HomeTVDays of Our LivesSami Wants Stefano’s Help on Days of Our Lives Luke Kerr March 15, 2013 Days of Our Lives, TV Recap 7 Comments Sami (Alison Sweeney) phoned Will, (Chandler Massey) and woke him up. She quickly told him she was going to fix the problem with Nick (Blake Berris). Will told her not to get involved, but if you ask me; those were some famous last words. Everyone, including Will, knows Sami will do what she wants. EJ (James Scott) surprised Sami with the news that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) was back in Salem. Sami immediately determined Stefano was the only person who could actually help Will deal with Nick. EJ did not like Sami’s train of thought. He told her she hadn’t thought her plan through, but she insisted they go see Stefano. EJ warned Sami that Stefano would want something from her in exchange for his help. EJ suggested there might be a way to give Stefano something he wants, without Sami selling her soul to the devil. When she asked what that might be, EJ proposed they and their children move into the DiMera mansion. If that happens, the DiMera mansion should be renamed Salem Central Station. Heaven knows everyone and their son or daughter will be traveling through it. Gabi (Camila Banus) told Nick that Will tried to tell her something the day before, but didn’t. When Gabi left the room, Nick texted Will to meet him somewhere. When they met, Nick dished out a bunch of the same old bull about why he’d done what he’d done. Rafe (Galen Gering) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) woke up in bed together. Their pillow talk ended up being about Stefano. Rafe told her that he wasn’t afraid of Stefano, and looked forward to Kate’s ex finding out about them being together. Kristen (Eileen Davidson) and Stefano continued to plot about bringing down John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall). Chad (Casey Deidrick) arrived at the DiMera mansion to welcome his father back to Salem. Brady and John (Drake Hogestyn) met to try and make peace. Brady originally planned for Kristen to show up when it was nearly over, but she arrived a bit earlier than he anticipated. 7 Responses Yoryla March 16, 2013 This, Thursday’s episode, was perfect to me! It consisted of all the things that are making Days so good right now: Kristen/Brady/John (and boy, did Kristen look GOOD in that dress or what!) Sami/EJ together, scheming and possibly moving into the DiMansion Chad reaching out to his father (loved these scenes!!!) and hopefully moving in too! Will & Sonny vs. Nick (even Though Will is a pushover, love how smart Sonny is, he has Nick’s number with all the area codes!) And Rafe/Kate and a possible triangle beginnings of Rafe/Kate/Stefano. I’m really starting to like “Rate”. At first I thought they were created just to provide angst for Sami and Stefano (which of course is part of it) but I’m not so sure anymore. I’m loving them together. Kate is a such an exceptionally beautiful woman, and Rafe is SO much more likeable with her than with Sami. And: Days was up in all categories in last week’s ratings! Up from previous week AND the year before. Log in to Reply pjc722 March 16, 2013 I love the character of Sami! For 2 decades this character n actress has made days n daytime a fun place to be!! It’s just sad that the rest of the cast is filled with throw always. Will is a great character but has none of the spunk or fierce fighting power of any of his father. None of Sami’s deviousness. None of Lucas’ fight, none of Kate’s take no prisoners. None of marlena’s smarts. And none of Romans confrontation skills. Time to rebuild this character!!! Will should be the perfect foil to anyone because of the blood running through him. He is a “vampire” mixed with “werewolf” mixed with the wizard of oz, Glinda the good witch and The wicked witch of the west all rolled into one. YET ALL WE GET FROM HIM from the writers IS A FLYING MONKEY. (Sorry mixed my THE VAMPIRE DIARIES with my WIZARD OF OZ analogies) Chloe is a copy copy character of Nicole from last year and Nicole is just a weak version of a weak character. Both women are being wasted for contrived stories. Chloe … And the actress … Should be a powerhouse yet she is pathetic. And Nicole is just being wasted in a thorn birds type story when she should be doing great battle with Sami and Kate! Plus how do either women make rent?? Nicole is a rectory receptionist and being catholic it’s either volunteer freebie work or minimum wage. And Chloe doesn’t seem to do much other than plot. Jen has now become boring and silly. Hope is a therapist cop. Roman is non existent. Rafe is monotone. Kate should be taking over the world. Brady is a robot. Marlena is great fun but I’m tired already of this story. Give her another story to run alongside this one. It just can’t be day in say out because as a doctor it’s pretty obsessive no matter what way u look at it. Log in to Reply ChrisGa March 16, 2013 Still not loving the way Will is being written–I don’t want him to be an out and out schemer like his mother, but I would like to see a nice balance of good and maybe a little morally ambiguious–but at least a light bulb has finally gone off(?) and he realizes trying to see reason with anything involving Nick is a losing battle. Of course, we’re going to get the full deets on Nick’s homophobic bigotry pronto now that his insanely hot jail “husband” has been sprung. And I found it very odd that as Gabi was putting the wedding band on Nick’s finger that Vargas was doing the same…was there actually way more going on between him and Nick than first alluded to? Should be interesting. Log in to Reply Yoryla March 16, 2013 Vargas is so hot… He is played by a guy called Sean Douglas. Purely from a looks point of view, can you imagine what a Vargas/Will pairing would look like? That’s my wishful storytelling. Scorching hot! He shouldn’t even be in a relationship right now. All he does is drag down his partner. Log in to Reply lance_prentiss March 17, 2013 [quote=pjc722] Time to rebuild this character!!! To believe that he is as naive as he comes across is so unbelievable considering he actually blackmailed EJ last year and his family’s numerous misdeeds. I guess the writers want Will to come across as the sympathetic victim in comparison to treacherous Nick, but it is frustruating. I want to reach through my TV screen and shake Will half of the time.
