New One Life to Live Cast List REVEALED?!

Photos of One Life to Live's new head writers Susie Bedsow Horgan and Thom Racina hard at work creating new storylines were posted today on Facebook. A yellow poster board with the following names of fictional Llanview denizens was seen in the background:

1.) Dorian
2.) David
3.) Clint
4.) Natalie and John
5.) Dani
6.) Matthew
7.) Jack
8.) Bo
9.) Nora
10.) (Scribbled Out)
11.) Tea
12.) Blair
13.) Rama
14.) Cutter
15.) Destiny
16.) Jeffrey King

Out to the side under the heading "3 Stories" were the names Viki and Dorian. Many of the characters had their age ranges listed beside their names, while "Jeffrey King" had "Black and British". Considering only four of the actors who played the aforementioned roles on the ABC Daytime version of OLTL—Robin Strasser (Dorian), Erika Slezak (Viki), Jerry verDorn (Clint) and Bob Woods (Bo)—have reportedly signed on, Propsect Park is likely working overtime to convince the remaining stars to come on board.

While the characters of Todd and Starr Manning (played by current ABC Daytime contract players Roger Howarth and Kristen Alderson) weren't listed, sets for "Todd" are part of the outline. A casting call has already gone out for the roles of Matthew Buchanan and Destiny Evans, played respectively by Eddie Alderson and Shenell Edmonds on ABC Daytime's OLTL.

It will be interesting to see how many additional parts end up being recast. As I previously reported, Prospect Park has in fact already legally taken back possession of the characters of Todd, Starr and John—all currently airing on General Hospital. It's important to note, I said the "characters". As I clearly reported a few days ago, Howarth, Alderson and Michael Easton are all under contract with ABC Daytime.

The brass at ABC Daytime is hoping to secure a deal which will allow those characters to eventually return to GH. However, they will be leaving — at least temporarily. There is no word on whether the actors involved are willing to do the OLTL continuation.

To see the revealing pic—which also details sets to be used—keep reading! Thanks Appleridge, for the tip!

I would love to see Sam Hall contacted as a consultant as he was head writer during the show's greatest era (circa mid 70s- mid 80s)and knows the history of OLTL and its more established characters like Viki, Dorian, Clint, and Bo. He may be in his 90s, but his mind is still sharp as ever, based on an online interview he gave a year ago about his past soap experiences.

UMMMMM QUESTION

How can ABC truly work out deal with PP if the 3 characters of Todd,Starr and Mcbain(WHO'S BORING ASS HELL) are all highly important and major players on OLTL. Both Todd and John are leading men/top guys in their ages groups. How can PP truly share them. Are their s/l on PP suppose to halt for GH when in fgact they arent truly important to GH. And Starr is the front lady for OLTL in the young adult group. While RC made her it for GH cause he wanted to keep OLTL important. The person he should have given that to was Khristina.

Im not saying what Jamey said is BS but it's how can GH/ABC fight for something that isn't theres and would end up hurting GH and PP. Is GH characters suppose to go oh he/she is away when IN FACT the GH characters could easly keep their lives going with out the OLTL characters. Cause I feel outside of Michael the other ppl would move on VERY quickly without these characters. Todd and Mcbain lift right on out.

FINALLY how can they float back in forth are the writters going to say do this on your end so it works out on our end your storyline out look needs to go her so our ppl can be together. Hell NO

ABC can just let them go and RC can write for the PPL of GH we have great characters. Who dont need OLTL ppl. How can u fight for somehing that you dont own or speak of sharing just go.

I don't know why people are excited, that isn't a list of cast, it is a list of characters, people don't read.. The same four people have signed on, Erika, Robin, Jerry and Robert. We already know Starr, John and Todd are just temporary.. PP owns the characters, but the actors are under contract with ABC.. They are trying to work things out.. Also this information wasn't revealed, it was on one of the writer's (Susie's) Facebook, so someone took the photo and magnified the photo..

The reason they are fighting it, actually they are trying to work a deal with Prospect.. The actors are under contract with ABC. Prospect owns the characters.. PP only wants them temporary anyways..

I don't think it matters that the actors who portray Todd, John & Starr don't have contracts with PP. What matters is that they have contracts with ABC. I really like the idea of them eventually going back to GH. I like Starr with Michael, Todd with Carly and John with Sam.

I can live without Matthew or Destiny, especially if the original portrayers won't be back. But the show really needs Rex, Aubrey and Vimal too! And since I'm being greedy, write Kim and Kevin back in as well. MAYBE Kelly and Joey, especially if the writers split them up. Laughing out loud

The show doesn't need Rex. He swallowed the show the last few years. He was never a strong enough actor to get the air time that he got. I actually like this cast. The only issue I have is that I think it needs a few new characters tied to the past. So many of these characters have "been there done that" that story potential is limited.

I'm sure Sam will be on the show but he will be non-contract since he is a child actor. Same for Nigel, Roxy, et. al. That list was probably just contract players.

You cant fight for something you don't own. PP owns the characters. Those 3 are to important to OLTL. PP needs them more than GH. Actors can go characters cant.

How do you know they only want them temp. Do you know somebody who said that or are you going off of what Jamey said. Jamey don't even work for GH or PP. So to say tthey only want TODD MANNING, STARR MANNING OR MCBAIN temp is soory but ass backwards. Those 3 characters are highly important to OLTL and they future of there show. There isn't on girl on OLTL trhat is more important than Starr. Todd Manning is the is the most important guy in his age group from history to family. There isn't 1 guy who is more of a factor than Todd. And John Mcbain is the next guy IMO he is a total Lame but Mcbin is a HIGHLY important character.

And are you going to say they are going to let them walk for what. They are important to there show. It's dumb to say we want them temp. so you can have back 3 major roles to our show. You would rather keep the characters and lose the actors than let them go back and forth.

PLEASE EXPALIN FOR A FACT YOU KNOW PP ONLY WANTS THEM PART TIME. Nobody for a fact can say thats true and if you can please provide proof. Cause it damn sure goes the other way around. You bring back Vicki,D.Lord, Nat,Bo and Clint, Blair and others. But 3 VERY important ppl are just temp PLEASE

The issue is why should 3 GH ppl wait for 3 OLTL ppl. No they dont have ccontracts with PP. But PP owns they characters and the characters are important to PP and OLTL moving forward. Can we really sit here and say they characters of lets say Lucky, Sonny and Robin would matter more to OLTL if they had ended up over there. Actors matter to a point but god knows those characters matter ALOT to OLTL.Starr not being on OLTL is crazy it's like Sami from days she got way more s/l to go. So does Todd and Mcbain history and family is on OLTL.

RC should have brought these ppl on as new characters he F'ed up and mst def. with Mcbain cause he looks the worst outta the 3. He has no real s/l and what he does with him is so forced and contrived.

Please watch Deception and Scandal two great shows led by African American Actors.

pretty fashionista kerry washington's show scandal is a ratings success! It’s a really soapy and it more racial diversity than what hollywood usually offers from any of its films and tv shows. I was really entertained w/ the shenanigans of season1.

Scandal draws 3.52 million viewers for its 18 to 49 demo and 8.4 million total viewers! Scandal typically ranks as the NUMBER 1 show on 10 p.m. Thursday w/ the 18 to 34 demo! Great accomplishment there for Kerry Washington and scandal especially bec it and deception are the only shows w/ African american lead actresses on primetime.

According to the nyt hollywood executives are less eager to discuss Scandal’s success among African american audiences. Scandal is the highest rated scripted drama among African americans with 10.1 percent of black households and an average of 1.8 million viewers watching during the first half of the season.

Typical RACISM from the “enlightened” crowd of hollywood! if scandal failed then tons of “tolerant” hollywood people would claim that a dramatic tv show w/ a racial minority lead actress could not succeed. the racists of hollywood must be furious w/ scandal’s success!

hollywood’s racist to actors and to the audience w/ their lack of portrayals of racial minorities. The relevant context is that people of color are already under represented and then actors of color get typecasted w/ stereotypical roles. Olivia Pope is not a stereotypical black female char who has attitude and is there for comedic relief and yet the show is a ratings success. Scandal’s success should encourage hollywood to create more tv shows w/ racial minority leading chars who are not stereotypes!

obviously there are very little representations of Asian americans especially when compared to white lgbt chars.

but hollywood loves "realism" whenever there's no racial diversity but not for lgbt portrayals. typical hollywood bias.
