Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney Showcases Bikini-Ready Bod on Cover of Shape

I bet hellcat Samantha Jean Brady would have a few choice words for all those hateful fans who used to send her real-life portrayer Alison Sweeney nasty letters about her weight, early in her run on Days of Our Lives. For Sweeney, looking the way she does on the cover of April's Shape is the best revenge!

The actress/reality TV star/budding entertainment mogul posed for her first-ever magazine cover wearing just a bikini, and from the looks of things, this wife and mom of two tykes should be having tons more revealing love scenes in Salem. You go, Ali!

I love me some Alison Sweeney and Sami Brady. She looks fabulous but that is not her body. Perhaps, heavily digitized and airbrushed and trick-cammed, like most magazine covers. It’s a shame because she is body-beautiful.

I was thinking the same thing, soapbaby, Alison Sweeney has been a bit more curvy, and she’s always looked great!!!

Obviously, this picture is airbrushed. ALL magazine photos are. Anyone who implies otherwise is either naive or lying. But she does look great– healthy and happy! Good for her.

Sorry Jamey theres nothing to be proud of here it’s a false photshopped picture. Is Allison the host of TBL so ashamed of how she looks that she would condone this BS. This is what’s wrong with body image is you have to be skinny to be in. No wonder young girls have body image problems with this BS Hollywood and the self help folks tell us about everything that’s wrong about us not what’s right. I’ve seen my share of teenage girls fighting eating disorders to know what impact this stuff has.

Allison Sweeney as she looks in real life not in this fake picture is a beautiful, fit, curvaceous well endowed woman. What on earth is there to be ashamed of. She should take pride in looking healthy and robust versus projecting something she’s not and that’s false. Major fail to me but I get that men don’t get the body image issues the media and Hollywood forces on women today. I also think she obviously is still insecure about how she was harped on when she was a teen. This was a real chance to stand up and be proud not hide behind a false image.

Count me in as one who thinks this has been retouched to the nth degree.

And not only her body…there’s somethng weird about her face too. I didn’t really recognize her until I read the headline.

I agree…Alison doesn’t need the retouching. I think it’s great she lost some weight, but this photo simply does not look like her.
