The Number 2 spot put a smile on my face, if only for the pic and memories of his stint on Y&R alone. Too bad Eddie Winslow's still pretending to be Malcolm Winters. Where is Judy and that damn attic when you need her???

The Number 1 spot just made me sad. I knew while clicking down that she would have the top spot in light of what has happened. TPIC's are douches and don't know how the hell to write for a legacy character like Liz? Right, because a single mother with three children working overtime at her job is nothing to relate to. Eye roll. It's just insulting all the way around, to Becky, Liz, and her fans.

Has there ever been a more handsome man than Shemar Moore on daytime? I do miss starring at him on my tv screen every day. I know he is busy with his night job but maybe he can just go work at Y&R too! I know that's a pipe dream. I caught him on Ellen the other day. He is so personable and good looking, I thought he was gonna switch her straight lol.

Yes Saher89, I'm just disgusted with what they have done to her character, and from the spoilers I've read, it's only bound to get worse. So many are floating around but none of them sound good. She was my reason for hanging on for so long. I tuned back into GH for Michael's confession, because it had been a long time coming, but I have no trouble tuning out again permanently. There's nothing else on this show that catches my interest like it had in the past.

I was watching this video yesterday, a montage of GH in honor of it's 45th anniversary two years ago. It reminded me of how good the show once was. I got chills:

yeah, i completely agree, GHfan-4now, and thanks for the video, it's really great. the good old days of gh, jmo. it's sometimes really nice to have those kind of memories around when things are so bad right now, to remind one that they weren't always so bad, jmo.

GHfan-4now I completely agree with you! You said everything I was thinking. I hate that they not only fired Rebecca, but are making her character so petty and jealous. It is very insulting to her fans. I actually missed all of last week, even though I was waiting for Michael's confession and I didn't have the urge to catch up even once!

Thank you, Kazy! She really was the reason I hung around for so long. Silly me, hoping that she would get a story of her own and be more than a soundboard or someone who would invest and then lose 5 million dollars, or someone so jealous and petty in regards to, of all people, Brooklynn Ashton and her pseudo relationship with Nik. GMAB, TPTB. This is NOT Liz Webber! Not to mention, if all the spoilers surrounding her exit are true, well, talk about shoving that final nail in the already shaky coffin.

Oh it's so sad to see Becky at 1st for her firing at GH. If you show gets a 50% budget cut ... you should have let other people go first. Just not Becky. Still don't understand.

As for Shemar Moore being 2nd. Oh well, I think it's because Eddie Winslow is getting on our nerves and maybe people wanna remember what Malcolm used to be. And hell, I really miss Shemar as Malcolm these days. Sad

I'm glad that Becky will be moving on hopefully to somewhere she's appreciated and valued..GH does not and Elizabeth and Alexis are the longest vets without interruption...Jane and Kimberly left and came back...Guza is writing vets off (on the female side the canvas)if they manage to get a storyline its usually lousy.

The way they have systematically meticously "deconstructed" her character now this firing because of storyline dictated speaks volumes...this is a political maneuver...and I know exactly why it happen...at our "Finally" website we have predicted this for years even disagreeing amongst ourselves. Eliminate the competition write them in bad story its the Frons/Guza way...so I'm not surprised they have done this with 99% of the vets or/and they leave out in a body bag.

Again, Becky's/Elizabeth's problem?

Too popular for her own good, they didn't promo or market her when that didn't do it they wrote her the lousy storyline in all of daytime IMO, when that didn't keep her in her place they fired her firmly away from Jason Morgan they dismantled everything that had to do with their connection next up they'll probably kill off Jake. I agree instead of this why didn't they play up the Jason rivalry "on screen" instead of keeping her as far away from him and have her show up to hand her son over to the baby terrorizer.

It has nothing to do with budget, or storyline dictation they want her gone and them writing a lousy story has nothing to do with either of their reasons. What gets me is no veteran is "the face of GH" two actress from other shows are not even Kimberly is marketed in this way a character who has been with the show since age 6.
