Since the only reason I began watching this soap again after so many years is because of Julie Pinson (Janet), ATWT being the "Janet Show" to its end if fine with me.  (Too bad that would also include CarJack as well.  Guess one can’t have their cake and eat it too–all the time!  )  Now if they truly give this marvelous actress some meat instead of baby food to munch on, I’d truly be in 7th heaven!

Yes, the actress portraying Liberty is new.  I had hoped that we would get rid of that ridiculous hat and begin to deal with the cancerous patient’s hair loss and what’s done to combat that.  But no…we get guys who are jealous of one another for whatever reason.  Not a very practical way to deal with a very real problem in today’s society.

That’s fantastic for you but for the rest of us, who have been watching the show for more years than Janet Ciccone has been on, maybe we would prefer to see the people we’ve watched for many years actually get a chance at some storylines and closure before our show is gone. I know I want to see more of the veterans, you know…the established characters, that made the show the 50+ year success it is/was and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone.

As for your mention of CarJack, oh yes, please do excuse the fans of a couple that has been established for almost 13 years  for wanting to see their couple out from the shadow of a character who has been on for less than two and in a relationship with a lead on the show for barely even one.

Now, before you get too offended, just know that I actually like Julie Pinson. I watched her on Days and Port Charles and rooted for her characters every time, so do I have every right to say this just as you do with your opinion as a fan of hers.

Bottom line: I guess I am just not a fan when one character suddenly has control over a whole show, gets their character history re-written more times than a something on a classroom chalkboard, and is disliked by fans and critics alike, no matter who the actor/actress is.
