At a recent event, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont commented on the pros and cons of the stigma that surrounds daytime stars in the media, according to The Salamanca Press. “There is still a stigma associated with daytime television (and) daytime stars,” Diamont said. The panel agreed, however, that there are certainly perks of not being at the pinnacle of pop culture. Soap stars aren’t hounded by paparazzi and tabloids the way other celebrities are. “We get much of the positives that come with celebrity without the negatives,” Diamont said.
