He’s a great get for OLTL! Hopefully, he’ll bring a lot of younger viewers to the show. He needs to have a great storyline. I’m curious who his love interest will be.

I wonder if Bleu’s joining is part of a larger deal with Prospect Park that might get him guest gigs on their cable series. For someone who was part of a big franchise like ‘High School Musical,’ he must have bigger career goals than starring on a soap opera.

His last show tanked and he was passed over being chosen for host of US X-Factor, might as well take a bit part on an online soap. Good for him.

This might come off sounding rude…but he was in one of Disney’s biggest movies, and he goes from that…to an online soap. But at least he’s working and there is an OLTL for him to be on.

The original High School Musical was (along with HSM2) a tv movie, not a film. While the “High School Musical” series was indeed a teen phenomenon, it wasn’t until HSM 3 was released to theaters where it made $100 million worldwide ($50 million stateside)…which is pretty small beans financially in Disney terms.

Bleu’s last role in the HSM franchise was in 2008 in HSM 3.

and he goes from that…to an online soap.

Judging from his IMDB profile, outside of guest spots on The Good Wife and Blue Bloods, he went from that to a whole lot of other gigs and his acting career hasn’t been exactly threatening Channing Tatum or Bradley Cooper. OLTL actually looks like a step up for him.

JBJ…never called High School Musical a film, nor did I ask for a summarized google search of his past roles….but thanks I guess. In my opinion, it is a step down for him to go from movies and primetime roles to a online show. You remind me of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, always annoyingly stating information that no one asked for. Just because you google stuff, doesn’t mean my opinion will change.

You’re welcome.

OK…and?

You remind me of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, always annoyingly stating information that no one asked for.

Being compared to one of the most popular characters on one of the biggest television juggernauts in years…that also happens to be one of my favorite shows? I’ll take it. ;)

Just because you google stuff, doesn’t mean my opinion will change.

I wasn’t even attempting to change your opinion.

I was stating mine.

(Pssssst…I went directly to IMDB…not Google.)

I’m surprised your ego doesn’t require its own account to post on here. Yes, you were stating your opinion but in what I interpreted as a direct contrast to mine using my qoutes. Was that necessary? It came across as you attempting to say that what I was saying was somehow wrong. You do that in the majority of your posts. Quoting other posters and adding your opposing statement as if they’re wrong and you’re right. It’s annoying as hell.

Okay Mr. Encyclopedia Fact Checking Opposer.

I still don’t see where my post required any facts that needed to be checked or corrected. This has little to do with your so-called style of posting but more with your incessant need to “one up” other posters. I don’t know if you’re one of those Romney or Obama fact checkers, but it wasn’t necessary. No one was asking for any information, and it comes across the wrong way.

That’s actually very funny! I’m going to use that!!

Yes, you were stating your opinion but in what I interpreted as a direct contrast to mine using my qoutes. Was that necessary?

It was and, for me, yes. That’s my style. ::kanye shrug::

It came across as you attempting to say that what I was saying was somehow wrong.

Not especially.

You do that in the majority of your posts.

Eh…..but not particularly, because…

Quoting other posters

I’m not the only one who does it…just more than others…

and adding your opposing statement as if they’re wrong and you’re right.

As opposed to what others do when they disagree with someone is somehow demonstrably or substantively different, just because most don’t quote? Mine is a stylistic choice. I generally respond when something strikes me as off in a comment or if I know that a bit of info isn’t quite correct and I provide, to the best of my knowledge, what is indeed the correct information. If I point out info that is incorrect, I happily accept that (such as when I thought Elena didn’t have any lines in the last episode of Dallas and someone pointed out she did); my ego isn’t so big that I can’t. Generally, I try to keep the facts factual.

On opinion matters, I’m as free to disagree oragree with others as I see fit.

It’s annoying as hell.

It is what it is. ;)

Ghteenybopper is absolutely correct, of course, both in her/his original comment and in her/his later comments on the inimitable JBJ. JBJ, your ability to scan IMDB and use blockquotes is remarkable.
Corbin looks very yummy. Too bad he has probably slept with half of NYC…
And a little part of Virginia as well….

but you didn’t hear that from me….;)

JBJ: Ignore all the dumb cows on this site, there’s nothing you can do to get them to see things from another point of view. When they say something that’s biased or incorrect, they’re just “sharing their opinion” but when you share an opinion they don’t agree with, it’s all fire and brimstone. Sooner or later they’ll get bored and crawl back under the rock they come out from.

…and I don’t like the fact that Jill never visited her son Billy once during this latest JoshG tenure. But we were treated to plenty of flashbacks of Dylan and His Gang.

GHteenybopper: You included yourself in that category, not me. I’ve already reported you to the webmaster for personally attacking members, so do yourself a favor and don’t contact me again.

LOL..attack, really?? HAHAHA

ETA:

To pull a JBJ let me give you a googled definition of the word attack.

ATTACK:
at·tack
/əˈtak/
Verb
Take aggressive action against (a place or enemy forces) with weapons or armed force: “in December, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor”.
Noun
An aggressive and violent action against a person or place: “he was killed in an attack on a checkpoint”.

Let’s just all put on our sunglasses, get into our cars, head to the bar, order up a Vodka & Diet Sierra Mist Lemon-Lime, look at the girls (or guys), put on a movie from the 1940s (Mrs Miniver, for me), and be nice to our fellow man.
