Been wondering what multi-soap veteran Michael Tylo has been up to since we saw his Quint reunite with Nola (Lisa Brown) on Guiding Light? Apparently the actor is now on staff at UNLV's film school in Las Vegas, and is appearing in a flick called Stealing Las Vegas, helmed by his fellow faculty members.

Another soap alum, Eric Roberts (Another World, The Young and the Restless) stars in Stealing Las Vegas as Alex Stratholme, "a greedy Las Vegas casino owner who steals $20 million from his employees' pension fund."  This causes the movie's protagonist Nick (Ethan Landry) to organize a group of fellow casino employees to exact revenge, by robbing Roberts character's gambling den.

Tylo appears in the film as Berk Rockett. Sounds like the screenwriter is definitely a soap fan! Stealing Las Vegas was produced by legendary B-movie god Roger Corman. The movie debuted this past week at Vegas Film Fest, and will be shown at other film festivals ahead of a DVD release. Are you excited to check out Tylo and Roberts in Stealing Las Vegas? Sound off in the comments!

One of the best course he teaches is the Acting for Soap Opera class. LEARNED a lot and got to study with old Y&R scripts and Guilding Light scripts.
