I hope this get's figured out after one or two weeks.

but i fear it'll drag on till the very last episode of GH on the air, just like Liam and Jessica's paternity on OLTL.

"The outcome NO ONE was expecting!"

Hyeah. Right.

I can't believe they're going to go the baby switch route. On the verge of cancellation, and they can't bring themselves to dream up an original idea. This is really depressing.

It's just more recycling of Ron Carlivati's greatest hits...most of which weren't that great the first time around.

Yawn. Heather causing people I can't stand pain will be the only reason I pay attention to this storyline.

Blech.

I love Tea, but she should have flown back to Llanview once Starr was out of jail.

Heather has taken on the role of OLTL's Marty Saybrooke and will now commence to taunting Sam about her "baby" and other BS. Blech. It looks like my FF button will be getting a work out!

Is it time for Sam to have the baby, in terms of it won't be a premature birth?

@jthawk

the timeline is all wonky because she only found out 5 weeks ago that she was pregnant.

RC said via twitter that Sam is giving birth in "soap" time and the baby was Franco's. I thought it was a load of BS, but since no one had any idea if GH was going off the air in September and OLTL's Tea was due in early June, RC decided on a lame baby switch, dead baby or other baby nonsense story line.

I am really tired of baby story lines.

I may be in the minority, but this looks like fun. Story ideas may be recycled in soaps, but it's the characters involved that change the story and the reactions. The children of two sociopath dads. If only we had another 10 - 20 to see these kids grow up. I was kinda hoping Tea would have twins, to have another generation Victor Jr. / Todd.

When was the last time any character on any soap had a (relatively speaking, of course), "happy"/kinda/sorta normal pregnancy? Or is
"happy"/kinda/sorta normal just old fashioned and boring? I know, I'm asking for too much... Innocent

Lame, stupid, repetitive, unimaginative, ridiculous, anything else?

SuperHeather strikes again!

I am actually kind of excited about this storyline! Somehow I like that Tea & Sam are in each other's orbits. Normally I don't even like Sam but now that she has interacted with John & Heather she is more tolerable. I hate her with Jason. All I'm saying is that neither of those babys better die! That would be a disgrace.

you expect something less than soapy on the last abc soap?

while I hope this doesn't drag out as well, just think of how good Robin Mattson is going to be with this plot--when was the last time any soap used someone truly crazy this well (probably since Janet was well written on All my children). Mattson could give hannibal lector a run...come to think of it, maybe they'll go for a hansel and gretel plot twist????
And for those who complain about the shifts on GH--when was the last time that actors of all ages had steady story lines? need to pull edward in, but its not just the vets vs newbies, or gh vs oltl folks--there are actual multigenerational story lines and that is what is going to pull GH out of all mob all the time

Sam got pregnant at the end of September and found out she was pregnant right before CHRISTMAS. She told Jason while they were trimming their CHRISTMAS tree. It is now JUNE. SOME of you people really need to get a calendar. Or just pay better attention. It just sounds like Sam hate.

I agree. I'm NOT looking forward to another baby switch. Whether you like Sam or not, she has already endured enough trauma to last a life time. Why does she need to suffer any more?

Let her have HER damn baby, let Jason hold it and fall in love, then get them the hell off my screen for a couple months.

Enough is enough!

Wow so it's Sam hate because some people are wondering about timeline...can we say reaching for straws

Not everything is rooted in Sam hate.

Oh joy...another storyline surrounding sam...

I am all for Sam having her baby in a peaceful way if it takes her out of the limelight. A baby switch just gives that particular airhog more air to hog.

And I agree with Ravennite's post.

Although my particular post is definitely rooted in my passionate dislike for the character of Sam and her constant presence on my screen. Wondering about the timeline doesn't mean someone hates Sam. Let's be real here, GH doesn't exactly have a stellar history of keeping to a logical timeline.

Also I love how the preview says it is the "outcome nobody expected." Come on now, everyone is expecting it.

They better not screw with Tea and Victors baby!

and ugh to another baby switch storyline what does Heather have against Tea? And wouldn't she want Sam to have Franco's child since she dislikes her?

This storyline will inter-act a lot of characters together, Heather, Todd, Tea, Sam, Jason, John, the Quartermaines, and isn't that what soaps were always about? And, if Victor (Trevor St.John), eventually appears alive, it will add more into the twist. Down the line, there will be a lot of emotional scenes ahead when the truth comes out. I just hope the show will last long enough. But in the meantime, I intend to enjoy every minute of the show and ignore all the complaints on-line, which are nothing but a downer to the show. I intend to support it to the end because soon, there will be no more soaps on TV and we will miss them!!11

My feelings have changed dramatically since I started watching GH again (when the Llanview folks started showing up). At first, I was, 'give them a chance', but now I don't see them adding anything innovative to the mix. They're all just doing the same ol' same ol'. It doesn't help that I bought into the rumors that Ron was being brought in to get rid of the mob storylines, but it doesn't seem as though that's in the plans at all.

Right now, this just feels like a combination of The Sopranos Lite and Llanview Llite, and none of it is working for me. And I'm not planning to stick around for another tired baby-switch storyline. My days with my final soap are numbered...

I love this. Now the GH "fans" are bitching about storylines that are only being hinted at in promos.

(I don't know why I'm surprised .. they complained about the new Kristina after seeing her on screen for only 5 seconds.)

Why don't they just cancel the show already and put everyone out of their misery. ReRon is living up to his name.

TV Gord, I don't remember reading any rumors about RC weeding out the mob eliment. If anything, I remember him giving an interview and saying that the show wouldn't change too drastically (which I just assumed meant that the mob would still be there). I'm okay with the mob guys still having stories, but I just want something new. I was hoping for some Q rebuilding as they're my all time fave soap family, that Guza destroyed. My biggest gripe about RC is that there are so many stories he brought to GH that he just wrote on OLTL. I wasn't a OLTL viewer and even I know about these stories, the DID stories, the baby switches, and now a reality show with Kristina and her family? Also a story from OLTL. It's like he's just recycling all of his plots. There are some things I'm enjoying, but it really disappointed me that he couldn't come to GH with fresh ideas, especially when everyone was raving about how fun and soapy he was. I'm still waiting for the fun stories to kick in, almost everything is still so gloom and doom (aside from the Weekend at Bernie's knockoff last week which was played for laughs). It's hard to keep watching a show where everyone is always so fricken miserable all the time.
