Frank Grillo Cast as Villain in Next Captain America Flick

Former Guiding Light bad boy Frank Grillo has landed a juicy role in the upcoming Captain America sequel. Per Variety, Grillo has signed on to play Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The villainous, Marvel Comics character began as Brock Rumlow, the head of New York City's Savage Crims gang, prior to joining a school geared towards criminals. Rumlow would then become Red Skull's dastardly henchmen with the code name of Crossbones.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier heads to theaters on April 4, 2014.

Wow, that’s a huge role for him. Good for him! I agree with harlee that he is yummy and that they best Hart was Leonard Stabb. It was too bad he had that bad accident and was only on the show for like 6 months. Just when they found the perfect Hart.

I don’t know about that…I hope they try and bulk him up. Crossbones was pretty muscular and seeing as how he was the one who shot and “killed” Captain America you would think they would cast a “name” actor in the role.
