RUMOR REPORT: Is Florencia Lozano Checking Into General Hospital?

Ay Dios mio! Could One Life To Live titan Florencia Lozano be heading to General Hospital? According to We Love Soaps, Lozano is on her way to Port Charles as her OLTL character, tough-as-nails attorney Tea Delgado! Reportedly she starts taping this week. Are you excited at the thought of Todd's (Roger Howarth) former wife and Starr's (Kristen Alderson) ex-madrastra stopping by The Floating Rib? Sound off in the comments!

I like Tea, and I think she would fit in at GH, but I would only like to see her on a recurring basis. I must admit that I feel like Llanview is taking over Port Charles. First Starr, which I can only take in small doses. Then Todd, which I am not really a fan of Roger Howerths portrayal, but anyway I can take him or leave him. I liked Blairs interaction with Carly, so I wouldn't mind her coming in on a recurring basis either. The real keeper from Llanview is John McBain. Just the fact that he gets under Sonnys' skin, and has flaming hot chemistry with Kelly Monico is enough to like him.

If you are reading this Carlivati/Valentini, overall I think you are doing a great job, but slowdown with the OLTL cast.

one more oltl - ted king.
he is tomas delgado AND lorenzo alcazar.
There is much story there, especially if Todd and Tea are going to be in PC for the forseeable future.

Wasn't Ted King signed to GH when OLTL was cancelled, or was that just a rumor?

I think FL is a fine actress, but the character of Tea is just gonna always get on this TnB fan's nerves - because if you are a TnB shipper she is SUPPOSED to get on your nerves LOL. The only time I literally have to press "mute" is when she is cooing over Starr - I can forgive Tea many things but NEVER will forgive her for trying, with no good reason, to co-opt Starr from her real mother Blair back in the day. It still pushes my buttons as if it were yesterday. Since I assume she is coming to PC to help Starr I guess I'm gonna be in big trouble!! When Tea calls Starr "Estrella" the heebie-jeebies always take over big time LOL.

It is also hard to see Tea be in PC while the FABULOUS KDP's Blair, for some inexplicable and uncharacteristic reason, is not glued to her grieving daughter and creating all kinds of chaos trying to help Starr get justice and yet not go completely over to the dark side.

The above is also confounding because, to MY mind at least, Todd and Blair being in one another's orbit is cash money. They don't even have to be romantically united - hell, there is nothing new there LOL - but that kind of insanely potent chemistry cannot be bought sold or predicted. It blows my mind that of all the things that could be borrowed from OLTL to bring the ratings, this guaranteed golden ticket is not being utilized.

Perhaps I just need to be patient, but with the likelihood of cancellation looming, it is much more difficult than it normally would be.

I just noticed that all the above makes me sound like a totes OLTLer and not a GHer - but I have been both for nearly 20 years. I took a vaca from GH for the past year for reasons I don't think I need to press LOL, but am back to plug in and show support. I am not the only one waiting to see what Ron and Frank can pull together - and I am trying really REALLY HARD to be patient LOL!! It is clearly already much much improved - but nothing has me truly hooked yet.

The only OLTL'ers on the show are Starr & John. They are the only 2 that have been on for about a month now, and apparently Todd won't be coming until May (which is a month away), so why exactly are ppl complaining about there being too many OLTL ppl on GH when there are exactly only 2?? LoL. Ppl just want something to complain about. Todd & Blair were on for like 5 days a month ago, why would you still complain about that? When they come back & eat the show, then yes, by all means complain then, but as is we must be talking about GH a month ago b/c right now, Starr & John make 2. (And really, if it wasn't Starr it would be another Abbey b/c Micheal is apparently a core part of this show & he will need a love interest... and I for one am grateful its Starr, at least she is the right age-- I just wish they hadn't killed off her baby, Carly would have died!).

Miry, you are so much more eloquent than me. If I may, I cosign your entire post.

I really dont understand the rational behind killing Hope, a child whose existence I never wanted or enjoyed, but like Starr she was a Cramer, Lord, Manning plus she was the grandchild of one of my faves, Marty Saybrooke. I reiterate the point that Starr is rich as in born into tons of cash but also in familial support, Hope should never have been in that car in the 1st place.

Starr may have the financial means to hire a baby sitter for Hope while in PC, but I guess Ron decided it was too much of a burden while she and Michael eventually make goo goo eyes at each other. It would have been just as easy for us to have seen Cole/Hope escape the car right before it went over the ledge with Starr inside. We still could have had the AZ scene but with Cole/Hope. Cole disappears with Hope because he's afraid of going back to prison, but not before notifying Blair about the car accident that took Starr's life. The whole vengeance stuff with Sonny and Todd could still play out while an alive Starr is rescued without any memories by "fill in the blank" as a means to get rid of Sonny once and for all. Starr could be kept against her will and ends up accidentally being rescued during May sweeps by Michael.

Sonny would have spent weeks in prison for Starr's death while the rest of us GH fans celebrated. Party

My guess is that she is just going to PC for a day or two to explain to Starr how her father was exonerated in his trial, ushering in RH's return to the show on a more permanent basis.

I could see Ron and Frank bringing a series of OLTL characters over to GH for a couple of days at a time to see who meshes and who doesn't. I love both Blair and Téa, but if I had to choose one of them to be offered a contract, my vote is for Kassie DePaiva. Besides, it would give GH a little more diversity, since Blair is Asian. Wink

@otalia4ever: What baby? If you mean Jasam's I say let her keep the baby & bring Jake back, and let there be a dynamic there to play out. Jason being torn between both women-- hey, the fanbases have spoken & they want them some Liason!, so even though I prefer JJ's Lucky to be with Liz, mamma didn't raise no fool, I'd give the fans what they've wanted for years, while STILL playing up the other side (the Jasam side). I would have Sam & Liz interact and try to figure out if they want their kids to actually be siblings (oh the drama there!). And if GH lasts for longer than a year, there could even be a dynamic to play out between the kids themselves (ala Jason & AJ--- I personally cannot wait for Morgan to come back, hating both Sonny AND Michael). If you mean Starr's baby, see below.

@maxsmom: Aww, of course you may (& thank you!), but I say rubbish, you are more than eloquent enough! And I totally co-sign your post! They should have had it to where Michael was able to only save Hope (that would have still left plenty of guilt for him to wallow in, lol), and then they could have a connection over that... Michael would feel a connection to Hope b/c he saved her he would want to be a part of her life & protect her (so no more mob for him! he would actually give it up for her, something that Sonny would never do) and Starr could be drawn to him b/c he saved her daughter & b/c of his love for Hope (he would want to spend time with her, etc.), and that growing attraction would of course be marred (for the both of them) by Cole's death. THAT would be an epic, young adult love story. Tie in the fact that Todd hates Sonny (as does Starr) b/c they blame him, Starr has a baby & Carly's head would explode b/c she'd think Starr was trying to be a young her (the difference of course being that Starr actually has money & comes from TWO wealthy families so she doesn't NEED anything from Michael, & Carly came from the trailer park) and she would enlist Jason to stop their union, not realizing of course the parallels with Jason/Carly & how Jason came to be soo attached to Michael in the first place. Oh, and not to mention that Todd is a one-time rapist, and Michael having been the victim of rape would obviously have a hard time (of course some of these things will still play out on screen, but I think it would have been better had they left Hope in the equation).
And other thing that bothers me: NO ONE really mentions how this is now the SECOND time that Starr has lost Hope. I mean, Starr should be snorting crack right now due to her desperation over losing Hope AGAIN (Starr thought Hope had died after she was born, and she & Cole thought that & grieved for almost a year until the truth was finally revealed and she got her baby back).
@liason4real: I could have totally been on board with that storyline as well! Esp. with Sonny in prison! Wink
They just really shouldn't have killed off legacy characters Hope AND Cole (even in my above scenario, Cole isn't really dead, his father & mother found him & took him to nurse him back to health, & b/c if ppl found out he was alive he would be sent back to prison. I would have him come back 2-3 years with a new face or something to reclaim his family, a family that has already moved on! dun, dun, dunnnn).

Miry,,, I liked your story idea! Carly's head would have exploded as she watched Michael bonding with Hope and then years later here comes Cole!

Then do we get Daniella, too? Whatever her name was. Or is she just going to college in Barcelona. Or Amarillo--for P&G people.
GH isn't managing the actors they have on the canvas now, I fail to see how all these additions, and duplications, help. Alexis is already "the lawyer", goofy as she may be.
John McBain, yeah, I'm good with that.
I have a hard time justifying the others.
But then I'm not writing the show so what's it to me. I just don't watch anymore.

TvGord, KDP can be the first hire for the revived Asian Quarter.
Miry, how soon can you get an interview with FV, your story is miles and away better than what's happening. I am waiting for the summer before getting too critical but in addition to a bad start for Starr/Michael, Sam's pregnancy is a chance for fans like me who just havent ever warmed to Sam to connect via pregnancy, hell I can talk to a stranger for an hour about pregnancy but this: is it Franco's and was she raped is the continuation of the worst of Wolf and now lying to Jason about the information she found while bonding with John. I dont think Sam and Jason are a good match but I would want them to come to that conclusion without a 3rd party. I do think it's interesting that I find McBam more interesting that I have ever found either McBain or Sam individually but I'd like an interesting pregnancy story which doesnt mean a crisis of the week pregnancy just a realistic one.

@maxsmom: Hahaha, thanks!! ...We'll I'm on my Spring Break now, so I am available! ..Or he could just jump on here & use my ideas, I am TOTALLY cool with that & give my full permission. Wink
And I agree with you about the prego storyline. It is the perfect way for ppl who don't like Sam to warm up to her. I felt for Sam when she lost Baby Girl McCall, so I would like to see her be happy about this baby & start planning for it, going to the sonogram/hearing its heartbeat, etc. I mean, a few scenes of that SURE wouldn't hurt her character (I am STILL trying to get over how she treated Patrick a few weeks ago... let me just tell you that McBam! is definitely helping). I mean, as it is I can't really tell if SHE even wants this baby!? It's all about Jason, and that he is finally going to get to be a father, & blah, blah... I mean, she joked that it would be better if she ran her car into a tree. That stuff ain't endearing her to me, lol. I want her to show some joy over this miracle that she got (& yes, I understand that it might be a rapebaby, but at the same time it might not be & she is not even showing that side). Even if it's just a little bit (I am talking just ONE scene where she talks to the baby or dreams about her or hears the heartbeat or something).
