I'm so sorry to be downer, but when I first saw this picture, I was terrified the headline was gonna read, "Laura Wright OUT at General Hospital!"

I don't know if Laura is on that sexy soap stars story posted earlier this week (I don't have the patience to click on more than a dozen pages to find out), but she should be. She was SO sexy on The City and I was glad when I saw her on GH when I returned this year. I remember seeing a picture of her in an evening gown as a centerfold in Soap Opera Weekly back in the 90s, and I thought no woman has ever looked more gorgeous! I know Carly is a selfish pain in the ass, but I Laura Wright is the BEST!

I do believe they are softening Carly. Sorry but I don't get the Carly character at all, never did. Stupid. Was not watching when Carly came on in the first place so the attachment to Jason/Sonny means nothing to me. She needs a different world. She is developing more likability. She was hard to watch before this writing team.

I love her hair and the color. I allowed my color to grow out. It came out lighter for me in front and darker in back. I keep current style and have gotten compliments. I also have to work out a lot so as not to look older than I am. So far so good. I see more and more doing it.

I had to add my personal note because I do know some people outright hate grey/white/mixure and I am aware of that. Go easy.

In the pic it looks like she has highlights.

I have followed Laura Wright since her very first soap, "Loving". She has matured into a wonderful actress, with solid range and great chemistry with anyone she shares a scene with on the soap. She was cute as Ally Rescott, all those years ago on "Loving". Geesh, I miss that little soap.

Great memories, Soap_Stud. And isn't it interesting that back then, Wright's Ally was dating Tony Soleito? Today, her Carly is dating Tony's cousin, Johnny Zacchara! Small world, these soaps. Wink

It is me again. I did like her as Cassie on Guiding Light and she had great chemistry with BC and DAM as Jeffrey/Prince and Edmund. There were two different fan bases. I am still waiting on GH. Sorry but it still has not been duplicated. I can't figure it out. Maybe if they are redefining Carly it will work better with leading men. She has been such a grouch. I think her work was better on GL. (Yes, I am saying that even though it was on GH she got emmy. No one ever takes emmy wins seriously on daytime--even the winners have said not to take it seriously on daytime)

I wonder if they are going to team her with AJ. His name escapes me now but he is an excellent actor. (This writing team looks as acting skills. Some of the others are still hiring models without depth) This team looks for BOTH.
