HomeTVOne Life to LiveOLTL’s Scott Evans: “We Told a Fantastic Story” Luke Kerr March 15, 2010 6 Comments One Life to Live‘s Scott Evans worked the press line at the 21st Annual GLAAD Awards on Saturday in NYC. When about the Kish storyline he responded, I think we told a fantastic story. Of course we feel like there’s always more places it could go. We told an incredible story. It got a lot of great reactions, maybe one or two not so great ones from people who are closed-minded. Now we’re done and moving on and I’m excited to see what’s next in store for me. 6 Responses simone66 March 15, 2010 I wonder if it is worth participating in the campaign to save kish. Scott seems to have moved on. It would be ironic if a miracle does occur and the fans manage to some how convine TIIC to keep the couple and the actors involved don’t want to stay. Then again who could blame them. Log in to Reply siomonstuart2003 March 15, 2010 Good luck Scott and tiic would wish they would of kept them on. Log in to Reply sunnydays25 March 15, 2010 If I were Scott or Brett and the producers called me into their office and said, "sorry, we made a big mistake and are continuing your storyline", I’d tell them, thanks for the opportunity, but I think I’ll pass. Good luck recasting I think they will both be better off castin a wider net than daytime. It will make it better for those staying with OLTL. Reading the ABC forums tell you that a lot of people are unhappy with many storylines and actors on the show. The actors can’t do anything but move on at this point. Look to the future but hopefully, if asked, they would return but longer it takes the less likely it will be. Log in to Reply east.west March 15, 2010 That is my whole attitude about this is too. While I feel for the fans, it’s obvious that even though the actors are upset they are anxious to put this behind them and move on. Given the recent developments it all makes sense. Mass cuts happens. Of course we debate on who the EP cuts, but it happens. I absolutly do not agree w/the logic that is alledge that they are blaming the ratings decline on this couple b/c their press and fans prove otherwise. Given how this has unfolded this is no different than what EPs like Paul Rauch and JFP have done in the past. All fans can do is what we are doing now. Either just accepted it or they fight it, which I think the latter doesn’t serve a purpose in this current state of Daytime.
