The Doctors’ Travis Stork Wants to Know Why People Aren’t Watching Friday Night Lights?

As if my DC/PC cohort Regan Cellura didn’t have enough reasons to drool over The Bachelor star-turned-daytime talk show host Dr. Travis Stork, now the hunky E.R. physician has admitted his favorite series is Regan’s beloved Friday Night Lights.

"’Friday Night Lights’ is my favorite show for the last few years. That’s the show that I can’t miss," says Dr. Stork. "I’ve never seen a show that was of higher quality that people didn’t watch."

For more from Stork, where he taks about working two jobs (in addition to hosting the hit syndie talker, he still works the emergency room in a Nashville-area hospital) and more visit our pals at Zap2it.com.

Each episode is like reading another chapter of one of the best books ever. For some reason, I never gripe about the long waits between seasons (because they’re shorter seasons), because I know when it’s back, I will give it my undivided attention. The laptop is put away, the phone is not answered. The plaintive cries of children go unheeded. If anyone plans a home invasion on me, I’m not havin’ it, if FNL is on.

One of my biggest frustrations of this past year is that Zach Gilford did not win an Emmy as Matt Saracen in the episode, The Son, when Matt dealt with the death of his father. Brilliant. That’s all. Brilliant. (Thankfully, Rolin Jones, DID win an Emmy for writing that flawless episode.)
