I may never have those scenes on DVD, but they are etched into my brain now. Thanks Chrishell!

Besides, in my head, I can put Robin Mattson back into the role of Janet Dillon where she belongs. Wink

My Beloved Pine Valley....I can imagine what she revealed but of course seeing it would have been best. Just another PP screw.

I only want to know if David and Cara and their baby were together in The End! Smile

@AdamDrake: Kate Collins is the one and only Janet. She created the role and gave the character the best storyline ever when she took over Natalie's life. Robin's portrayal had never measured up to an ounce of that.

Sorry, David. She was a fine Janet. She was a better Natalie. You are absolutely wrong about Robin Mattson. She took over the role and made it her own, through the Jane Cox years and through one of the best storylines ever, when Erica, Janet and Antoinette (Skye) buried Jonathan Kinder in Mona's rose garden. I'm not taking anything away from Kate Collins, but Robin Mattson made Janet one of the best characters on AMC! Does anyone else remember rooting for her with Pierce when that idiot Brooke stole him away from her? No, no, no, my friend. Robin Mattson was Janet Green.

Also, bringing back Collins without any explanation for how her appearance suddenly went back to the way she used to be was a real stretch of credibility. Kate Collins should have stayed away from AMC when Natalie died.

imho, of course. Wink

Robin also kissed the sickening bad-breathed Trevor without running to the producers to complain! 8-D

I admire your commitment, but we're just going to have a difference of opinion on this one. That's okay. You make a good argument, but you can't re-cast my brain! Wink

David and Adam - I think the producers went back to kate collins because they went back to the villian that kate collins played and not the three dimensional character that people rooted for that robin matson played. Its like arguing over which is better, apples or oranges. My trouble with kate collins being brought back in the role isnt that they reverted to her old appearance but rather that they reverted to old janet, the janet that never saw any improvement and that trevor never would have tolerated ( and that he never would have turned his back on long enough for her to get the drop on him like that). I hated head in the ice box trevor since the love story of janet and trevor was one of my faves and the revisionist history was one that was hard to stomach. I wanted matson back, but I also wanted her lovable albeit troubled version of the character back and not the version that threw her sister down the well.
