HomeTVRicki LakeIs Ricki Lake Returning to Daytime? Luke Kerr April 20, 2011 Ricki Lake, Talk Shows 8 Comments It looks like former talk show host Ricki Lake is working on making a daytime comeback. According to USA Today, Lake has landed a development deal with Twentieth Television for a syndicated talk show that would premiere in the fall of 2012. The program will be based in Los Angeles, and will "present topical conversation reflecting Ricki's own personal journey and recent life experiences, including family, marriage, parenting, divorce, weight loss and overall well-being." I wish her nothing but the best, but I doubt that I’ll be watching!!! Log in to Reply californiaguy888 April 21, 2011 Just what we need ! No offense to Rikki Lake, but this is reminiscent of Lucille Ball announcing her return to the sitcom genre with “Life With Lucy”. Ms. Lake cannot portray herself as a topical young lady any longer. I wish her well. Log in to Reply SandraJea April 21, 2011 didn’t watch her first talk show will not watch this one. Log in to Reply giftofamber April 21, 2011 I don’t watch any talk shows so I won’t be watching this one either. When I was a kid, I’d love staying home from school sick and watching Days and Ricki in the afternoon! Since Rachel is looking forward to the new shows that are replacing AMC and OLTL, it would be great to send her and that terrible show packing back to the Food Network.
