Kim Zimmer Dishes Upcoming Book and Meeting With Brad Bell!

 I'd  actually tune back into B&B if Zimmer joined the cast.  I wish B&B would get some better writers.  For the first time in a LONG time, Susan Flannery isn't the only talented actor on the show.  Sarah Brown, Rick Hearst, Alley Mills, and incoming Zach Conroy are all very good actors.  I use to think Jack Wagner was talented, but the last time I watched B&B, it was clear he was bored as hell and just dialing in his performance.  The same can be said of Katherine Kelly Lange, John McCook, and Windsor Harmon.

I would had loved to see her on Y&R, go though a few rounds with Jill and Victor. I will have to force myself to watch her on B&B. I will watch her will ever she goes.

Wow - you read my mind ! I could have written that..... As for Kim Zimmer on B&B, I would only be interested if she played Sally Spectra's sister, some 'over the top" type of character. 

The show definately needs better writing and it could certainly do WITHOUT Jackie M and Owen....  I literally stopped watching it daily because of that horrible acting and storyline.  Watching Owen and Jackie M. reminded me of NBCs "Just Shoot Me".......  Horrible writing and actors laffing at their own Jokes...Horrible stuff

Hmmm,  I told myself that Guiding Light was the only soap I would watch even if actors went to other shows.  I'm going to have to take that back because I would tune in and give any show a try that has Kim Zimmer on it. 
I'm curious to know though....  Doesn't B&B already have a large cast for being a 1/2 an hour?  Would she be just a recurring? 

Unless Susan Flannery is retiring(please no!)  I don't see alot of room to add KZ.  As mentioned above the cast is already large for a 30 minute show.
 

With B&B's ever expanding cast, is it possible that the show could be gearing up for expansion to an hour? 

Could Kim Zimmer play Sandy's mom? It would be nice if Kim and Eric hook up. This would cause some conflict with Stephanie!

I would've loved to see her on Y&R as Katherine's long lost daughter. 

 I think Kim Zimmer would make a great recast Kristen Forrestor!

Please no Kim Zimmer on either Y&R or B&B, she RUINED Santa Barbara and Pam Long made it the Kim Zimmer hour.   Kim always plays "Reva" wherever she works.  Neither show needs her and they don't utilize the cast that they already have.

Kim is a fine actress and has all those emmys, let her join one of those 5 minute online soaps.

IMO

I loved Kim on "Santa Barbara" and never felt she took over the show.  Zimmer is one of daytime's finest actresses and any soap would be lucky to have her.

It does seem as if B. Bell and the gang is making the moves to an 1hr show. I knew back in the day like around 1998 there were talks when "Annie" from Sunset beach came over.  B. bell also said that B&B are in good standings with CBS, but also ATWT and GL were to before they yell surprise you're cancell. Its hard to say, but it would be smart to go an 1hr with such large cast. The cast is almost the size of a 1hr show. With that said if they do not get better writers before they go 1hr they will be going to soap heven b/c the writing is redunculous.

Maybe they will make her a recast Beth Logan?

I could definitely see her as recast Sally Spectra which I think someone else mentioned on this site a while back but surely there's no room for her on the show in that respect and I would HATE it if they got rid of Lesley-Anne Down!

B&B has a problem though, out of all the soap surely this is the one to most misuse characters and then let them fade off the canvas altogether unless they happen to marry Ridge Forrester?

Kim would make a much better Beth, but I am not sure Zimmer would want to be a recast.  I see Kim coming in and out of B&B.  She'd come in for a story arc, exit, come back in 3 - 6 months etc.  I think she loves daytime, but just isn't sure she wants to be tied down full-time.

i don't know Kim Zimmers' work, but she looks for all the world like a young Kay Chancellor.   I would love to have seen her  on Y&R as Kays' long lost daughter.  Perfect rival for Jill.

Great news for GL fans who are still looking for a new soap!  

Well, judging from my user name, I freakin' ADORE Kim Zimmer, and I would even force myself to watch GH if she ended up there   But i still have this fantasy of seeing her in scenes with Jeanne Cooper, Jess Walton, Tricia Cast, etc etc etc.  But regardless, she should be back on daytime, she's too much of a treasure not to have on our tv's!

I would love for Kim to stay in NY.. with the OLTL family But i know she is probably trying to stay loyal to the Bell Family.. and who knows with Erika, Robin and adding Kim to the mix of Veteran soapsters that would certainly RAKE IN THE VIEWERSHIP .. but then again .. she PROBABLY KNOWS OLTL is ON THE BRINK OF BEING RECASTED WITH A TALK SHOW..
