Guiding Light Alum Laura Bell Bundy Joins Season 2 of Hart of Dixie!

Look out, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Lemon (Jaime King). A new belle is coming to Dixie — Hart of Dixie that is! THR is reporting former Guiding Light actress Laura Bell Bundy will be joining the second season of The CW's Southern dramedy.

The singer/actress is slated for at least two episodes as Shelby, a potential new love interest for George (Scott Porter). Here's hoping this means Zoe will finally come to her senses and choose Wade (Wilson Bethel)!

Are you excited to see the former Marah Shayne Lewis on Hart of Dixie? Sound off in the comments!

Another true “Triple Threat” talent. Always loved her as the “dead ringer” look alike daughter of KZ’s Reva on GL. I never understood why they replaced her with Lindsay What’s her name. (Was it McKeon? Sorry I really don’t remember her name. Just like I don’t care to remember her acting.) LBB had the last laugh landing/creating the lead in the Broadway version of “Legally Blonde” as well as Amber in “Hairspray”. Good to see her resurfacing… 0:)

I also preferred her as Maura. Sometimes I just don’t understand the reasoning of tptb. She was good in the role. Instead of sticking with an actress who fit the role. They wanted to recreate the role and make Maura a slut. That is what happened. Remember? I cannot picture this actress, at the time, having an affair with Jeffrey, her mother’s boyfriend. Remember. That is why soaps slipped. Decisions were crazy.

She is a very good actress. She has had success in music field with releases also. Awesome video. I saw her guest star on a show also but can’t remember the name of the show.

Of course she is older now so it will be interesting to see what she does with this role.

LBB is my girl…she should bring her Shocantelle character to Blue Bell (check out the Youtube vids they are hilarious).
I wouldn’t mind her becoming a regular and that awful Lemon being written out.
