One Life to Live's Brittany Underwood and Days of Our Lives' Cody Longo Dish Nick-at-Nite's Hollywood Heights!

Clever TV recently caught up with One Life to Live alum Brittany Underwood and her castmates from Nick-at-Nite's upcoming soap opera Hollywood Heights. As previously reported, Hollywood Heights is an English-language adaptation of the popular Mexican telenovela Alcanzar una Estrella (Reach For a Star).

The music industry-set sudser centers on Loren (Underwood) an aspiring songwriter and high school student, who makes an intense connection with rock star Eddie (Days of Our Lives' Cody Longo). Melissa Ordway and Justin Wilczynski, seen above with Underwood, Longo and the host, round out the core cast for the 80-episode, daily drama, set to premiere this summer.

Hollywood Heights is being helmed by veteran daytime suds producer Jill Farren Phelps and the most famous FOJ (Friend of Jill) ever, James Franco, will guest on the serial.  Long-time daytime soap scribe Josh Griffith is writing the project. I cannot wait to see how Hollywood Heights turns out! Watch the Clever TV interview after the jump.

Who the hell did Cody Longo play on Days? Must have been a blink and ya missed him type character! I sure as hell don't recall him! (And I pay attention to most hot guys!)

He played Nicholas Alamaine as part of his mother Carly's dreadful addiction storyline. He didn't exactly deliver an award-worthy performance.

Thanks, SA! I do remember him now but he was on so briefly I never bothered to learn the actor's name!
