HomeTVThe Bold and the BeautifulBold and Beautiful SHOCKER: Stephanie Changed Her Will! Jamey Giddens December 6, 2012 The Bold and the Beautiful 32 Comments SPOILER ALERT: Thomas (Adam Gregory) can forget about assuming permanent control of Forrester Creations anytime soon. Next week on The Bold and the Beautiful, the loved ones of the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) will learn via a video codicil that the matriarch changed her will, leaving widower Eric (John McCook) her 25 percent of the fashion dynasty! Said McCook on the plot twist in the Dec. 17 issue of Soap Opera Digest: "Everyone goes, 'What the hell? And Eric does too!" explains the actor. "But he's thrilled and so touched that she's given one last great gesture to the company, which was a big part of who they were together, to push it into the future, and put Eric back into the CEO chair." Stephanie's final manipulation will pit Taylor's (Hunter Tylo) children against Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang), as Eric orchestrates a fashion face-off with Thomas and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) vs. Rick (Jacob Young) Hope (Kimberly Matula). Who will come out on top on the catwalk? You'll have to tune into The Bold and the Beautiful to find out! 32 Responses TraceyAbbot101 December 6, 2012 THANK GOD is all I can say. If I have to sit through another episode with that smarmy sarcastic idiot Thomas and his ugly facial expressions, I think I am going to toss my lunch. And he walks around shirtless, like is in on the prowl at the MANHOLE bar. GAG Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 December 6, 2012 Good for Eric. He deserves to be part of this company in a bigger way. Never understood all this love and entitlement for Ridge and his children. Not to even mention that Ridge left Eric hanging SEVERAL times. I hope Eric uses his 25 percent to some day give them to HIS children. Log in to Reply jthawk December 6, 2012 Thank you Stephanie! Eric needed to be in charge and it makes much more sense now why Stephanie sent him away while she was on her death bed! So if my math adds up: Steffy: 25% Bill: 12.5% Eric: 37.5% Ridge: 12.5% Where’s the rest of it? Log in to Reply ChristianDavis148 December 6, 2012 [quote=jthawk]Thank you Stephanie! That leaves 7.5% of Forrester stock still floating out there. So yeah, where’s the rest of it? Log in to Reply spudfarm December 6, 2012 Ridge has 20%, he’s only down the 5% he gave to Thomas. Log in to Reply ChristianDavis148 December 6, 2012 So, that’s where the other 7.5% is at. Ridge has it. Log in to Reply MsAgentProvocateur1 December 6, 2012 Does Dollar Bill have any shares in his possession? It’s not inconceivable. Log in to Reply met December 6, 2012 Didn’t Brooke donate her shares to a foundation? Log in to Reply jthawk December 6, 2012 The last storyline I recall that split the Forrester Creation stock was when Steffy took it away from Bill and outsed Katie as CEO. Steffy formed some trust that was called REST – which stood for Ridge, Eric, Stepahnie and Taylor. And with the trust each member of “REST” got 25%… Ridge: 25% Stephanie: 25% Taylor: 25% Eric: 25% Taylor gave her shares to Steffy and Eric gave half his shares to Donna in the last divorce they went through. Donna in return gave her shares to Bill. Ridge: 25% Steffy: 25% Eric: 12.5% (Now Stephanie Bill: 12.5% Log in to Reply brettyboy December 6, 2012 So, just to clarify it will be: Ridge 20% Thomas 5% Eric 37.5% Steffy 25% Bill 12.5% So, if Bill and Steffy teamed up they’d match Eric’s shares and if Thomas joined them they’d have more power than Eric, Ridge may have to take sides at that point. This could be interesting, and if Hope and Liam are off screen there’ll potentially be some good episodes coming up! Log in to Reply THEBEST December 6, 2012 Shocking. Brad Bell seems to be making sense again. Wonder how long it will last… Log in to Reply RockiDreams December 6, 2012 Swarmy Thomas is right. He has absolutely no chemistry with anyone on that show, shirt or no shirt. Log in to Reply ChristianDavis148 December 6, 2012 That’s because Thomas’ portrayer Adam Gregory is a squeaky clean Mormon choir boy. Oh the thought of Steffy and Bill together…Jamey’s said it on the podcasts before I agree 100% Bill/Steffy/Katie was the money couple for B&B. Katie’s PPD storyline would have been 10x better and made more sense for her to give the baby to Steffy and then push Bill together with the other woman she knew he cared deeply for. Plus I’m sorry – I can’t see any woman (or man for that matter) climbing all over Bill Spencer Jr. and then decided they didn’t want that any longer and climbing up on Liam. Log in to Reply booze26 December 7, 2012 Wouldnt it be far more interesting if Ridge gave Brooke 10% of his shares as a wedding gift, so that a real power struggle could start. With Brooke/Erics family and Taylor/Ridges family. Bill in the middle could be interesting because he is tied to Brooke and to Steffy. If Donna sold het shares to Bill, why does she need that stupid job on the reception? Log in to Reply brettyboy December 7, 2012 I think Donna was bored and Brooke took pity on her – seriously Log in to Reply jthawk December 7, 2012 [quote=booze26]Wouldnt it be far more interesting if Ridge gave Brooke 10% of his shares as a wedding gift, so that a real power struggle could start. If that baby was so upset with “Logan” because she was texting Deacon Sharpe all the way in Port Charles and he to mad to come home and say farewell to his dying momma…he better not have given her 10% or 1% of FC! LOL!!!! Log in to Reply harlee490 December 7, 2012 This will create a lot story from her death. B&B has been on fire of late! Log in to Reply guilty pleasure December 7, 2012 @jthawk: I think the rest of it goes to Thorne, perhaps? He is a Forrester too after all, and the only biological son between Eric and Stephanie! Log in to Reply harlee490 December 7, 2012 OHH…hell ya…guilty pleasure! If this how she shows Thorne she did love him and left part of her shares and Ridge comes home and Ridge vs. Thorn families…this is when they need to age Alexandra to fight with Steffy Log in to Reply NathanHastingsSr. December 7, 2012 I think Stephanie left some to Caroline. Caroline will be made CEO of Forrester Creations! Log in to Reply Kroney1972 December 7, 2012 Can someone explains to what is Brooke and Hope title at Forrester? Do they have an office or salary? I just deleted B&B from my DVR again. I don’t like Thomas, but I like Rick even less. Eric has three other children with Stephanie, do they get screwed? This Rick vs. Thomas thing is as exciting as Steffy/Liam/Hope. I was so Happy Wednesday when Bill put Caroline in her place. She is not a heroine and what makes her an authority on his son, when she doesn’t even know him. I put that on repeat for 10 minutes. Brooke cookies got off on watching dollar Bill in action. At this point, I want to see Eric in charge but time out for the boring youngens. B&B rose during Susan’s last days because for a change we were treated to some acting by vets. Caroline is not her aunt and her suitors are not worthy adversaries. Isn’t Thomas younger than Little Eric/D. Which make Rick old enough to be his father too. But alas, I did like the twist Stephanie left. Log in to Reply booze26 December 7, 2012 With all do respect, but lets be honest. WH as Thorne is no leading man material. And what did Taylor mentioned today, that she and Thorne are not dating anymore? Hmm…interesting. It came out of nowhere that remark. Bell has no intention to write for the real Forrester kids, because they are just plain boring. Kristen was only exciting during the Clarke-Mick-Margo days, early 1988-1991. And Felicia was never really exciting. Thorne had his moments but for now he is just not all that anymore. The first actor was great, JT turned him into a bore and WH actually portrays a decent Thorne, but its just not leading man material. Then, AG as Thomas, well thats questionable. The only girl he had chemistry with was the blond model and Brooke. JY as Rick is probably the best choice for Brad, and while he has more chemistry then AG with Caroline, it still is quite boring. I dont know why Bell gave up on AF as Amber. Probably because she was a stand alone character, there is no place for stand alone characters on this 20 minute format. I am really curious to where this soap is heading. I still give it a chance, because its still one of the best and consistent soaps on the air. Log in to Reply brettyboy December 7, 2012 I notice Taylor and Thorne’s relationship has been shoved under the carpet – a brief mention of the break up in passing from Taylor. I guess we won’t be getting Alexandra anytime soon. What a waste of an opportunity, Taylor and Thorne could’ve got engaged and Alexandra could’ve disapproved but of course that would mean airtime for Thorne, we can’t have that can we?! Log in to Reply Smitty December 7, 2012 THANK YOU BRAD BELL FOR CORRECTING THAT WRONG!!! LOVE IT! Log in to Reply Smitty December 7, 2012 Vote Shares with this new development Eric 37.5% Ridge 20% Thomas 5% Steffy 25% Bill 12.5% Log in to Reply bnt83 December 7, 2012 I’ve only been watching B&B for about a year and a half and I’ve never liked Thomas. There is just something unauthentic about him. He doesn’t have chemistry with a single person on the show and I hope they snatch his CEO power soon.. I don’t really care for Rick or Caroline either. Neither one of the actors are owning their roles. The acting is so unnatural that it makes me not care about either of these characters. IMO Thomas, Rick, and Caroline could all use a recast. Also, if Taylor doesn’t work for FC or have shares, why does she feel the need to be in the meetings.. Log in to Reply stoney07 December 7, 2012 Up until Stephanie’s death, Taylor was trustee over Thomas’ shares….that’s why she was there, although I really wish they’d just let her stay in her lane and be a shrink. Show her at her OWN office for a change…that would be great. then again, Taylor’s not a priority for Brad Bell, unless it’s to make her look unhinged which he excels at. Log in to Reply LoveVillians December 8, 2012 BELL WOMEN ARE NOT STUPID!!!! We watch soaps to get escape from our real life drama. I’m done watching this show. It was a irreversible trust that Stephanie gave to Thomas. Do I think he deserved it? NO. But she gave it to him. She didn’t try to get it back from him. Now to have grandfather side with the Logans. He will not win the Grandfather of the year award. I LOATHE the Logan. A bunch of dumb women who have no real purpose in business. Yes, Steffy is written like a sex kitten, but at least she works and has ideas. When was the last time, Brooke or Hope came up with an idea. Carolyn and Rick is just creepy. He is too old and sleezy for a young naive girl. The triangle is terrible. The sad thing is that is all this show is about. Bell, you need sit down and plan on how the characters will come to life next year. I’ll give you some hints – no triangles, one side doesn’t always win. You need to bring characters that are not related. Dating your step-sister or kissing your brother-in-law is too Jerry Springer for any show. The acting is terrible. You needed to recast Hope, Rick and Carolyn (needs to be older). Viewers if you want to watch B&B, DO NOT WATCH ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. Watch it a day later and FF through all commercials. If the ratings go down maybe Bell will realize that he needs to move in another direction. Log in to Reply booze26 December 8, 2012 @lovevillians Keep your stupid advise to yourself. If the ratings go down the show will be canceled within a year. You should be glad that there are still 4 soaps left. If you are a true soap fan you would never give that advice ton anyone. Its just stupid. Log in to Reply harlee490 December 8, 2012 CBS online is going to show the first 25 episodes from the debut of B&B in ’87. Now if any didn’t see those beginning of the Forrester, Spencer, Spectra clans then check it out. This is all Bill Bell’s writing and why B&B had become a hit. Log in to Reply Yoryla December 17, 2012 YES. This is the right thing to do. It was a total travesty in the first place for Stephanie to give her shares to Thomas. It is time to take the kids out of Forrester and have Eric, first and foremost, back in the CEO seat of the company that HE built. And if not Eric, than Rick. Not because of any blood relations, but simply because he has more experience than Thomas. Ten years ago Rick was already president of FC, when Thomas was still in high school. And to the TPTB: please stop with the Logan/Forrester/Marone dividing – they are all a part of the same family, just learn to get along and get over it!
