HomeTVABCAlicia Minshew Open to Recurring on All My Children Jillian Bowe September 15, 2011 14 Comments While it looks like Alicia Minshew won't be signing onboard All My Children's online reboot full-time, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is open to recurring on the sudser. I know they are starting to approach people now. If they were to come to me and ask me to do it [and] if I could work it out where I could maybe be recurring, I could pop in every now and then, I could work with these people that I love and still be a part of this. I would be open to that. To find out what Minshew thinks about onscreen mama Susan Lucci's memoir rewrite click here! Log in to Reply giogio September 15, 2011 did anyone see Cameron Mathison on Good Morning America this morning? He sounds like he will be giving us info as he has just gotten permission to do so. He sounded very encouraging. I do not blame the actors do not want to go move online Log in to Reply DaytimeFan0001 September 15, 2011 I think everyone is a little gun shy. But once they see the show up and running they will be coming back. The thing is- if this show relocates to NY, then who is going to go back!? Log in to Reply jphelps September 15, 2011 I love the headline promoting she’s open to recurring. She clearly said in the interview she’s ready to move on. Is PP supposed to rearrange AMC for AM no offense. Shes also not critical to them keeping Kendall on the show. She ain’t Lucci and she certainly is not Sarah MIchelle Gellar That said I loved her interview and her goals. I think her strengths are definitely not the weepy drama queen they have turned her into but she has a comedic flair about her. She also doesn’t need the check. I wish her a lot of luck and I would actually enjoy her I think on a sitcom. Log in to Reply giogio September 15, 2011 Daytimefan – I didnt hear them moving back here to NY- is that a possibility? Log in to Reply giogio September 15, 2011 Jillian – I just read that Susan Lucci will be on CBS Sunday Morning – to discuss AMC – I wonder what is with the AMC’ers going to CBS – first the guys going to The Talk – now this???? Log in to Reply MsNixon September 15, 2011 No surprise here. Didn’t Jamey break this months ago and Alicia herself called him out and said he didn’t know what he was talking about? I have a sinking feeling that that AMC 2.0 will be comprised of a lot of second tier folks (Maya, Mookie, Randi, Asher, etc.) while OLTL will bring its A list. I hope I’m wrong. Log in to Reply giogio September 15, 2011 Your right MsNixon– also didnt we read recently that Alisha and Chrischell were offered jobs on other soaps but turned it down because they were waiting to see what was going on with PP. All I can say right now is I CANNOT wait until January so all of this speculation is over. They are just taking toooooo long to let their fans know whats going on. After 40 plus years, people want to know what and who they will be wathching. I would say if by next Friday when this show goes off, if we are still speculating, then we are in trouble. I understand about logistics, but dead silence? Its so loud its scarey at this point. Log in to Reply Greeneb2 September 15, 2011 I would love to see Alicia perform comedy. Dying is easy, but comedy is hard! Log in to Reply david46208 September 15, 2011 Too bad we can’t get Sarah to do double duty. That would rock.
