B&B BYTES: Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) took an oblivious Thomas (Adam Gregory) home to meet her family. A short case of mistaken identity ensued, before Crystal Chappell made her debut as Dani. However, because he wasn’t told the truth, Thomas continued to ask where Caroline’s father was. Friday’s The Bold and the Beautiful should be very interesting.

What did you think of Chappell’s debut on B&B?

Amber (Adrienne Frantz) continued to profess her love for Rick (Jacob Young).  Unfortunately for Amber, he is done with her.  He told her the company and his family are off limits to her. He even went so far as to tell her to leave her child with Marcus (Texas Battle).

Amber: “You remember this, Rick Forrester. I am the best damn thing that has ever happened to you.”

Hope (Kim Matula) revealed to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) what Amber had pulled, both the pills and her talents with Photoshop. Needless to say, Brooke wasn’t happy. We all know where this is headed.

Y&R BYTES:The Young and the Restless has found a keeper in Blake Hood as Kyle Abbott. While I enjoy the father/son relationship of Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam (Scott Clifton) Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, because of the fun the two seem to be having in their scenes, I enjoy Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle’s scenes for a different reason. There is a depth to Jack and Kyle’s relationship, from which both actors pull. While I’ve never cheered Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) reunions, I’m hoping for Jack and Kyle to come together soon.

Daisy (Yvonne Zima) to Daniel (Michael Graziadei): “The last time I lived with you, I pulled some crap you weren’t too happy about.”

You think Daisy, you think?

Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) to Victor (Eric Braeden): “You are not listening to me and neither is Nikki!"

Victor: “This is about Nikki?”

Katherine: “Once and for all, the two of you need to stop the crap!”

DAYS BYTES: Once again, Sami (Alison Sweeney) made someone else’s problems all about her. EJ (James Scott) tried to drive home the point, but upon returning home Sami made Will’s (Chandler Massey) revelation he’d went to Marlena (Deidre Hall) first all about her. Unfortunately, Sami dug herself into a deeper hole by revealing she talked to EJ before returning home to talk to Will.

Lexie (Renee Jones) and Abe (James Reynolds) got half of Salem excited, by telling them they were taking them on a trip to Paris, only to have a doctor put a stop on the plan. Apparently, the trip would have had a bad effect on Lexie’s already short life expectancy.

Meanwhile, John (Drake Hogestyn), Bo (Peter Reckell), Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) took on a gun smuggler by paying for his guns and then using them against him.

GH BYTES: Tea (Florencia Lozano) and Starr (Kristen Alderson) prepared for her appearance in court.  I read so much about people disliking Tea’s maternity dress on Thursday’s episode, I was expecting an atrocity. Instead, I liked her outfit. What did you think of it? Did you love it or hate it?

Unfortunately, for Starr (Kristen Alderson) her bail was denied. What will happen to Port Charles’ little cherub now, and where was Blair (Kassie DePaiva)? I do not believe Blair would have missed Starr’s court date.

Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie’s (Jen Lilley) parallel confessions about Matt (Jason Cook) being the killer continued, flashing back and forth between them. I liked the technique.

Todd (Roger Howarth) offered Sonny (Maurice Benard) a deal, but Sonny wasn’t interested.  For a bit I almost worried we’d see Todd and Sonny team up.

I love Jane Elliot as Tracy Quartermaine. Her fantasies about how to kill Anthony (Bruce Weitz) were hilarious. Then, when Luke (Anthony Geary) prevented her from going through with her plan, I saw a flash of the Luke and Tracy I once loved. I can’t wait to see what Luke has up his sleeve.

Tracy to Luke: “Cut the crap!”

Mirror mirror on the wall, Kate Howard (Kelly Sullivan) hasn’t escaped Connie at all!
