General Hospital: Perkie's Observations

Anna is upset she allowed Faison to fool her yet again.  Robert thinks she wanted to believe, and was played by the best.  He also points out her grief over Robin leaving her vulnerable to Faison's mastermind. Anna wonders if Duke is alive, and Robert laughs her off. However, Anna replays the moment when Faison and Duke were in the same room, and thinks the real Duke could be out there somewhere.

Robert feels Faison had one of his henchmen wear the mask, but Anna remembers Duke's Turkish prison story checking out. When Duke and Faison were present in the room, she’s sure it was the real Duke. Robert thinks they should head to the clinic to get some answers.

Robin talks to herself about Patrick, Emma and Christmastime.  Dr. Obrecht brings her lunch, and Robin notices she seems a bit out of it. She wonders what's going on.  Dr. Obrecht admits Faison was captured, and Robin knows Anna had something to do with it.  Robin warns her to cut her losses and release her. Dr. Obrecht doesn’t care about Robin’s suffering, and has faith in Faison.  Robin tells her Faison is a treacherous man who will save himself and blame her.

Dr. Obrecht decides she needs to get rid of Robin before Robert and Anna come looking for her. Robin says they will owe her if she keeps Robin alive.  Dr. Obrecht informs Robin she isn't the only person she has to handle at the moment. Robin demands to know whom else the doctor is hiding.

Maxie is telling Mac about her nervous feelings toward the upcoming embryo implant, when Olivia arrives. She goes on and on about being a grandmother, until she receives a vision of a puppy sitting in a high chair. Maxie realizes Olivia had a vision, and forces her to confess its contents. Olivia tells her about the dog, and Maxie complains that she’s going to give birth to a puppy.

Lulu and Dante are ready for the procedure.  Felix gives Dante a cup and asks for a sample. Lulu gets upset when Felix tells her to leave, because she doesn't want Dante to use other supplies to help him. Dante promises to think only of her.

Sabrina’s excited about the Nurses’ Ball, and informs Patrick about Felix and Lucy Coe’s involvement.  They hug, and Britt quickly breaks it up. Felix wants Sabrina and Patrick to come with him to New York to see Lucy, but Patrick has plans with Emma.  Later, Felix talks about the possible romance between Sabrina and Patrick, but she says Patrick is still grieving over Robin.

After Olivia leaves, Maxie wonders what the vision meant, since they’ve been pretty accurate. Mac assures her premonitions are subject to interpretation, and expresses his concern for Maxie.  Maxie’s worried she’ll screw up somehow, and mentions eating the blackberry jam.  She doesn’t want to disappoint Lulu and Dante, especially since they've put so much faith in her. Mac knows she’ll be a great surrogate, but reminds her that she doesn't have to do anything she doesn't want to. He promises to support her either way.

Olivia goes to the hospital, and walks in on Dante giving his donation.  After she leaves, Dante hears everyone’s voices and decides he needs Lulu’s help.  He tells her making a baby is special, and she should have a part in everything.  Maxie runs into Olivia at the hospital, and admits she has some to say to Lulu and Dante.

Britt wants to join Patrick and Emma, but a flashback of Robin from Christmas last year puts things on hold. Later, when Patrick returns home, he sees Robin in the living room.

Anna and Robert confront Dr. Obrecht at the clinic about the real Duke. They demand to know if he's alive.  Anna decides to check all the rooms, and gets the shock of her life when she opens one particular door.

I'm not even a dog person and yet I want that adorable puppy. And I want him in a scene with Danny. In the Santa suit.

Since when are wives not allowed to be in the room or helpful when husband's are giving samples? Seemed a bit of a stretch to kick Lulu out, just so we could have the horribly icky scene of Olivia walking in on her son doing THAT.

Love Robert and Anna in super spy mode. Now I need them to find Robin. I'm sure they'll find Duke first, but I want them to find Robin before Christmas, darn it.

Britt, step off already.

I hope Robin returns just in time for Christmas. And with the teasing in today's episode, I have no doubt it's going to happen. It was nice to see Robert and Anna in spy mode. It was also great seeing Robin trying to make a deal with Obrecht. I'm kind of interested in her back story and how she became so obsessed with Faison.

The puppy is adorable. I want one like this for Christmas. So cute!!! They could keep that puppy on the show for all I care.

While I enjoyed Felix' scenes with Sabrina, I still think that Britt has to go. She has no purpose whatsoever other to be mean and looking at Patrick like she wants to rape him.

Olivia's really crazy now isn't she!? Her running around all freaky concerned me for a moment. It's all fun for sure but they need to figure out a way to not overdo it. Just a feeling ... I don't want Olivia to end up being "another Connie" - first liking the craziness until RC gets too obsessed with it.

Can't wait to see Lucy Coe tomorrow!!!! And I hope that Anna finds Duke first & them discovering Robin will be our Friday's cliffhanger.

I couldn't agree more! I'm not a dog person and I would consider restructuring my entire life for that adorable pup!

I loved today's episode because it was Scorpio-focused. Mac being so sweet to Maxie. Patrick reminiscing over his family. Anna & Robert being bad-ass. Robin being awesome (Kimberly McCullogh has more strong dialogue as Robin strapped to a gurney than in years under the two previous head writers.) The Scorpios are a strong unit and can drive story.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the OLTL reference of "Hold The Diploma." I got a kick out of the shenagigans surrounding Dante's "donation." Yes, as silly as it was, the actors were fun to watch. Dominic Zamprogna is great to watch and I love how committed Lisa LoCicero is as an actress. Under a lesser actress, Psy-Olivia would be unwatchable. Now, I wish Olivia had something else to do besides have "visions." With news of Scott Reeves leaving I hope Olivia gets a love interest or a triangle. I'd be open to seeing Olivia chem-tested with Sonny, Robert, Mac, AJ, and even Johnny again.

Now, I wanted more of a hospital focus but this is not what I had in mind...Sabrina, Britt and Felix are walking character traits instead of realized characters. They belong on a poorly scripted sitcom. I think all of the actors seems capable but the characters are too shallow to care about. Sabrina and Britt have been onscreen too long to know nothing about them beyond their inappropriate desires for Patrick (he's the trophy.) Despite the writing, I don't root for Sabrina and hate Britt. I find them both to be wastes. After months when I see Britt and Sabrina I roll my eyes and struggle to remember their names. The writing in this story is so lazy. I wish Ellie were involved in Nurses' Ball because she's been a breath of fresh air.

I wonder if the new regime is enticing her back and making her re-think her plans to direct...

Back when Olivia first came on the show it seemed as if they were going to pair her with Sonny. I actually thought the two did have chemistry and I would actually prefer her over Kate with Sonny. I think she could be good with Mac too, but I guess Felicia is here to stay?

I would not be surprised if, given the green light, KMc would be given the chance to direct an episode or two of GH as part of her internship. She's smart, knows the ins and outs of the production end of things having grown up on the set. It's not a stretch to think she hasn't sat with the boom operators, key grips and observed the directors when not being filmed herself. I find the idea of her directing her fellow castmates intriguing... Innocent

OMG- I so adored Robin telling the crazy doctor that her parents would find her. I adored the fear the doctor had of Anna and Robin and how she said they were legends. I couldn't get enough of Robert and Anna working together!! So great!!

It is true that the wife or any woman is not allowed to be in the room while the man gives a sample. They need the sample not to "come out" rough. At hospitals when we give the cups to the guys, we make the women sit in another room to ensure that they do not go in with the man. Not to get to graphic but it's the jerking that can mess up the amount of sperm and most of the time a woman will jerk to hard.

Wow, what an insightful review. Thanks for sharing.

I'm loving LSDed Olivia way more than I ever like regular Olivia. The scenes at Kelly's were hilarious. The hospital stuff was a little over the top but yet very entertaining after a long day.

I'm happy they tried to explain why Anna was so taken by a masked Faison, although I'm still having a hard time with it all. I guess I can try to convince myself that the loss of Robin made her that vulnerable.

Can't wait for Lucy Coe tomorrow! Pretty much the last character on my wish list to return.

Loved the Robin, Robert and Anna scenes. I like Anna and Robert in their spy mode. The way the show ended I wonder if there is going to be another twist to the story. I haven't read anywhere that Robin is coming back to the show full-time so I'm not sure she'll be found. With all the drama is was fun watching the comedy parts of the show. The scenes with Dante had me laughing. It's good to see him do comedy instead of always being so serious all the time. I think I'm going to like Felix, especially in scenes with Lucy Coe. I cracked up when he said, "that sneaky bitch". Yes, some of the stuff is very campy but it is so great, after all those years when GH was so dark, that there is laughter and comedy, along with the drama. All the other soaps are so serious and over-dramatic.

I have two questions...

Does anyone know whatever happened to the WSB? Has it been mentioned? Do Anna and Robert now work for Interpol?

Does anyone know what that word is on the door of the room where Robin is being held? It cracks me up every time I see it. It's like 20 letters long.

This has been an absolutely FABULOUS week of GH! I can't begin to tell you how much I love having ALL my Scorpios back on the screen. Faison and Duke were wonderful also. I am TOTALLY loving this storyline. Every single minute of it.

As for the surrogate storyline i am liking this also and totally getting a kick out of Olivia. I find this s/l to be humorous and entertaining.

I thought little Danny was adorable in his Santa outfit and was glad that Alexis decorated for Sam and AJ.

Loved finally seeing Liz for a change, but still wished that they would actually give her a story.

The only story line I am not enjoying is how they are ruining Johnny and that disgusting Connie stealing poor Molly's book. I hope they bring back Ric to take care of her.

Another great episode!

What I Loved
---Anna and Robert in super spy mode!
---Seeing Robin again made me very happy. I wish she'd come back for a little bit, at least to stay on recurring.
---Mac and Maxie's conversation (even though I hate Maxie) It was still nice to see families conversate. Wish Felicia could have been there.
---The antics with Lulu/Dante/Olivia were pretty funny and light hearted enough. It's refreshing to see a soap do that.
---The OLTL reference to "Hold the Diploma" GREAT!
---I really do like Felix a lot because the actor is really great. Now let's give him a great love interest.

What I Did Not Like
---The dog talking. The dog is adorable and I don't mind Olivia having these LSD induced visions (hopefully she doesn't turn into the town's crazy psychic woman-she's much too sexy for that), but sometimes Cartini can toe the line JUST a hair. An example would be on OLTL, when Jessica's baby and Tina's dog David Vickers had a conversation ALA "Look Who's Talking"...it's cute, but just a bit TOO much for me. Hopefully it all means something.
---Dr. Britt. I don't think I've seen anyone take a liking to her. Her character is so one dimensional. It seems her sole purpose is to act as a succubus. I was thinking she could be Dr. Lisa Niles in disguise. Cartini is known for doing things like this...(OLTL's Gigi/Stacy), I don't know, when Felix said West Nile, that made me think of Lisa Niles. Who knows? I just hope she's here for a bigger part of the picture.

What I am looking forward to
---The return of the great Lucy Coe! SO exciting! Hopefully she's on the canvas for a while. I think her character fits perfectly into the Cartini world. Imagine a scene with Lucy Coe and OLTL's Tina Lord! That would blow my mind!
---Hopefully Anna and Robert discovering Robin, but I am extremely cautious about this. I wish the preview would have had Anna or Robert smile and say "Robin"...so I won't believe they discover her until I see it. Although it would be hard for them not to discover her at this point. Hopefully they will discover her and Duke and maybe another Port Charles-ite...Alan? Emily? Is this hospital owned by AMC's Dr. David? (Sigh...Wishful thinking)

The word is BEHANDLUNGSRAUM and it means "treatment room."

(And on another topic, I still believe the puppy Olivia keeps seeing is a baby jackal and it means that Maxie will give birth to a little Spinelli.)

I like me some Miss Britt!! I've always liked a slutty schemer/dirty girl on soaps and the young lady who plays her is stunning, and the character is a great throwback to all the slutty schemer/dirty girls that used to run amok on soaps. Yep, Britt is just like her mothe....did I say too much?

***GAY GASP!*** Is Britt Lucy Coe's daughter??? I thought I noticed her tense up a little bit whenever Lucy's name was brought up....but how do you go from Christina Baldwin to Britt Westborn? Christina Brittney? Brittney Christina? Christina was Lucy's adopted daughter from Julie Devlin and Frank Scanlon (oh how I love me some Julie Devlin)

The actress who plays Britt is very sexy, just wish we could see more dimension. Schemers are always a good thing, but most of them are down on their luck or seeking revenge, not a gorgeous doctor who can get whatever she wanted. A connection to PC would take care of that explanation.

Or Serena!? Brittney Serena? Serena Brittney? Oh, my head hurts...

I was lured back to GH when I heard Finola Hughes was returning. This show is now on FIRE!!! I loved all the scenes with the Scorpios, Duke and Faison. Glad to see Felicia, Mac, and the other vets back. Thats the GH I know. I admit I FFD all the Spinelli, Maxi and Star scenes. Not interested and they are a complete bore. I would love to see Felicia and the Scorpios go on another Jewel hunt or adventure on location.
