SOAPnet to Air "Quartermania" General Hospital Thanksgiving Marathon

SOAPnet will be serving up a five-episode General Hospital marathon on Thanksgiving, the cable channel announced Monday. SOAPnet kicks off the GH marathon at 7 pm EST on November 22 with the 1995 episode, in which Lucy (Lynn Herring) discovers her duck Sigmund is missing.

First of all, SOAPnet is still around?

Do they stream online too? I don't have the channel, but I really want to see that episode where Lucy goes in search of Sigmund. I hope they do a Nurse's Ball marathon too.

Soapnet was the only place I could find to watch GH Oct-29 to November 1st when NYC was wall to wall #SANDY covergage. It was a good week for GH and a bit of an escape from the sadness of seeing the greatest city in the world brought to her knees.

Most of the classic Q Thanksgiving dinners are on YouTube. Wink Anyway I love that they are doing this. The Quartermaines should have never been moved to the back burner. If one soap family deserves to be front and center it would have to be the Quartermaines.

I dont have Soapnet either. Its funny that they break out the classic episodes when nobody has the channel? Why didnt they break out the classic episodes(or show more classic episodes) when people actually had Soapnet??

The last regime was too busy destroying the Q's to worry about showing them on Soapnet.

SOapNet is still around? Does ABC Disney still know about this?? What a failure of a cable network if I ever saw one.

Wish I still had SoapNet, but Comcast got rid of it back in March when Disney was supposedly getting rid of it for Disney Jr. And naturally, since it's gone, they're now once again actually showing classic soap episodes, instead of wasting time on reruns of 90210 and One Tree Hill.

Disney didn't get rid of SOAPnet, but it did allow cable companies out of their agreements to carry it, IF they replaced it with Disney Jr.

Bottom line is, your cable company still could carry SOAPnet if it wanted to. So contact them.

Also, it's on DirecTV Channel 262.
