs? As a woman I've seen that movie over 65 thousand times and will most likely watch it again this weekend. Never have seen or won't ever see the crap that is Twlight. Though, I did see Sex and Citty movie on more than one occasion. Jesus, compairing Jason to Batman, what is the world coming to. I've got my panties in a twist over that, lol.

Liz challenged Jason's lifestyle?  Maybe.  But look how that ended...no more Liason.  What does that tell you?  Elizabeth and Jason MAY have loved each other, but obviously not enough to make Jason leave the mob for good.

I agree with EET, there are many ways JaSam can grow as a couple.  There are tons of things for them to do together and a lot of stuff they need to discuss; the majority of them have absolutely nothing to do with the mob.

I really enjoyed the scenes with Rebecca and Elizabeth....and I loved how Becks made Lizzie shake in her boots at the thought of someone actually telling Lucky the truth, lol.  It was freaking awesome!  However, Rebecca Herbst almost, ALMOST made me feel sad for Elizabeth, but I think it was mostly because this storyline is crap.  And I don't care who spills the beans about Liz and Nik's affair, I just wish someone would already!

Ash I am glad you brought up Rebecca vs. Lizard.  When that was mentioned on the podcast I cheered - the whole bit about how she was saying everything the JaSam fans had been saying for year.  DARN TOOTIN.  Rebecca was spot on in the things she said about Lizard.  I only wish she had been this fiesty about things from the start.   Had THIS version of Rebecca been running around PC for the last year I think more people would have been supportive of the character.  Instead they turned her into Emily light and made her all moopy in that blah storyline with Nik (which wasnt helped by the fact that TC continues to phone it in)  Plus they kept her isolated with the same 4 characters - they should have given her a bff and they should have put her in more scenes with the Qs.

 EET I agree Jason and Sam have grown together they are not the same ..
I think they are amazing couple and they can still be without having mob element ..
Have Sam with her family don't change that Sam fits with Molly/Kris/Alexis ...
Have Jason with the Q's bring him back to his family .... it is time ..
Have a family dinner with the Davis/Q's/ scorpios /Johns ....
I can't wait seeing Mac as Alexis's boyfriend sits near Jason and Edward ....

I don't know about everyone else, but for me Jamie Luner isn't the issue. I think she's a great actress, always has been. It's the fact that Pratt has her playing a legacy character that went to school with Tad, Angie, and Jesse, you just don't buy that with Jamie in that role. I was very young in the 80s, but my mother told me the history with these characters and you guys are right. When Liza came back to town, there was barely a mention of that history. Jamie should have been brought in as a different character to make her own or even Skye. There is a boatload of talented women in that age group such as Mary Beth Evans that would be perfect as Liza. I am with Jamey when they get to L.A., I just don't see them keeping JL. Belinda, you are right about Marissa, she has zero chemistry with J.R. and that the character is useless.

On OLTL,
Though, I am not a regular viewer, I can understand some fans' frustrations. Some storylines are good, but others are bad, and I know a lot of fans hate what they did to Ross.

On GH,
I think that Franco does have this weird whatever you call it with Jason, it does seem very Dark Knight-ish. I did love the scene where Jason ripped into Michael, somebody has to be the voice of reason. I think that Sam fits into the Cassadines, I just wish that she was closer to them. I would love for GH to bring back Richard Dean Anderson, I am with you, Belinda, more Webbers and Hardys, the better. And as far as Rebecca saying to Liz what Sam fans have been thinking, both have made more than their share of mistakes. It's just that Sam owns up to hers.

I certainly don't think you need to be a JaSam or a Sam fan to appreciate Becca smacking Liz down verbally.  I loved it because someone FINALLY said something to Liz about her behavior that wasn't trying to excuse it, or wasn't using it as an opportunity to pat Liz on the head and tell her what a "good" person she is.  I think that spoke to any viewer who is sick of Liz constantly skating on her mistakes and being held up as some paragon of virtue.
