HomeTVGeneral HospitalWill Jerry Jacks Wipe Out Port Charles on General Hospital? Luke Kerr August 21, 2012 General Hospital, General Hospital Spoilers, Promos & Previews, Soap Opera Spoilers 25 Comments Will Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Josslyn be the only ones left once Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) is done with Port Charles on General Hospital? Some how I doubt it. I mean, you can't have a soap with one sexually frustrated lawyer and a toddler, right? Personally, I’m more interested in finding out what the heck Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is doing with Joe Jr. (Richard Steinmetz)! Watch the latest General Hospital promo after the jump. 25 Responses Jon August 21, 2012 Joe Jr just got a lot more interesting to me without a shirt! Log in to Reply curacaoman August 21, 2012 This is not the way to get out of the ratings toilet! Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 August 21, 2012 Oh poor Tracy. And there some thought she couldn’t do worse than Luke Spencer. Well there you have it. Joe Scully has to get off the screen ASAP. Other than that I have to confess that I expected more from Ron & Frank than a virus storyline for their move in September. Disappointing. Log in to Reply DonnyA2001 August 21, 2012 I am actually really excited about this story. I think it looks great. Hated the cheesy scream at the end of the promo, but the story will be great. Joe Jr. does look good without a shirt Log in to Reply Ryan-Scott August 21, 2012 Guza did a story like this already….sigh…. Log in to Reply CTwildheart August 21, 2012 I am looking forward to the story and how it plays out. YES, others have done similar storylines, so what? Give it a shot. Log in to Reply elvara August 21, 2012 I’m willing to give it a chance. Hey, I’m actually watching the show right now so It can’t be that bad. Joe Jr. and Tracy…I like. Log in to Reply doctormo77 August 21, 2012 The GH Monkey virus storyline was a hoot! I can picture the drive-by shooting outside of GH involving Jason. Jerry Jax is a go big or go home type of character. So this virus storyline fits in his wheelhouse. We all know that Jerry is about the money. This storyline is clearly the setup for a much bigger one. The question one should be asking is the identity of Jerry’s boss! Yes, we have seen a virus storyline before. The nice thing about this is Frank and Ron’s trademark umbrella storyline. Clearly the virus arc is going to ignite the various other storylines that have been simmering. I have a feeling this story is going to dove tail into the search for Robin. Log in to Reply JasamForever August 21, 2012 The actor that plays Joe Scully can’t act at all, and needs to go pronto! And him possible being involved romantically with Tracy makes me want to hurl. She so deserves better. As an actress and also for her character. Log in to Reply nysam August 21, 2012 Get ready for Monday’s episode! Most of you who have watched GH for years are going to go crazy in a good way when you see who show’s up at the end to “rescue” Robin. A MAJOR blast from the past. Log in to Reply iowaninmn August 22, 2012 I think there have been more than a couple virus/outbreaks/whatever over the last 49 years. There was the Lassa Fever outbreak in the late 70’s, which I have only read about — I think it was the storyline that got Rick Webber and Monica together. Then there was the virus that Holly unleashed on Port Charles maybe 7 or 8 years ago??? Tony Jones died from it … stupid, stupid story. I think they killed off a few more people too. Am I forgetting any viruses??? Log in to Reply J Bernard Jones August 22, 2012 Am I forgetting any viruses??? Log in to Reply ANGELWENDY15 August 22, 2012 I am just not liking this whole Jerry Jacks/virus storyline. This is not the way to improve the ratings. I had such hope in Frank V. and Ron C. They started out so good and now the last 2 weeks the story-lines have been bizzare and boring. I just can’t take to the younger cast, Trey, Starr. Micheal, and Kris. They just are not good actors and the dialogue and endless boring scenes with them are torture.Where is the romance? Unfortunately, all the soaps seemed to have forgotten about that. Enough with the crazy story-lines already. I want to see Sam and John slowly make a relationship together, or continue with the Jason /Liz story. Where is Anna? I want to see the vets! Even the character of Johnny has gotten boring. He was so much better with his darker side and when grandpa Anthony was alive. Watching him and Starr talk for a couple of scenes was a big bore. The other stories were barely so-so. Right now, with the current stories supposedly building to one big umbrella conspiracy, I am finding it difficult to put up with the smaller auxiliary plots, such as the teens and their melodrama. Did Kristina’s abusive boyfriend of a couple of years ago beat all the smarts out of her or did Yale do that to her. She has devolved into a twit, and not an entertaining one. Starr is just too precious for words. Trey lacks credibility; he just doesn’t work as Joe Jr.’s son. Trey is just a little too wholesome and gullible. Kate and Sonny should be on their honeymoon and off the show at best or off the screen at the least. They are not needed at all and take away from other stories. In fact, I am finding most of the “love stories” to be tedious and boring with nothing new to say or show. The only exception to this is Luke and whoever he is involved with at any given time. Luke’s relationships generate fun as opposed to typical soap opera melodrama. When is Carly going to get her skanky, self-involved hind end away from Johnny Zaccara? Johnny is a mess right now and doesn’t need to be shacking up with a woman old enough to be his mother. Is this all tied to his disasterous relationship with Claudia, his sister-mother? I almost felt sorry for Todd yesterday when Carly gave him the brush-off when Johnny arrived at the hospital to see Joss. WHERE IS JAX? He really needs to be in PC to remind Carly that she is still married and she is endangering their daughter, not that Jerry Jax hasn’t already done enough of that. Speaking of Jerry Jax – he is always entertaining with his amoral attitude and actions. I’d like to see him interact with Heather Webber. I’d like to see some interaction between Heather and Joe Jr. Log in to Reply Dariclone August 22, 2012 This looks amazing, like an awesome scifi/thriller! I can’t wait to see Joe Jr. trying to get with Tracey. Log in to Reply J Bernard Jones August 22, 2012 So, if the ratings (continue to, with their up and down ways) improve with this umbrella storyline that will eventually center itself in the hospital on a show called “General Hospital,” what then? Log in to Reply J Bernard Jones August 22, 2012 ENGRADYPIND: I just want to be clear: you LIKED Casey the Alien but you thought Luke & Laura on the run, Mikos Cassadine freezing the world, the Aztec Princess storylines, Lassa Fever, the Metro Court Hostage Crisis were only so-so? I’m NOT criticizing you at all, but that is THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER heard or read that! LOL Log in to Reply CTwildheart August 22, 2012 You guys are TOO funny! I love it! [/quote] Laura Wright is barely 9 years older than Brandon Barash. How exactly would that make her “old enough to be his mother”? Log in to Reply engradypind August 24, 2012 Yes, I liked all of that, especially The Alien. That was the first time we met Faison, wasn’t it? He was living on Spoon Island at Windemere and had a grudge against Anna. I thought that story was preferable to to what was going on at One Life to Live about the same time with daughters being born in other realities. I hated the MetroCourt crisis, even though the manner in which it was programmed was interesting. The Ice Princess reminded me of a 1950’s B movie. The Aztec Princess was silly. Luke and Laura on the run was fun. All of these are preferable to more Sonny Corinthos and the M-O-B. I’ve been watching GH since the beginning. Some decades have been better than others. The introduction of Luke Spencer made the show much more watchable. The flood of mob criminals caused by Sonny and his playmates has not been entertaining at all. I wish the current disaster story did not involve Jerry Jax who at some point went from being a lovable scoundrel to a full fledged moneygrubbing psychopath. I wonder how he got along with Franco, another character who has corrupted and contaminated the show with disgusting filth. Log in to Reply Jewelie August 24, 2012 I wasn’t aware GH was in a ratings toilet..also I’m shocked that anyone who would dislike every major GH storyline say over the past 20 plus yrs would continue to watch this show. Really shocked. Log in to Reply WiseMocha August 24, 2012 Well, I’m definitely looking forward to this storyline, because RC/FV are great at featuring an entire canvas with one main plot. For those calling for romance, nothing brings two people together like believing you’re about to croak. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
