The View's former moderator and ex-Today show host will continue on with the show until the end of the season when a new host will take over. In a released statement, a Disney/ABC spokeswoman said: It's the final year of Meredith's contract. She has chosen to move on and pursue other opportunities. We are searching for a new host. No word on who will take over for Vieira. One Response stefanstavros January 11, 2013 I hate to hear this! I’m a big fan of Meredith Vieira, and she has brought A LOT of class, humor and heart to Millionaire. I actually almost went to NYC to audition for the show of course to try to win some cash but equally as much just to meet Meredith! She’s a gem.
