My Daytime Confidential podcast co-hosts and I have long been complaining about the lack of sex on The Bold and the The Beautiful. The once incredibly sexy soap became one big, 30-minute, daily heavy petting session the moment the Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle took center stage.
I think all of that changed on Wednesday's episode. I say "think", because after repeated rewinding, I’m still trying to determine whether Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) actually had sex.
There was the definite implication of sex, but how their bodies were positioned during the wide camera shots made it look physically impossible at times. It also revealed them wrapped in different blankets, instead of writhing beneath just one. Hell, Liam’s blanket was wrapped tightly around his waist and went practically to his ankles. Did Liam find scissors and cut a hole in the blanket for better access?
Based on Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) facial expression while spying on them, she sure seemed to think they were having sex. Maybe she'd have been less horrified if they had used honey?
