Anna doesn’t believe Robert’s accusation of Faison impersonating Duke. She says Faison is dead, but Robert thinks he survived the explosion. He claims to have proof of Duke’s true identity. Robert explains Olivia’s vision and Liz's drawing, but Anna is still skeptical of Robert's theory. Robert continues on, and mentions finding Duke smoking one of Faison's signature cigarillo's.

Carly’s worried about Michael, and Sonny doesn't help her mood when he tells her about the Connie kidnapping fiasco. Sonny knows he was close to getting through to Kate when Michael interrupted.  Carly says Sonny is lucky he isn't in jail, and warns AJ will use this against them.  Carly’s afraid she’s losing Michael, and feels alone without Jason to help her.  She and Sonny hug, and he promises to help her more. The former couple agrees to present a united front.

Michael is upset about Sonny, and AJ is concerned about his son's well being. Before they can finish talking, Diane arrives to talk about AJ’s chances of staying out of prison.  She figures she can get the attempted murder charges dropped, but the kidnapping allegations will be more difficult.  Michael offers not to testify against AJ, but Diane says he wasn’t the only victim. Michael points out he's the only one old enough to remember the events, since Morgan and Kristina were too young at the time. However, Diane thinks it won't matter, and advises AJ to give the cops a bigger criminal in exchange for his freedom.

Connie returns home and kills Johnny's good mood. She’s angry he didn’t miss her while Sonny kidnapped her. Johnny doesn’t care, because he wants to get out of the marriage and reunite with Carly.  Connie wonders why he’s being so hateful, since she thought they had a truce. She proceeds to threaten him about the accident again, and warns him to show her respect.

Starr accuses Todd of kidnapping Tomas in order to get Blair back, but Todd maintains his innocence.  Starr worries her father might get his feelings hurt again. Starr changes the subject, and asks about the manuscript. Todd admits he didn’t read it, and Starr quickly becomes extremely annoyed.  He looks for it and can’t find it, so Starr helps him. She stumbles across Connie's bracelet under a few magazines, and realizes Connie must have taken it. She heads out to personally deal with Connie.

TJ tells Molly that he read her book, and loved it.  She believes Todd didn't like it, because she hasn't heard from him. TJ can’t find his copy, so Molly checks her computer for the original file.  However, it’s gone as well. TJ tries to get it back, and Molly soon remembers she accidentally downloaded something else on top of it. TJ informs her the original is gone forever, and Molly freaks out.  TJ assures her all is not lost, because they can get Todd’s copy.

Carly asks Todd if he made Tomas disappear, which upsets Todd, because he thought she believed in him. Carly knows he would do anything to make Blair love him again. She's happy she didn't sleep with him, because he'd only have been using her. Todd tries to convince her otherwise, but Carly asks what she means to him.  Todd says she’s his friend, and Carly doesn't like his answer.

Starr arrives at Johnny's penthouse, and demands to know what Connie did with the manuscript.  Connie denies knowing anything about it, and secretly scoops it up in her coat. She quickly leaves, and advises Starr to talk to Johnny.

Johnny confesses his marriage to Connie is a sham because she's blackmailing him.  Starr wonders what he could have done that's worse than Connie killing her child. When Johnny doesn’t answer, Starr orders Johnny to tell her what Connie is holding over his head.

Sonny and Connie run into each other, and she warns him not to come near her.  He asks if Johnny missed her while she was gone, and apologizes for her rape again. Sonny also questions if she aches to be with a man and not a boy, because he can help her if she calls on him.

TJ and Molly ask Todd for the manuscript back.  He admits it's gone and points them in Connie's direction, just as she arrives at the door.

Diane asks if AJ knows of someone worse than him, and AJ brings up Faison. AJ explains that while he was recovering in the Swiss hospital, he saw Faison talking to his doctor and recognized him.  He didn’t go to the police at the time.  Diane asks for proof, and AJ shows her a cell phone photo he took of Faison at the hospital.  Diane is thrilled, and claims the charges against AJ should easily be dropped.

Duke says Faison is dead, and feels Robert is trying to come between them.  Robert mentions Anna's hated of Faison, but love for Duke. He thinks it would be very clever and easy of Faison to take Duke's place in order to get close to Anna.  Robert wants to call the agency, but Anna has had enough of Robert's lip. She tells him none of this will bring Robin back, and calls her officers to arrest Robert for breaking and entering.

Duke thanks Anna for believing him, and the two hug.  He calls her “my Anna”, and she suddenly stares at the photo of Faison in wonder.

Wow, that Switzerland is quite the small place. Everyone and their uncle are all showing up at the same hospital and tripping over themselves in the restricted areas. I mean really. Not only does AJ see Faison he manages to get a photo of him. Eeesh, that's a bit of stretch, even for a soap.

I was disapointed that we had Connie and Johnny as adversaries again. I wanted them to continue the truce. Unless this leads up to Johnny telling Starr the truth in the next day or so, because otherwise it will all just annoy me.

Please, please, please tell me that Anna has finally bought a clue. And she'd better apologize profusely to Robert for having MY international spy arrested for B&E.

Todd line of the day:
Carly: Blair will come running back to you in slow motion
Todd; Do you know how hard it is to run in slow motion.

Man, I laughed at that.

Hated the Sonny/Connie scenes. What disgusting mysoginistic crap from the little bully.

Could someone please help me follow or understand the whole Faison/Jerry Jax/Joe Scully Jr storyline? I would love a recap of the original motivation and how all that manifested into the myriad of subplots. So I gather that Faison hired Jerry who hired Joe Jr.. The water poisoning scheme's goal was to get a BUNCH of money wired to Faison? But didn't Tracey say she got her part of the money back? And then Jerry was the intermediary to abduct Robin so that Faison could eventually give her back to Anna and be the hero? And then Joe Jr. got son Trey to marry Kristina so that after he killed her all her (or Sonny's) money would go to Trey? But then we found out the money and power was actually going to go to Faison, who said he wanted everything Sonny had? And that's what prompted the hit on Bernie?
I mean do you guys get my drift? Talk about convoluted! And now many parts of what I just mentioned haven't even been talked about again by Faison....

Ah, Perkie! It warms my heart when someone besides myself refers to MB's character as the bully. Wink I've said it before, I've never been enamored with him. But that's me. I thought LW looked quite attractive in her well fitted purple sheath dress and her hair and make up were very flattering today. Always love CH coming in to scenes as I love how she plays Diane and she's another character who, more often than not is always dressed quite chicly... Innocent

"Do you miss it"...I wanted Connie to run away screaming CHESTER MOLESTER!!!

Anna has to get a clue. Spy are trained to not let emotions cloud their judgement. She has to figure this out.

I'm still upset Connie stole Molly's manuscript. That storyline is just pissing me off. Connie is like Jerry the Mouse and everyone else in town is Tom. They keep trying to kill this woman but she keeps getting away. Why can't Johnny just kill her? He killed his own grandfather, he can't kill Connie?

Starr left Todd's office like she was going to read Connie but nothing happened.

The greatest thing about AJ being able to take that picture of Faison is that it's cool Monica kept paying his cell phone bill and also made sure AJ got all the latest upgrades.

I gagged at Sonny's comment,"Do you miss it..." to Connie. Gross. Sick

I am beyond tired of Connie/Johnny.

LMAO!!!

AJ seeing Faison was a stretch enough but him having a cell picture of Faison was eye-roll inducing.

Konnie & Johnny: WHY?! The characters are completely unnecessary. Johnny shot and killed his "father/grandfather" at point blank range and is being blackmailed into marriage by Konnie? Konnie doesn't amount to much but an annoyance so what's the point?! Outside knocking Ewen upside he head a months back she's not dangerous like Heather so there's no fun/excitement factor.

At least Carly is there to remind Sonny that Jason was important to them. Sonny barely registers any other thought than Konnie.

I enjoyed the Robert/Anna/Fluke scenes. I also think TJ & Molly are cute. I do wish TJ was developed as a character. Todd makes every thing better.

Three fantastic days in a row....Friday...Monday...Tuesday...where I loved the whole complete show. There wasn't a second of the show I didn't watch and enjoy....then there was Wed...."Konnie" came back and stunk up my screen.

I feel for Molly in this...Pretty despicable for a grown woman to steal a child's hard work...I don't care if it is a DID personality...Both of her personalities are adults. The only way I will enjoy this story line is if Alexis goes all Cassadine on "Konnie" and her father Ric Lansing comes home to finish the job.

I like all things AJ so far...always loved Diane...so I liked how they tied in the Faison connection to AJ...Was it a reach?...well yeah....a huge one...but so what. This is a soap, and soaps are notorious with playing fast and furious with credibility.

LOVE LOVE LOVE all things Scorpio and Devane...I can't wait to watch my Anna and Robert every day....Thank you... Thank you.. Thank you... for bringing them back to GH.

Love Todd...still don't care for Starr on GH...I only like her in scenes with her father...and find her annoying at all other times, especially with Johnny....Poor Johnny...my Johnny loving heart is just broken...First he has to spend so much time with "Konnie" and her cartoonish ways ...only for her to leave... and then put up with Starr and her screeching. Yes I know Starr is the injured party here, but that is my point...I don't feel any sympathy for her in her scenes with Johnny...I have to grit my teeth until they are over.

I'm going to give Anna a bit of a pass. Her daughter tied a horrible death and shortly thereafter, one of her loves comes back from the dead. She's not going to question it too much, even though she herself notices that he's different.

I know, right. Did you steal the book? No. Okay. Plus anyone with eyes could see the pages sticking out from under Connie's coat.

I think a lot of the plot holes and convolution comes as a result of their ability to get Ian Buchanan (was tied to DOOL) and Anders Hove (lives abroad) on board. I think if had Ian lingered on DOOL the water poisoning s/l and Sebastian Roche would have been more drawn out and we wouldn't have seen the fauxDuke/Faison s/l this early on. Just me speculating.

I think they all helped each other out...like Faison wanted this whole impersonate Duke/kidnap Robin plan so he got Jerry's help. Jerry wanted money in return so Faison helped him take Port Charles hostage with the water supply. The ransom money was intented for Jerry which was returned to everyone (some how?) after Jerry supposedly "died". Jerry needed help and recruited Joe Jr. and Dr. Ewen. Joe Jr. had his own plans of action against Sonny which involved his son, but Jerry helped him get out of jail. So basically everyone was all "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"...yes a little conviluted, but it's a soap! I also think the whole getting actors on board theory is true as well...it's hard to write for an actor/character when you're not sure they are going to be able to get there. Is Andres Hove coming back at all?

Joe Jr.'s plan failed, Jerry's plan failed (maybe?), and Faison's plan will fail once he's discovered. It's just my theory to explain everything, maybe it's wrong.

I'm curious how this Duke/Faison will work itself out without Anders Hove. I thought I heard he had only taped two days, the episodes we've already seen from him. If they're not able to get him back for more taping, how can this be resolved?

Perkie, Anders taped 2 days with material airing in 7 episodes. I think we have only seen Anders in 3 or 4 episodes. I expect the remaining episodes to play out over the next couple of weeks.

OMG I am the only person who actually fell head over laughing over Sonny and Connie. It was freaking sexy and I would of dropped my panties for him. It was delicious. MB rocked that seen and I was hot and bothered myself. Connie needs Sonny and that's the Sonny she needs. I loved it.

Anna knows! The AJ thing was over the top. Unbelievable, but I guess they have to find a way to close that story. I hope we get to see Anna and real Duke get it on. Luke will still be upset over that. I think Anna and McBain actually share chemistry. The way they brought Duke on was to fast, I hope when real Duke enters the scene it will be a progression and perhaps have Duke hook up with Tracy for a bit. Or even have Monica and Tracy go for Duke. Anna is better with McBain for a while.

Johnny needs to just tell Starr what he did. She will be enraged but enough is enough. Today he will admit to killing Anthony I bet.

Molly and TJ are too cute. Todd and TJ was awesome. TJ reminds me of RH's real son whom I met and it kind of shows how he began the scene seeing Molly and TJ. It was like you could see the dad side to a teen come out a bit.

Hello Everyone,

Below is a link to a blog I follow about GH. The creator of the blog, Tenillypo, has included a YT link showing how AJ knew Faison. At the time, the actor who played AJ was Gerald Hopkins. RC is doing his research. He knows show history! Smile

Lana-Thanks for the link! Smile Fascinating footage and yes, I also thought the "AJ knows Faison" angle was a major stretch...to the point where someone was going to hurt themselves, LOL!... Innocent

Thank you for sharing that link Lana...I guess tying AJ to Faison was NOT that far of a reach. I love how Ron knows GH's history and uses it. Well done!!!

It's a soap opera! Things are suppose to be convulated far fetched and bullshit you wouldn't believe. So I must still commend Frank and Ron.

Could someone please help me follow or understand the whole Faison/Jerry Jax/Joe Scully Jr storyline? I would love a recap of the original motivation and how all that manifested into the myriad of subplots.

THE STORY SO FAR (as best as I know it):

Jerry Jax hired Joe Scully, Jr. to supply him with goons for a heist of a briefcase containing vials of Macguffins, which turned into the Metro Court hostage crisis. After that went down and Jerry escaped, Jerry went to Wyndemere and poisoned Nicholas, in a bid to get Nick to help him flee the country with a new identity.

Jerry comes in and out of Port Charles several times thereafter and sometime during this period he is hired by Theo Hoffman aka "The Balkan" to help avenge the death of his son, for which The Balkan blames Brenda. When Jerry "fails" in his mission, The Balkan has Jerry shot. The bullets were laced with the slow acting poison polonium-210 (which is real, by the way, and Jerry revealed that was also the poison he used on Nicholas).

Nicholas had been relatively easy to cure, but the poison had done too much damage to Jerry by the time he realized what was happening to him. Jerry made his way to Europe/Switzerland where he "knew" of someone who had the medication to cure him. That person (or one of those people) was Faison, who may or may not have been posing as "Duke" by that time. Jerry was given treatments and he did work for Faison/others. One of those jobs was to kidnap Robin. In order to get the final cure, Faison/they demanded upwards around 90 million dollars. Since Jerry didn't have that money and being the sadist/gamester he is, Jerry came back to Port Charles to ransom the city for the money for his cure.

Jerry contacted Joe Scully, Jr. again for help with the bio-terror plan, mainly securing more thugs and other sundry bits of business, as well as blackmailed Ewen into helping him as "useful revenge" for Ewen's role in his daddy Jasper Jax's death.

Faison (by now clearly posing as "Duke Lavery" in a decades long plan to get Anna back and having arrived back in Port Charles) had an additional objective: to get Sonny's empire through blackmailing Bernie, given that Sonny is arguably the most powerful person in Port Charles. This way he could also basically control the city. With "Duke" as his cover and given that the real Duke was a former mobster, he could plausibly sell this to Joe Scully, Jr. without tipping off his real identity.

Here, Sonny's assets would be siphon off by putting them in Kristina's name while both Sonny and Jason were totally distracted. Faison knew who Joe was through Jerry Jacks and kept him around in his back pocket for this part of the plan....

How this was accomplished: "Duke"/Faison ordered the hit on Sonny's restaurant where BERNIE was the intended target and not Jason as originally thought. The goal was not to kill Bernie but to wound him and let Bernie know that if he did not follow Faison's orders, he would kill his family. (this had been done once before on the show: when Sonny was dating Emily, a war broke out between Sonny & Jason and Jason temporarily took over Sonny's empire by transferring funds and assets without Sonny's knowledge.)

When everything was in place, Kristina would be killed, Trey would inherit her assets as next of kin and Trey would turn everything over to Joe Scully, Jr., who — still with a vendetta against Sonny — would reclaim Sonny's empire for himself. It could be inferred that either Faison had promised Joe that he could run Sonny's old empire or that Joe was planning to double-cross Faison....at any rate....

Bernie couldn't take it anymore and decided to tell Jason everything, but Faison found out and sent Joe to kill Bernie before Jason could arrive. Joe got to the dock first, shot Bernie, Jason showed up, shoots Joe. Before Bernie can tell Jason what was going down, "Duke"/Faison shows up and shoots Jason.

So, to sum up:

Faison's Plan: to finally conquer Port Charles by de-powering Sonny and win back his obsession Anna by any means necessary.

Issues:

• PLOT HOLE OR NOT: What happened to everyone's money? The current state of things seems to be that ONLY Tracy got her $18 million contribution back and that everyone else didn't. Did Joe have a hand in that? Is there some hidden play for ELQ lurking around in the background? (Remember that Anthony Zacharra's plan was to use ELQ to launder his mob money; what if something similar is going on down the road)?

• PLOT HOLE OR NOT: The asset transfer plan is a little confusing but not a plot hole. Basically one person ("Duke"/Faison) had a goal and another (Joe Scully, Jr.) had his own agenda. They could have been in deeper cahoots or Joe could have betrayed Faison had the plan worked, but it didn't....(no doubt speeded up by Steve Burton's departure).

• PLOT HOLE OR NOT: Did either Jerry, Joe or Bernie know that "Duke" is Faison? No, at least as far as we know. The only four people who know with certainty that "Duke" is Faison are Dr. Obrecht, the real Duke Lavery, Robin and Helena. Anyone else, including Robert, just suspects with varying degrees of certainty or incredulity.
