The Genoa City trial of the century–you know the one where Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is on trial for running down Cricket (Lauralee Bell) and Paul (Doug Davidson)– was in full swing. However, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) wasn’t getting the answers out of Kevin (Greg Rikaart) he’d hoped. Michael’s frustration grew as Kevin danced around his questions like an elephant in a tutu. Fortunately for Kevin, the judge started having trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital. A new judge took over and promptly dismissed the case.
Victor warned Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) they needed to start ramping up their defenses at Newman Enterprises, because Jack (Peter Bergman) was coming for them. After acquiring Adam’s (Michael Muhney) Newman shares, Jack arrived at Victor’s office and quickly revealed he was well on his way to changing the name out front to Abbott Enterprises. I love corporate power struggles on soaps. I’m going to sit back and enjoy this one, even if it is a bit repetitive.
At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, Noah (Robert Adamson) told his mother he was moving out due to her latest actions involving Victor (Eric Braeden) and Tucker (Stephen Nichols).
The episode ended with an upset Summer (Lindsay Bushman) swerving into the path of an oncoming car carrying Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
