I blinked & it was dropped quickerthanthis they’ve tempted me with this storyline more than once but never follow through…Thorne again becomes Ridge’s lapdog. I guess one B story would be the Rick/Amber designs. Karen was Bill Spencer’s sister when he married Katey…. I’d sign the papers when I’m ready not be coerced but I have a feeling Steffy is going to wind up preggers… also Bill/Steffy did not do the deed he’s always championed her early on starting w/his 12% Forrester stock. Log in to Reply Camp is not a sustainable model February 15, 2012 Days: Christie Clark is not a strong actress. I don’t how she won an Emmy. So while I like the pairing of Rafe and Carrie from a writing perspective, Clark was have got her skills from her on-screen dad Josh Taylor. GH: Jillian ain’t spoke nothing but the truth about that little boy on GH. I’d rather not see us then have us on soaps playing out ghetto urban storylines. Ditto that to Y&R. Y&R: It’s still on-air? I’ve become a soap snob. And play it out like a scene from Dynasty: David: This storyline is bad. Must have been written by Hogan at some point. Maria: I’m sure the Ashby’s story is not too bad for your taste. David: I wouldn’t know. This is Lily/Cane and I prefer Dru and Neil. Maria: Who are you? David: Who am I? You’ll find out very soon. Look you said this was not going to be a meeting to save the show… Well whatever it was. I have never seen anything like that on my local news, mainly because I live in the sticks. So, I know they are truly desperate. They should just cut the show and keep it moving. Log in to Reply soapbaby February 15, 2012 I haven’t listened to the podcast yet but wanted to state that Christie Clark has only been nominated for Emmys but has never been awarded. She may not be a strong actress but Carrie’s never been an interesting character. Still, Ms. Clark held her own in her scenes with Allison Sweeney this week. Sami versus Carrie had been done to death but their scenes this week were really good. Now, Patrick Muldoon has graduated from The Josh Taylor School of Horrible Soap Acting and with top honors! Seriously, casting Josh Taylor as Roman Brady is the worst thing DAYS has ever done. Yep, I said and I mean it. Log in to Reply Camp is not a sustainable model February 15, 2012 @soapbaby: While fans are not often fans of recast. I would go for the gold and recast the role with McKenzie Westmore (ex-Sheridan, Passions). Because I need more than a couple of facial expressions. But then again that is just me. As for holding her own? She underwhelmed me. It was easy to see the difference between Sweeney and Clark. And yes Patrick Muldoon is also very bad. It is just hard to write storylines for “actors” who well…umm… Can’t bring it to the set. And I need it to be brought everyday! Josh Taylor? Ugghh! From now on the Liza D. needs to follow this rule when they are screen testing actors. If they can’t read the phone book and make it sound interesting then tell um “We’ll call you…don”t call us.” Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon February 16, 2012 If they’re keeping Josh Taylor as Roman, they need to only trot him out at family gatherings and when it comes time to arrest criminals. It was painful to watch him in those one-on-one scenes with Will yesterday. Log in to Reply Ms 45 February 16, 2012 I sincerely hope Sarge knows how to read and is versed in rudimentary etiquette standards. Log in to Reply mlauenstein February 23, 2012 Not sure if you guys were watching Days of Our Lives with the sound off, but Alice never knew what was in Stefano’s envelope. And since Stefano’s behind the whole thing, how hard is it to believe these weird rules surrounding the annulment/divorce in Alamainia. I’m sure there’s a reason Stefano had them married in Alamainia. This whole thing’s his plot to get John and Hope to regress to their former selves, so of course it’s not going to be easy for them just to get an annulment.
