Fang Bangers, Port Charles Style: General Hospital Revisits Caleb, Livvie and Lucy’s Vampire Saga!

From the moment John McBain (Michael Easton) first crossed paths with Samantha McCall Morgan (Kelly Monaco) the pair had the sense that they had known each other before; perhaps in another life? Starting January 14, General Hospital will begin exploring an arc questioning whether FBI agent-turned-cop McBain and P.I. McCall are really their Port Charles' alter egos — vampire rocker Caleb Morley and his bitch goddess beloved Livvie!

TV Guide's Michael Logan has the scoop on what happens when former vampire slayer Lucy Coe first spies John:

She completely freaks and screams, "Caleb!" says head writer Ron Carlivati. "Later Kelly's character, Sam, comes out of the ladies room and Lucy think it's Livvie." Lucy goes into full slayer mode and stabs John. He's rushed to the hospital. She ends up in the slammer.

Oh, this is gonna be fun! Hey, and on a side note, Caleb Morley isn't a character licensed by Prospect Park…

Oh no. I loved PC, and Caleb and Livvie (almost as much as I loved Alison and Rafe!) but I don’t want any part of that on my GH!!! Lucy Coe’s character could be used in much better ways than this and while I love McBam and want them together, not like this please!

I applaud RC and FV for at least addressing the “Port Charles” continuity issues. Hey, even if it is for just a fun few episodes with Lucy, I appreciate it. It just shows FV and RC’s dedication to the genre and it’s rich history.

I’m all for it! Say what you want but sometimes Soaps need a little comedy/craziness and this brings that. It feels like for so long GH was the soap that had none of that it was so so depressing.

Hey GH! Is that a shark you are jumping? The very same shark that made me give up on Lucy, Scott, and Port Charles in the first place? Why??

I have been enioying the lack of Sam and McPain on GH. It is the silver lining given to me by DWTS and Steve Burton leaving. Ugh!!!

That’s just so stupid. It really is. The Lucy on Port Charles was so far removed from the Lucy on GH. This is way to campy, it’s stupid. I don’t ever wanna have any of that Port Charles stuff acknowledge on GH. Bad enough they acknowledge Karen’s death. Ugh. Do we really need that nonsense. Unless it comes out that Lucy spent some time being crazy & hallucinating all that vampire crap. It’s still so stupid.

If Sam is really Livvie but stupidly forgot that and her need to consume blood to survive, wouldn’t she not only have an identical twin from Port Charles but also an identical stranger on some island. Would that mean she isn’t Alexis’ daughter or that Alexis’ womb was really crowded and she forgot? I vote to free Alexis. Can vampires have babies? Free Jason Jr. as well!!!

I know some fans are probably reading this thinking “What the campy heck!” but I think if done right this could be kind of a fun nod to PC. I’m going to see how it plays out before I pass judgement on this. I don’t think that we are going see vampires take over GH. I think that Cartini is just going to have a fun wink at the fact that PC had vampires running around while nobody on GH ever seemed to notice.

As for the rumor that they are making McBain really Caleb so that PP can’t have him – if that is the case then BRAVO. Maybe Cartini got wind that PP was going to start pulling their characters and they decided not to be pushed around. They already put the question out there whether or not Tim King’s character is Tomas from OLTL or Alcazar from GH. It’s possible they could be blurring the lines with John as well. Frankly if PP is trying to muck things up for GH when they can’t even get their act together, I hope Cartini does find a way to give them the middle finger.

I doubt they are the PC characters but Could Sam be Livvie’s sister. Could Alexis & Kevin hooked up all those years ago or maybe Alexis had sex with Kevin’s twin, Ryan & Livvie & Sam are cousins?

Ugh. I am not looking forward to this. How can Lucy be in the fight for ELQ, the funding and eventual Nurse’s Ball AND a vampire slayer?

I’m sorry, I never watched Dark Shadows or PC because that wasn’t my cup of tea. The entire vampire craze went right past me. I wasn’t watching GH when they tried to freeze the world. Everything isn’t for everybody, and this definitely isn’t for me.

I can hope that when they air it, they balance the episodes with other stories…but since the ones that I was interested in was the NB and the ELQ fight….ugh….

I have a feeling that they will just make John and Sam some sort of distant relation to Caleb and Livvie give them the “Star Crossed Lovers” treatment that Emily and Nickolas got back in the day and while there at it do a little wink wink nudge nudge to Port Charles no harm no foul and if they have to maybe just maybe use this as a way to turn John McBain into someone else.

And I’m happy Ron is going for it. Why would GH jump the shark with it??? That’s the show that tried to freeze the world and that had an alien from out of space visiting the Scorpios. LOL
People need to take it easy and just go with the flow. Sit back and be entertained for once before screaming and shouting and falsely promising to turn off the TV.

Yes, remind me again how “PC” ended. Didn’t Caleb and Allison marry? What happened to Livvie? Also, didn’t Livvie already have a twin sister named Tess? Or was Tess just a good side of Livvie? What happened to Tess?

As a fan of “Port Charles” including the telenovela format, I’m hoping this will be AWESOME and am quite excited about this!

I certainly understand why some folks here think “it’s stupid” or that it shouldn’t be done, but “Port Charles” — for better or worse — took place within “General Hospital” continuity, complete with tons of crossovers in its early years prior to the telenovela format switch. To acknowledge or explore the “PC” connection to “GH” is great; it doesn’t mean that Carlivati is bringing vampires and werewolves to “General Hospital.”

I love the fact that in various ways Carlivati & Valentini have found opportunities to acknowledge the ENTIRE ABC soap universe, including “Loving” despite the fact that there are no characters on “GH” with a connection to Corinth to my knowledge. I don’t see why “Port Charles” should not be a part of that, especially given the number of actors and/or characters that are directly tied to “PC” and the fact that — you know — the show was actually set in and called Port Charles.

Unfortunately, once again, a number of people are jumping the gun assuming this will automatically be bad or stupid or shark jumping, when in fact it could be quite fun. Time will tell.

I for one am excited about this development. GH has been so dark for years with all the MOB crap, it needs to perk up and I bet this will be a Memorial Day fun ride. People please remember when FV was on OLTL and they had the Role Reversal EPISODE. Todd was Vicki!!!! And please let us not forget all the singing on OLTL. GH needs this badly. OLTL was number one because teens and adults watched. Say what you will about the Ford brothers but they pulled in the gay male viewers and teen female viewers. FV and RC know what they are doing. I will seat back and enjoy the ride.

I trust the new direction GH is going. I hope PP does not character block gh. They may want Todd back on OLTL and RW may be willing to return to NYC. Only time will tell. As for TK he will end up being Alcazar.

On another note I hope that PP brings back Marty on OLTL reboot.

They call themselves fans but in all honesty they have not been with the show for thirty years like some of us. I remember when GH had a story line about a certain alien….So for me this is GH going back to the days of true soap drama delight. Delicious darlings….delicious.

Hate it!! We all know how well the vampires, slayers, angels, etc. did for PORT CHARLES. The show continued to lose viewers once it went the sci-fi route and was cancelled.

Carlivati needs to work on being original and not rerun or re-ron old stories.

I’m concerned this is going to do nothing but make my fave, Lucy look stupid.

Also, just so I am clear: We can remember and address that Lucy carried Dominque and Scott’s baby, Married Alan in a Red Dress, ended up half naked in almost every Nurse’s Ball Finale, but not that she was a “Vampire Slayer”? Like it or not, that is part of Lucy Coe’s History. Also, that is not ALL PC was about in its final years. It still had a lot of traditional soap in it.

    Soaps are filled with Camp.
    Marlena being possessed on DAYS
    The Weather Machine on GH
Erica almost being attacked by a bear on AMC
    Sperm Stealing on Y&R

We could also list the number of groundbreaking stories soaps have told. And yes, believable ones. Once again, leaving out soap history to support your preference for campy soap is unnecessary. If you like camp, you’ve had plenty to love on GH this year. For those of us who prefer a more believable heartfelt soap, we have youtube of ATWT and GL in their heydays, AMC when ABC allowed Nixon to have control, and yes even GH during its creative heydey when they told stories with as much humor as they had heart.

And btw, I’d consider Lucy in red dress at her wedding comedy and not camp. Ditto for Lucy and Sigmund the duck or Kevin and Mac dressing up as women. Comedy. Not camp. BIG difference. And Lucy stripping at the Nurses’ Ball is as far away from camp as GH’s current regime is from believability.

GH is head and shoulders above what it once was. It still has a ways to go and sadly it means bringing a few key people back from the dead and correcting the wrongs it did to Brenda, Lucky and Laura.

I am excited for the next three months of GH and all the stars that will grace our screens. I am all for a short arcs and stories that revolve around a few guest stars throughout the year while adding to a rich cast of characters. Folding the stories in seamlessly will add more balance and provide a greater continuity.

The one thing PC did wonderfully was the short arcs. They gave us a true beginning and ending of a story. My favorite GH story was the Metro Court Hostage. Not for the storyline exactly but the time line. My favorite GH storylines were LL2 and Stone/Robin. But for pacing and giving us the end in sight it was February sweeps 2007. If Soaps could get more into the arcs and give us a solid 12-13 weeks of story with some awesome vets highlighted while giving us a few key vets and talented stars always there GH could kill. They need to really think Night Shift!

Comparing Port Charles to True Blood is like comparing a D student to Einstein. Before its time? Give me a break. ABC was so desperate to save PC from its dismal ratings that they were willing to go the supernatural route and the show fell flat on its face.

If you want a true Gothic soap you need to refer back to the classic 1960s and 70s Dark Shadows. That was a true Gothic Horror serial that was cast with daytime greats. The show has been off the air for decades now and it still remains a cult classic because it was quality. Port Charles was a ridiculous bunch of hogwash thrown together in desperation.

True blood, though a gory bloody mess, is a well written gothic serial developed from a good novel. It never ceases to amaze me how soap viewer accept whatever garbage the networks through their way. SMH.

But back on subject….I remember Port Charles from when I was a kid (I’m only 23)…It was good in the beginning, and then the supernatural stuff hit and I stopped watching. HOWEVER, it depends on how Cartini spin the story. I don’t just say this for Y&R, but I say it for all soaps. We can’t just read spoilers or teasers and assume that something is going to be bad. We can at LEAST give it a chance. Some will like it, some won’t…but I say at least try it before spitting it out.

If they are going to try to mesh the shows and play the lunacy of what was PC in it’s final years and not just ignore it (which they should)… then why didn’t Lucy while on PC ever comment on “Joshua” who was a vampire played by Ian Buchanan looking like “Duke” who she knew from her GH days in the 80s? Will Lucy see “Duke” and flip out thinking he is bad vamp “Joshua”? You can’t play “Livvie/Sam” & “Caleb/John” without playing “Joshua/Duke”.

For those comparing the junk that Cartini writes to the wilder Gloria Monty stories like Freezing the world. You neglect a few key facts. The Ice Princess story was something completely new for soaps in the 80s.
Also the freezing the world angle was written by scab writers during the writer’s strike.
Also the nation was so entranced with Luke and Laura at the time that they could have gotten away with almost anything. And also the Ice Princess story was well written and featured some of the best action remote sequences in soap history. Yes the weather machine conclusion was ridiculous but the spy story that lead up to it was brilliant and it introduced super spy Robert Scorpio who was totally unique to daytime at the time.
No way you can compare that story to the episodic mess that was the lackluster return of Faison as he impersonated Duke with a latex mask or this lame proposed revisitation of PC’s desperate attempt to stay on the air. And final point-Cartini obviously dont have the budget to tell the wild and wooly stories of the 80s, Most of those stories subsisted on locations and big production values. This is the cost cutting new millennium. I mean that mask that Duke wore looked like something from a CVS drug store or the clearance wrack from Walmart! Get real people!

Perhaps you have never heard of a little series of movies called Twilight or a tv show called True Blood. Stoney I say it speaks volumes that even as a 23 yr old you shut off PC when they went the supernatural route. That was a few yrs back so at the time you were probably a teen and even then you thought it was lame. That speaks volumes.
I get your point about giving something a chance but I say consider this: if something was a bust the first time why try it again? PC started on the bottom of the ratings heap and remained there for its entire run. It was a failure. So why revisit failure hoping for success? That’s not intelligent or logical. If you touch a hot surface and get your hand burned do you touch it again with your other hand? Not if you’re smart, lol.

BTW I love supernatural stories, especially vampires. I am quite older than you and I grew up watching the enormously successful gothic soap Dark Shadows. That show was a success because it was a gothic soap from day one. That was its genre and it was well written and it boasted some of daytime’s best actors at the time. Many of them were veterans of the most popular soaps from all three networks and even Broadway and film stars! Dark shadows has been off the air for decades and still has a huge cult following some 40 yrs later.
On the other hand Port Charles started out as a so called spin off of GH that bared very little resemblance to GH. It faltered with casting and writing. Then when they got really desperate they turned to the supernatural for shock value. That didnt work because the audience didnt want a vampire horror show they wanted a GH spin off. Port Charles never gained a true identity of a core audience. So it died and was cancelled. So once again why should GH revisit a failure looking for ratings success. I say it makes no logical sense.

Well said, Trans! A lot of the success of the crazy stories of the 80s was due to the success of the star crossed couples….Luke/Laura, Felicia/Frisco, Grant/Celia, Holly/Robert….it was investment in these great characters and their love stories that made viewers tune in. Not so much the outlandish backdrops of the story. Sadly, there are no current roster of couples on GH that rival any of the above so it is hard to buy into a cartoony story involving vampires.

It would make more sense to do a 50 SHADES OF GREY story with Sonny ann discovering that he has a dungeon. A bit outlandish but a bit mroe believable.

NER, PORT CHARLES was not before it’s time. Before PC there was INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE (which flopped at the box office), BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA which was a flop, DARK SHADOWS in primetime on NBC with Ben Cross, DARK SHADOWS in daytime in the 60s and 70s. Before all of them there was Bela Lugosi. This isn’t a novel idea and soaps in 2012 don’t have the budgets to pull off these kinds of stories.

Perhaps you have never heard of a little series of movies called Twilight or a tv show called True Blood. I think that Port Charles was ahead of it’s time and a supernatural storyline can only increase ratings for GH. It will be by far more entertaining than the mob stories of Jason and Sonny ever were.

    ____________________________________________________________________________

This! Port Charles was ahead of its time when it comes to television shows. Yes Dark Shadows existed but the films Bram Stokers Dracula, and Interview with a vampire were not tv shows. Now we have had Moonlight (cancelled) Vampire Diaries, and Being Human. Right now if you walk into any Barnes and Noble you would see that almost all the young adult books are geared towards vampires I don’t personally get it but hey it is what it is…better than zombies IMO.

For the person who mentioned Lucy seeing Duke on GH, the rest of the article from tvguide.com mentions that:

“Our universes are colliding but this is no quick gimmick,” Carlivati promises. “This will kick off a nice little mystery story: Is Lucy crazy or is there something very real going on here? And, if she’s crazy, why do John and Sam feel like they’ve met before?”

The plot gets even dizzier when Duke Lavery, played by Ian Buchanan who also played vampire king Joshua Temple on PC, pays a visit to Lucy at the jailhouse. “That really throws her for a loop — in fact, the whole thing’s a total mindf–k!” says Carlivati. “We’ll also throw Sam’s mother Alexis [Nancy Lee Grahn] into the mix as Lucy’s attorney.”

How far will Carlivati take this thing? “The story does get pretty over-the-top yet it’s still rooted in a certain reality,” says the scribe. “Lucy may be off-kilter but she’s certainly not in Heather Webber territory. Her belief in vampires will be very convincing.” Especially for the PC viewers who saw it all happen!

“That show was so ahead of its time and this is a nice nod to the fans who supported all those wild chances we took,” Herring says. “I love that we’re still taking chances and not sidestepping the past. If Lucy met up with John and didn’t recognize him, we’d be flooded with complaints!”

The return to vamp territory is especially gratifying for Herring who wasn’t welcomed back to GH when PC was cancelled. “That was very disheartening,” she says. “I never occurred to me that Lucy wouldn’t still have a place in town if PC didn’t work out. But you know what? Even knowing what I know now, I would still go off to do PC. I would not trade that fabulous experience for anything!”

Just to interject this factoid as a fan of the book and movie versions of Interview With A Vampire…the movie cost around $60 million to make and grossed $220 million worldwide. The film was the furthest thing from a flop.

And aloof the strum under drag going on with so many fans over this news is just so overwrought. If this was YR I could see people freaking out because that show tends to be more grounded in reality historically but GH ( along with DAYS) is a show where more fantastical things can happen based on the history of the show.
I would also think that people would realize that getting all worked up ( positively or negatively) over reports of storyline ideas before one scene has been shown is kind of ridiculous.
Plus this sounds like it has a good chance of being fun to watch so I’ll wait before declaring it either great or the death of GH.

I could also not get into Port Charles when they went the Sci-Fi route. The vampire stuff just doesnt interest me at all. If there supposed to be vampires how come Sam hasnt acknowledged McBain as Caleb and vice versa? Just doesnt make sense. I would be more interested in a cat fight between Natalie and Sam over John.

I think your point just kind of proves the point that they aren’t going to be re-introducing vampires/Sci Fi to GH, but rather givin a quick nod to Lucy’s history. I think people are over reacting

    Hahahaha right J Bernard!!

Lets look at this logically, shall we?

Lynn Herring and Michael Easton aren’t even on CONTRACT! Why would FV and RC throw them in such a huge story. I really just like this is a change to re-introduce Kevin to the canvas to confront Lucy in the slammer.

RC and FV are all about small bits of history/continuity. They actually had Skye mention her Chandler family from AMC on her last stint. Do we see the Chandlers invading PC? Heather Webber mentioned Corinth. Oh no! Is the Corinth serial killer moving on to Port Charles? (Well, it would have to be a copy cat because Gwyn Alden offed herself haha). See? It’s ok to just reference a characters past!

I like the idea. The character of Lucy is fun, sassy, smart and definitely quirky. I love her character and Sigmund.

Although I’m not a huge fan of the show, I think it’s a nice nudge and wink that Carlivati is doing to the fans of both shows. And really, it acknowledges the huge elephant in the room for us viewers. I HATE how shows recast characters with actors or bring people over and ignores the resemblance. We aren’t that dumb. Examples include the examples above but also Roman Brady/Chris Kositchek (Josh Taylor – Days), Carly Corinthos/Claudia Zaccharia (Sarah Brown – GH) or Don Diamont’s Brad on Y&R and him playing Bill on B&B or Heather Tom as Victoria on Y&R and Katie on B&B yet Amber Moore, Ashley Abbott, Lauren Fenmore, Sheila Carter, Felicia Forrester, Deacon Sharpe, etc have crossed over BOTH shows as the same character and there is no mention of the similarity? It doesn’t have to be drawn out, but to acknowledge it rather than play us, the fan as fools is appreciated on Carlivati’s part. It’s fun. It’s an example of how him being an actual fan of the genre also elevates his work as a writer for the show. He’s not oblivious to those connections. How could PC exist for all this time and not have any impact on GH? I think it’s fun and applaud him for it. I wish other writers could be this tongue in cheek as Carlivati! Bravo! My only other wish is that Carlivati and Valentini had gone to Days (because that’s MY show). Le sigh…
This is going to be fun! I see no harm in giving a tip of the cap to the former “Port Charles” show, and lending some humor to GH.
Bingo! I don’t read this as a major anchoring story, more like yet another nod – perhaps more a “wink” in this case – to the past, probably a story that won’t last longer than a day or two but perhaps serves as a way to reignite the Sam/McBain coupling.

If anything, I think it will be played lovingly tongue-in-cheek, almost as campy satire. It was always ridiculous that vampires were running all over Port Chuckles with few (if any?) mentions on the GH mothership show. If, as a side benefit, this comedy gives them a way out of a potential McBain/OLTL issue, so be it.

It the powers that be at GH are going to start acknowledging characters from the PC universe then why not other shows? Every so often characters reference Corinth from LOVING, Pine Valley from AMC and Llanview of OLTL. If these characters are going to be played as existing between shows then why didn’t Skye on GH ever reference how much Sonny looked like Nico Kelly from AMC since they were both played by Maurice Bernard? Why didn’t Skye comment on how much Heather looks like Janet from AMC? Why hasn’t Tracy ever commented that Carly is a look-alike to THE CITY’s Ally? Or that Olivia looks like Jocelyn from THE CITY? Why didn’t Starr ever say that Olivia looks like Sonia Santi from OLTL?

If this is a criticism, it is a relatively invalid one. With the exception of the Edge of Night, which shared its universe with the Proctor & Gamble serials, ABC soaps have been a part of the same universe for decades going all the way back to when GH’s Steve Hardy visited Llanview shortly after One Life to Live premiered in 1968 and with AMC being a direct spinoff of OLTL. After ABC/Capital Cities bought GH, AMC and OLTL and produced Ryan’s Hope/Loving/The City, the shared universe was tightened. It was firmly cemented by the Skye Chandler/Rae Cummings multi-soap crossovers, soap blizzards and, even more recently, CGI tornadoes. If those questions are in some way meant to invalidate what is going on in this upcoming little arc, then one must pose these kinds of questions about every actor who went from one ABC soap to another playing different roles, where even if a character on Show A had not come into contact with that actor’s character from Show B there may have been multiple ways for that character to have seen or heard of the other actor’s character from another show within that universe.

Therefore we could dig through those weeds with this forever, but here are two salient points to the general spirit of what’s being asked:

    A) The show is doing exactly what seems to be criticized here, (largely off screen) with the hunt for Lorenzo Alcazar (GH)/Tomas Delgaldo (OLTL) (both played by Ted King).

    B) If there is a general rule of thumb, it might be this: One of the characters must not or might not be “real.” So, for example, “Lorenzo” wasn’t the “true identity” of the character who appeared on GH, as was not the person who pretended to be Duke Lavery after plastic surgery (when played by Gregory Beecroft). Nico, Janet, Ally, Jocelyn and Sonia were “real” characters with “real” lives and therefore would not fit into this specific kind of retcon. That is why Ted King’s character of Danny Roberts from Loving/The City would not fit this paradigm. That’s why Dr. Ellen Burgess from Port Charles would not be a part of this paradigm, as well, because she was a separate “real” character from Dr. Angie Hubbard from AMC, both played by Debbie Morgan.

On the other hand, the TV Guide article (which, judging by some of the comments, hasn’t been fully read), says this:

Carlivati isn’t saying vampires (or angels or werewolves or witches) are coming to Port Charles, but rather they are playing with the existence of the other show as a part of the shared universe. Remember that, as pointed out earlier, Port Charles was a direct spinoff of General Hospital. While events in the other shows within the ABC soap universe happened within the same timelines, the events of PC happened within the same city concurrent with events over on the mothership. So, even playing with the PC/GH connection given the circumstances actually makes sense.

I know the idea of getting incensed about this before we’ve seen one second of airtime is all the rage (ha ha, see what I did there?), but — as a fan of Port Charles — I would like to see it play out first before jumping to conclusions as to whether or not it was a good or bad idea.

Please everyone! Give the storyline a chance. I am so sick of the negative comments and those saying they will tune out of GH. Then, go ahead! I for one am willing to see this storyline. I always remained loyal to GH thru the last few years of those suffocating same old mob story-lines. I am enjoying the comic relief on the show. I love having Lucy back and if there is some reference to Caleb and Livvie, I’m all for it because I thought Micheal Easton was one hot vampire on Port Charles, and this was way before the “Twilight” movies.I am going to sit back and enjoy it. Also looking forward to Kevin’s return, and especially Laura. I love seeing all my old favorites again. Budget-wise, they can’t all be on contract so we’ll only get to see them in spurts but I’ll take it, over seeing another mob storyline with Jason and Sonny, and shootings and the never-ending exploding cars!

Based on your comments to my post you actually made my sentiments more valid and not invalid.

You mention that PC and GH were linked because of the same town. The same can be said for NIGHT SHIFT. GH rarely ever played up what was happening on PC or NS. Angels, vampires were running around PC for over a year and GH never referenced the crazy plot. You never even saw the same ER from NS and GH. Sonny and Jason never got their goons to take out the vampires running amok in PC even though they were all in the same city. They may have all been in the same town but there was little to no crossover. No need to start now and if they do then all there needs to be a nod to all the other characters that resemble characters in the ABC (DC/Marvel Universe.

Why are so many people complaining about others comments? So what if some have reservations, some down right hate the idea, and some love it. I should think that the purpose of this website is to express opinion. I love that the opinions vary. Vampires on Port Charles is why I stopped watching. It would certainly be odd if I suddenly loved the idea. I never said I wouldn’t give it a chance. I will shut it off if it swallows the show. I certainly don’t fault those that live the idea. I am a bit perturbed with folks who jump all over those with differing opinions. Why? Does anyone expect everyone to agree with them? Is that even possible?

I have been watching GH for over 25 years, far more than half of my life. The new writing has been great, brining back all the old characters. Now what…vampires, I’m sorry…there was a reason “Port Charles” didn’t make it. It is daytime tv, not a movie oo primetime….there are plenty of vampires there. What is going on with Robin…hello, did we lose our train of thought?? Did I really just see GH’s Lucy Coe stake John Mcbain??? What a joke. No wonder Steve Burton doesn’t wasn’t to come back…what bs is all of this. I am sickened that it looks like I will soon not watching any longer. 25 years…. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were cancelled…and out may well be deserving of it. Never tonight I would say that. And get billy warlock back as AJ…and you should have left him dead. Totally discussting.

Port Charles ended with Livvie staking and killing Caleb, so John can not be Caleb. Of course no one really dies in Port Charles but I am betting this is all a Lucy fantasy. I think we will still see the story line be played out though much like Spinelli’s fantasies with the actors playing dual roles. I think Doc will find out Lucy has a tumor, it will be treated and then she will develop a best seller around it and compete with Connie! I do think we will have a good 2-3 weeks of storylines ala Port Charles. But they will turn out to be a fantasy storyline but we will think it is real! That way all fans will be happy!
