The girls are just flat out WRONG. The OLtL “Look Who’s Talking” gag was *great*! How can you go wrong with two things as cute as Liam and Princess David Vickers? As Jamey said, I give them credit for thinking outside the box and doing something different. I also give credit to Michael Easton for doing such a good job with Liam’s voice. Andrea Evans is always good with silly, comedic stuff and gets to do it much of the time. It was nice to hear (if not see) a different side of the usual dark and twisty Easton.

I don’t understand why anyone questions what purpose or effect on story it had. It was basically filler but it was fun filler. I’d rather see stuff like that than some flashback or characters standing around talking to themselves, recapping what regular viewers are well aware of.

I also liked Spiderman Sam saving Dorian from Echo with silly string. Sam is as cute as Liam and Princess David Vickers.

For what it’s worth, I’m a guy, a rather cynical one. You know it’s good when somebody like me can laugh and smile over cute kids and dogs, not groan.

Also, I rewatched the Cord and Tina scenes, and they, like Todd and Blair, did not kiss due to an interruption.

Thanks for the wonderful podcast. It was difficult to comprehend when people talked over each other but I know Luke tries his best.

    Regarding the posed questions:

    1. I thought OLTL’s homage to “Look Who’s Talking” was cheesy, although the players involved were adorable (also, I adore Sam but strongly disliked his immobilizing Echo with silly string.)

    2. I agree with Jamey and Jillian that all of the shows outside of OLTL need a DAYS 2.O-type reboot. I applaud DAYS for making a successful attempt to improve the show and respect the audience. I am on-board and feel rewarded. GH and Y&R on the other hand seem to make every attempt to further decline and alienate their audiences, both have lost my viewership.

    As always great podcast, guys!!

I actually the whole Look Who’s Talking scene on OLTL, it’s rare so I don’t mind.

I agree with Regan, GH needs a 2.0 bad, do the same thing Days is doing, in GH’s case no more mob, more romance, make the police smarter, and more business storylines. Watch the old episodes of GH and see why it was one of the must see soaps!!!

    Great podcasts, guys!

OLTL – I loved how baby Liam cried when he heard that McBain was his Daddy! It was hilarious! PVD and baby Liam any day of the week versus watching that Pampers/Pullup commercial with those babies doing a diaper full ad..gross.

I’m one of those peeps that loved SpideySam vs Echo with the silly string since it was funny. Now, if Jack or Shane tried the same thing then I would want to smack them upside the head since they should know it wouldn’t keep Echo from escaping.

GH needs a major overall. Maybe Franco should have gone around town leaving dead bodies all over the place starting with the Spencer clan.

great podcast crew! I agree w/ Jamey Young and The Restless 2.5 I would call it…

Fired MAB, Hamner and Hogan and cut the cast. Way too many characters to keep up with and get back to the basics. If you do some returns do some returns from the past, no new characters, or snatch and grabs from canceled soaps.

The Bell family should look into expanding their business portfolio and produce movies for Hallmark. MAB could be executive producer for Bell Family Dramatic Serial Co, Movie department and grab all the former cast of All My Children/ General Hospital/ Guiding Light/ World Turns/ Another World and make movie of the week for the Hallmark Channel.
