Oh God! NO THE WORLD CANNOT STOP TURNING!
    NO! NO! NO!

(yes, I’m still in heavy denial. Heather Rattray was playing Lily when I started watching so that must have been around 1990 or 1991.)

Still can’t believe this is happening, this was certainly a generational soap. Can we do without the stupid arguments and just enjoy the the end. After 1:00 pm in Kansas all you’ll be hearing on my CBS station will be crickets. They’ve dropped Ellen at 3:00, so I will be watching ABC soaps.

I am hoping to see more of Roger since I haven’t read where he actually is going to another soap. I will miss him and Maura most of all. At least Maura is going to Y&R. I wish Roger would too so I could just start watching that show. I can’t believe this show is ending. I would rather every single show on CBS would end instead of this one. Honestly I don’t watch any other CBS show at all.
So very sad that this show is ending and that it is being replaced by a moronic talk show that I hope no one will watch.
You can bet your bippies I will NOT be watching the Julie Chen bore fest! Ellen comes on at 1:00 here in St. Louis, then I can watch Days, then Dr. Phil, then Y&R comes on a 4 here in St. Louis.

My emotional connection with this show ended years ago. It wasn’t just the bad writing, but also the way they made it clear that actors who were not white would only be used to satisfy some quota system that CBS has in place. Surprisingly, for the first time in years, one actor and character enticed me to watch the show on a regular basis, so I tried to ignore what a mess the show was, but the writers went out of their way to show why ATWT was canceled. I’m sorry for those who are losing their show, but as with GL, the cancellation should have happened a few years ago.

I’m noticing too that the characters who are still around for the ending of ATWT are decidedly monochromatic.

It looks like it will all be wrapped up in a neat little package. That’s nice, but there is a bigger part of me that would love to see some loose strings so I know that the stories will continue on and on and on…except Carly and Jack! :-)
