GH BYTES: I’d really like to see Sonny enter an anger management program. At the very least, he could use a therapist like Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) had. The last time he went in for counseling, because of Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), it didn’t work out so well. However, it could be good for him to relax on a therapist’s couch and work out some of his issues.
Sonny to Kate/Connie: “Shut up, I don’t give a damn about you anymore. You are a faithless whore to me. Don’t you see that he’s using you? Can’t you see that?”
Why in scenes opposite Sam (Kelly Monaco), does Jason (Steve Burton) have the same vacant look on his face that Michael (Chad Duell) walks around with every day? I want to feel for Jason, but I just can't sympathize.
Sam's not going to be able to explain McBain getting the DNA test done for her to Jason.
McBain (Michael Easton) and Max (Derk Cheetwood) need to go on a comedy tour together.
Liason got a scene! Sure, it was Jason asking her to identify a picture of John McBain, but I’ll take it.
Y&R BYTES: The moment Lauren (Tracey Bregman) says she’s not going to let Daisy (Yvonne Zima) get to her, she walks into the boutique. No wonder Lauren is losing it.
I’m convinced clown college drop outs write Daisy’s dialogue.
Does anyone look more amazing pulling a gun than Lauren Fenmore?
That Katherine is one sharp broad. Harmony’s (Debbi Morgan) excuses about Neil aren’t passing her smell test.
It would be nice if they gave Sofia (Julia Pace Mitchell) something more to do other than sit there and smile. Sure, she suspects Neil (Kristoff St. John) of stepping out on her, but I’d like to see her spend more time on offense. Fight for your man, Sofia!
B&B BYTES: Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Hope (Kim Matula) to go to Aspen with Liam (Scott Clifton). Mother knows best.
Rick (Jacob Young) wants to go to Aspen with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), instead of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) going to research her new ski line (and mess things up for Liam and Hope!). These Forrester Creations squabbles are always so much fun!
Steffy: “Feud with my father. Feud with Thomas if you must, but do not get in my face about your sister or anything else.”
Rick: “Or what?”
Steffy: “You seem to believe you can scratch and claw your way up to the top. It’s really sad and delusional. My father is in charge and he’s not going anywhere. You want to know another thing? I’m part owner too, so neither am I.”
It seems The Bold and the Beautiful can’t decide which hairstyle Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) looks best in.
On this week’s Daytime Confidential podcast, I askedJillian Bowe if she’d like to see a Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Steffy pairing. What do you think of the idea? I think they could be hot.
Liam and Bill (Don Diamont) continue to be the best father/son duo currently in soaps, bar none. I’m enjoying them as much as I once enjoyed Adam Chandler (David Canary) and JR.
DAYS BYTES: I love anything and everything Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) do these days. Their scenes are packed with so much history and they still ooze chemistry. Sami offered Lucas a job at Countess W. After hearing Kate’s threat to bring down Sami, Lucas decided to take her up on the offer. This is going to be so much fun!
Thanks to Kate (Lauren Koslow), word is spreading quickly through Salem about Lexie’s (Renee Jones) terminal illness. If being co-CEO of Mad World doesn't pan out, Kate would make a great town crier.
In classic Days of Our Lives fashion, Abe (James Reynolds) overheard Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) asking himself if he is responsible for Lexie’s tumor. With that kind of tease, tomorrow promises to be good!
Not enough Will (Chandler Massey) for my liking this week.
