Bryan Cranston Recalls Being Fired From Loving on Chelsea Lately

He may have won a slew of Primetime Emmys for his work on Breaking Bad, but Bryan Cranston still remembers the devastation of being fired from ABC Daytime's Loving — before he had a chance to quit!

Long before he played the dad on Malcolm in the Middle, or a teacher, driven to start cooking meth, on the AMC hit Breaking Bad, the Argo actor was an original cast member of Loving back in 1983. On Thursday night's episode of Chelsea Lately, Cranston revealed to the host how much it sucked to be fired from the role of Doug Donovan before he had a chance to quit.

Every cloud has a silver medal, however. Cranston was so bummed about being canned from the soap, he took up marathon running. He's since completed four of those suckers!
