Soap-A-Licious: Susan Lucci Books Marc Cherry’s Devious Maids Pilot!

Susan Lucci is on her way back to soaps! Deadline is reporting the legendary suds queen has been cast in Marc Cherry's high profile Devious Maids pilot for ABC. The series will revolve around four maids who are dreaming of a better life, while working for the wealthy in Beverly Hills.

The All My Children legend will play Genevieve Delacourt, a rich, aging sexpot, who is starting to lose her marbles. After years of being a head-turning, maneating stunner, the Beverly Hills housewife is now resorting to going after her Armenian pool boy to prove she's still got it. Can't wait for this!

Marc Cherry better keep his hands off my Erica Kane Martin Cudahy Chandler………okay, I give up! None of this loose hands business like with Nicolette Sheridan, or I will come to wherever you live and whoop your ass

Keep in mind this hasn’t been given the green light as a series yet. I have a feeling the outcome of the Nicolette Sheridan/Marc Cherry trial could have an influence on how soon ABC wants to work with Cherry again.

Congratulations to Susan! I hope this becomes a regular series…it would be fun to have her on TV every week. She posted about this on Facebook on Friday and I was so excited.
