I’m glad you guys said that about Two And A Half Men. The show really has no redeeming value and is just not that funny. And like Luke, I only watch it when there’s nothing else on.

I love your podcasts with Larry, but Jamey you are going to make me start a Days-like boycott if you keep being so mean to Luke. Don’t be a sci-fi snob and try it out. Battlestar, Farscape, and others are great soap! Who’s going to rule the world, who’s sleeping with whom, who’s sleeping with a human looking robot? You’re really missing out! If you loved Buffy and True Blood you’re already into supernatural, so what’s so wrong with sci-fi?

Luke, I do worry about the state of education in Nebraska if you never read Tennessee Williams, but I’m still on your side. Rent “The Long Hot Summer” with Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and Orson Welles ASAP. SMOKING hot chemistry and a great movie.

I would just like to point out that Battlestar Galactica won a Peabody Award, one of the most prestigious awards out there.

BSG was friggin’ awesome, True Blood wishes it was half the show BSG was.

Hey you didn’t give an update on the ABC Blind Item.

Great podcast as usual. I was a bit disappointed that you guys skipped the part about a soap being canceled. Also, Luke is right, the Sci-Fi stuff can go toe to toe with anything else on television right now, especially Battlestar Galactica, and Torchwood.

Don’t sleep on the Sci-Fi, it has better actors than daytime right now. Even that show Legend of the Seeker has better acting than many of the cast of All My Children…and better hair…have you SEEN Greenlee lately? She looks like a rained on cat.
@troymcclure, I’ve heard amazing things about BSG, i just like to give Luke the business. LOL the Blind Item about the paycut?
sorry, not blind item, the big announcement ABCD is abou to make, you didn’t have an update on it and it said so in the description.
Should I just blame Luke for writing the wrong description? LOL

@troymcclure The topic came up when Larry asked Jamey about the latest on the story and Jamey talked about possible concerns at ABC of losing Oprah, Regis plus one or two soaps in the same year.

@troymclure. The latest buzz is ABC is carefully looking at what cutting a soap the same season they lose Oprah and Reege might do branding-wise. It’s really touch and go thru about the first of April. If we make it to the second week in April with no bad news, I will breathe a sigh of soapy relief.

You guys were right call this podcast “Laughin’ It Up,” so many smiles. Thanks guys.
Starr Jones seems like such a sweet woman. Maybe Larry’ll be really kind and let us hear his show on your feed when Starr returns?
Luke, I’ve never actually read any Tennesee Williams eithier, but I really like the movie of The Glass Menagrie. There’s also an audio play starring Callista Flochart that you can hear at http://www.latw.org [LA Theatre Works.]
