All My Children and Hot in Cleveland To Feature Crossovers!

Let the games begin!  ABC Daytime and TV Land have decided to team up for a crossover event for All My Children and Hot in Cleveland. On Feb. 16 and 23, AMC’s Susan Lucci, Darnell Williams and Michael E. Knight will make guest star apperances on Hot In Cleveland to mix things up with Wendie Malick’s character Victoria Chase.

Fans of the TV Land smash hit will recall, Ms. Chase doesn’t think too kindly of her soap rival La Lucci. Malick’s alter ego heads over to Pine Valley to play Gertie, an ex-housekeeper who winds up being Confusion’s bartender after getting the pink slip courtesy of Erica.

ABC Daytime President Brian Frons states:

There is only room for one Erica Kane in Pine Valley, and Victoria Chase will unfortunately find that out the hard way.” Frons went on to say, “This is a unique opportunity to raise awareness of both shows with similar demos, and we expect each other’s viewers to follow from one show to the next.”

Larry W. Jones, President of TV Land adds:

“We’re so happy that Victoria Chase will finally get to show ‘All My Children’ fans why she is a soap superstar. “We’re so excited to partner with ‘All My Children’ to bring to life this classic TV form when television worlds collide.”

Malick’s AMC episode airs on Feb. 24.

Sounds like it would make sense. Hot in Cleveland is good. Hey not everyone should be 16. It is nice for me to see my age bracket having a great active good time.

Looks like Brian Frons is finally doing somethomg godd for the soaps, even if it is AMC and not OLTL.
