This week on Y&R, Tucker (Stephen Nicholas) discovers he’s been sandbagged.Karma is apparently a bitch named Sharon (Sharon Case). Watch this week’s Y&R promo after the jump! 26 Responses CarlyCfan September 24, 2012 It’s going to be a hot mess. I can’t wait lol. Log in to Reply Yoryla September 24, 2012 This promo could have been WAY better. The “shut the front door” thing is so stupid! (Does anyone else think Abby is gonna say “Shut the f*** up!” LOL) So is the “all I can say is wow” by PHYLLIS? Of all people. NOT TO MENTION showing Victor’s picture behind the text “American Icon” OMG! And of course the toast being from Jack & Nikki’s wedding. Lord! Log in to Reply timepass September 24, 2012 Abby is supposed to be young, this expression showed her age lol I look forward to see how Tucker was sandbagged. Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 September 24, 2012 Awful looking promo which should perfectly fit with this mess of a celebration. Is it October already? Log in to Reply TraceyAbbot101 September 24, 2012 Can’t wait to see it!!!! Maybe Tucker will remove his toupee?? Log in to Reply Divatude58 September 24, 2012 Eh…I guess I will watch it to see Tucker get sandbagged. By the way, in my world, VIctor Newman is an American cult classic…not and icon. But whatever. I am sure they will be no black person in sight. Log in to Reply DaytimeFan0001 September 24, 2012 In Response to CarlyCFan: I have the SAME response! It’s a wrap. Maybe we will finally get to see the “new” opening that was in “development” in July 2010 Log in to Reply pferrando September 24, 2012 Regardless of the current state of the show, or who’s featured, I think the important thing to remember is that FEW shows do reach this milestone and that it’s been number one for so many years for a reason. I truly hope that they can get it back on track. In any event, I’ll be celebrating as this wonderful show has entertained me for years, and hope it still has a lot of life left in it. Congrats Y and R!!! Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon September 24, 2012 That’s the promo for the 10,000th episode? Aren’t promos supposed to make you want to watch? SMDH. Log in to Reply harlee490 September 24, 2012 pferrando…I will drink to that!   This is a mile stone and I will wait to see it, not going to look at the promo…the last grasping breathe of Maria Arena Bell…hear it, the death rattle. I’ve lost 2 of shows now from CBS and just makes me giddy to know I still have 2 soaps on a network that is supporting their soaps! Log in to Reply jthawk September 24, 2012 Did that whore really wear white?! Come on children!! That slut should have wore black or red or something other than white. Log in to Reply Bartman202 September 25, 2012 As long as we all have the knowledge that Maria Arena Bell is long gone, I’m going to enjoy episode 10,011 even more!!! Log in to Reply alstonboy4315 September 25, 2012 Wow, they decided to base the 10,000th episode around a character who has been around for less than 3 years? Way to pay homage to the show’s history! NOT!!! Nothing against Stephen Nichols, who is doing his best to try to turn this slop into filet mignon, but please remind me who actually gives a damn!???? Log in to Reply pjc722 September 25, 2012 this story would have been spectacular if it played out over the year or 2 and not over only a few months. It’s now getting better and hope Victor doesn’t come back to town the TOTAL VICTOR Log in to Reply RealityCheck 33 September 25, 2012 Couldn’t CBS’ promo department come up with something better than this? Awful job by the eye network. The 10,000th episode milestone deserved better. Log in to Reply goyankees September 25, 2012 Note to CBS: It’s not 2009 anymore. ‘Shut the Front Door’ stopped being funny back when there were half a dozen soaps on the air. Log in to Reply tedew September 25, 2012 pjc722 … you could actually put up with that story for up to two years? Boy, you must have a lot of fortitude! Log in to Reply pferrando September 25, 2012 Just finished today’s episode, and I was pretty happy. Most of the scenes were between just two characters, great use of music (I miss that), and it verified that it was a mistake to let Abby go. Once again it goes to show you that Maria could put out a great show. Too bad the consistency wasn’t there day to day. Looking forward to Thursday’s. Yes, her crew probably wrote the crap, since they have to have that ready before the 5 weeks ahead that they film, this probably has more to do with who was under her and the director, and with more music use that sniffs more like JFP. JMO…. Log in to Reply lovmysoaps2 September 26, 2012 :glasses: I cannot believe Sharon wore white at her wedding to Tucker. I agree that she should have worn red or some other color. Not white! I’m really growing tired of Sharon. I would love to see someone put her in her place! What a witch! I hate to see Abby written out. She gives the show some spunk and I like that. There are others in the show that should be written out but not Abby. Log in to Reply ClosetYRFan September 27, 2012 Saw today’s Canada ep – the excuse they give for Victor being gone = LAME! Log in to Reply tedew September 27, 2012 So many seem to really really like Abby a lot (not that there’s anything wrong with that). I just can’t see her anything more than gaudy window dressing. She’s immature, shrill and annoying. I just don’t think that little Abby from the test tube would have grown up that way. So close to his air date, especially Sharon. Nick, Katherine, pointed out how odd and out of character and Nick saw it immediately…Sharon’s downward spiral. I think this will be Josh’s first long term story arc. He stated it will go at least 6 months just for recovery story, follow then the aftermath…and a love story. Josh could be putting couples back together liked when he wrote for Shick, Phack, Vikki I say bring it on…ground all the characters back into characters we recognize! Oct 12th couldn’t come soon enough! Log in to Reply pferrando September 27, 2012 Damn it. How can we get Dru back? MAB wrote up to 10,010. According to SID. If it’s good I don’t care who the hell did it. Log in to Reply ChrisGa September 27, 2012 While Wednesday’s ep was entertaining, I saw a definite tonal shift from some of the more recent episodes. Victor’s funeral was a joke made all the more pronounced by Sharon showing up in white ready to marry the next in line(frankly, this seemed like something off Passions or DAYS back in it’s Reilly days than typical Y&R). Still, as much as I hate Victor, I’m ready for him to obliterate Sharon into the ground. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
