Sharon (Sharon Case) was on the verge of going stir crazy in the little cottage hideaway where Adam (Michael Muhney) stashed her. Once Adam told her her he believes she's having a mental breakdown, it only made Sharon act nuttier. I’m not sure what to think of this storyline, but Case is doing a bang up job.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) were talking about how he didn’t get the Jabot job, when Neil (Kristoff St. John) showed up and offered him the position of his right hand man at the company. Neil then asked Lily to visit Jabot later that day because he had a job in mind for her.
Genevieve (Genie Francis) arrived after Neil left and begged Cane to help her. Cane washed his hands of his mother, saying he wasn’t going to let her hurt his wife and father-in-law.
I found the whole conversation ironic. This is Cane the con man who has lied and betrayed Jill (Jess Walton) and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) in numerous ways since hitting Genoa City. Yet they always forgive him, while treating Billy (Billy Miller) like a pariah. Cane is as frustrating a character as Lily is bland.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) demanded that Adam answer his and Chloe's (Elizabeth Hendrickson) questions about their company. Adam promptly told his business partners that he was done with their company. He said Kevin needed to find someone to buy him out.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Jack (Peter Bergman) visited a doctor, who told Jack that the fragment had shifted and could prove fatal without immediate surgery. Because of Newman, Jack postponed the surgery.
Phyllis tried to convince Jack to set up an appointment, but he dodged her entreaties. I will be pretty upset if Jack loses Newman because Victor (Eric Braeden) or Victoria (Amelia Heinle) take advantage of his medical situation.
