Did Tucker Betray His Family One Too Many Times on The Young and the Restless?

At the opening of Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) club, Billy (Billy Miller) and Nick sparred over Newman. The lights went out, so of course Nick’s first thought was of what Victor (Eric Braeden) will say. After seeing how Nick’s club opening was bombing, Tyler (Redaric Williams) told Nick if he let him take over promotion, people would be lining up to get in.

Speaking of Tyler, Lily (Christel Khalil) didn’t seem to mind him hitting on her, though she did appear to brush it off.

At the cabin, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) asked Jack (Peter Bergman) about Stephanie. Nick called to tell her Summer (Hayley King) was sick. After she hung up, Jack told his ex to go be with her kid. As Phyllis prepared to go to Summer, someone lurked outside the Abbott cabin.

Tucker (Stephen Nichols) seemed to be having a bit of a pity party. Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) told him he’d betrayed his family one too many times.  Am I the only one who really wants to see General Hospital bring back Nichols’ Stefan Cassadine for the 50th Anniversary?

Well now...... poor poor Tucker McCall... don't know what to say about this as I have given up on this character long ago, when his plot castmates ( Sophia, Genieve, Ashley, etc ) all left the scene and not one of them ladies took him with her! LOL

Re: Tyler - I have to say he is a bit narcisstic - but if you don't promote yourself, who will ?

Nice to see a bit of flesh of NuNoah.....

"Tucker (Stephen Nichols) seemed to be having a bit of a pity party. "

HA! When isn't Tucker having pity party?
We've suffered through 3 years of Tucker having a pity party. I can't wait until he leaves and we can see Katherine think about something than her "relationship" with him, so I could care less if Tucker betrayed his family too many times.

What I would like to see in the future is the Chancellor clan on Y&R again. The strong extended family Tucker entered into 3 years ago, that existed since the 70s, is no where to be seen anymore. They where picked apart piece by piece until it was only Katherine,Devon,& Tucker obsessing over this thing called a " good relationship". SNORE! I've been watching since the start the last three years have been the worst ever for the Chancellors.

The Tucker character is such a mess. Stephen Nichols must be so bored. Since the storyline with Sharon spun out, his scenes consist of him begging other characters for time/attention/understanding and their responding to tell him how awful he is. Such an undignified and drawn-out exit. The actor deserved better, even if the character was never anything special.

BTW, whatever happened to Sophia and her & Neil's son? Talk about a disappearing act! They've gone into thin air without a trace! LOL.

I'm no Tucker fan. But they've turned Katherine into such a judgmental harpy I wish she would just drop dead.

Sophia is in WISCONSIN, don't cha know?

I have heard that word WISCONSIN so many times on Y&R lately, its like they need to remind viewers where GC is!

So has Jill, and she was supposed to be part of the current story. Jill was facilitating the reconciliation of Kay & Tucker AND having a sexual relationship with him (lol). Then *poof*, she vanished! No explanation on why she's not around and no one is mentioning her name. What's going on?

How long was Jess Walton filming? Have all the episodes aired? Did scenes have to be edited out because of SN leaving?

I wish the soap media would stop obsessing about employment status of Steve Burton and Stephen Nichols and find out what's happening with a long running Y&R vet (Jess Walton) who's been on the show over 25 years now.

Jill's been part of GC for almost 40 years now, yet it's all about a 3 year character named Tucker, and the actor who plays him? Why are the employment issues of Stephen Nichols more important to Y&R viewers than those of Jess Walton?

Coffee_Junkie ... exactly!
Katherine has all that bitter gall to judge her own flesh and blood when the man she admires most in the world (Victor) does exactly the same and oh so very much more. By the way, which room in that sprawling mansion is she holding Murphy captive in?

The Tucker character has been a bust. When SN started playing him, I hoped he would be a major player, but they never let any of his promising relationships play out and Stephen has been wasted.

I'd say bring him back to GH, but I REALLY don't want to see the whole Cassadine family back again and it wouldn't make sense to bring Stefan back without the rest of the clan.

I think Tucker/Stephen Nichols WOULD have *taken off*. But once (at the time) Eric Braeden renewed his contract that was it. The show didn't need two Victor-like characters. I think that's why they recast Tucker to begin with--they thought EB was going to leave, and they wanted someone who could be "Victor-like" playing Tucker. Because prior to that, Tucker (as played by William Russ) came off as a wounded teddy bear. Nichols tries that slant too, but he just comes off as a petulant mama's boy instead.

William Russ, about 9 mins into this clip. I miss his portrayal as Tucker McCall! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxvFKXEbrAg
