In April General Hospital’sSteve Burton fell out of the Daytime Confidential Top 20 and didn’t even appear among the Top 50 stars we track each month. In May, Burton returns to the DC Top 20 at No. 20.

No. 19: Jeff Branson, The Young and the Restless


The Young and the Restless’Jeff Branson didn’t earn a spot on the Daytime Confidential Top 20 in April. However, he's back in May at No. 19, thanks to the news he’s returning to Genoa City.

One Life to Live’s Robin Strasser revealed on Twitter she was leaving Llanview before OLTL went off the air. That, combined with her Twitter revelation Gina Tognoni would be leaving OLTL early too, helped generate more interest in the star.  Robin Strasser makes her Daytime Confidential Top 20 debut at No. 13.

Since the news broke in August 2010 that As the World Turns’ Maura West was joining The Young and the Restless, West has appeared on the Daytime Confidential Top 20 every month, but April. Word that Y&R fired West helped her leap from No. 30 in April to No. 6 in May.

Former Days of Our Lives star Natalia Livingston became only the second DAYS star (Crystal Chappell being the other) to earn a spot at the top of the Daytime Confidential Top 20 in April. In May she fell one spot to No. 2.

No. 1: Rebecca Herbst, General Hospital


General Hospital’s Rebecca Herbst held court atop the Daytime Confidential Top 20 in January and February 2011. After a two month absence she returns to No. 1 on the DC Top 20. Herbst joins All My Children’sAlicia Minshew, Days of Our Lives’ Crystal Chappell and The Young and the Restless’ Christel Khalil as the only stars to have held the spot for three or more months.
